So yeah due to multiple privacy concerns popping up about Mibbit stealing your passwords and your credit card numbers and just logging everything you say and giving ADS all over the place, I've banned Mibbit from PPIrC.net.  In its place I've setup a webchat script that is directly comparable to Mibbit in feel and features and is not being monitored by the KGB!

Just type your nick and hit connect and you're now on the exciting world of IRC CHATROOMS.

SSL support coming soon, depending on how I decide to implement it.  This is a completely secure webchat script being hosted off of triela.  It is actually known as qwebirc (http://qwebirc.org/), Quakenet's opensource web IRC client.  It's basically a full featured IRC client with everything, including nick highlight (it flashes the browser window), color support, tabs for convenient access to multiple channels and PMs, and it has a line marker to show where the conversation left off if you switch to another tab or window.

So now there's an easy way to pop onto #shrinemaiden from any computer without having to setup an IRC client!

Cool, now I don't have to open mIRC everytime I want to go the IRC channel (which is rare :V)

It's probably the port unfortunately, I have it on a nonstandard port because it's on the same server as the webserver.

I keep getting 503 - Service not available when I go to the site.

Is it just my connecting being crappy, or is something going down?

You wouldn't be getting a 503 if your connection is playing up on you. So naturally, it's temporarily down as of this point.

That said, confirming the state of 503.

Sorry, forgot to restart it when I rebooted the server.  Fixed.
