>The rest of the trip passes in silence. The heat helps you dry off decently, and certainly combats the clammy feeling that getting out of the drizzle left.  Having to endure Flandre on your lap gets more and more draining, though, as her wings keep finding new and innovative ways to stab and jostle you, not to mention the lack of leg room. Thankfully the crystals are fairly blunt. Still, you are more than happy when the chariot finally descends and the canopy opens, even if it leads to Flandre futzing around with her parasol and accidentally whacking you in the face with the cloth part.
>Looking out as you touch down, you can see that you've landed near the cable cars at the foot of the mountain.

Just saying, but you could ask Kanako about the idea of bringing Mitsu back with us.

I asked Mitsu twice and she declined both times (pretty emphatically the second time, given I had asked once already and forgotten). As much as I'm interested in bringing someone back with us, I don't think it's a good idea to pursue it a third time. :V

If only Juza were less loyal, this wouldn't be a problem.

Well that would have also made it hard to make her loyal to the mansion.

Plus we know that Mitsu does not wanna leave because of the duties about tending to the jet, maybe Kanako would like the idea of having Mitsu go back with us so that she can tend to the jet on that time period ? Plus she likely is considerably more knowledgeable that the kappas of that time too.

Sakuya doesn't know that the jet exists in her time (unless Kanako told her, but I'm pretty sure she didn't).

Didn't she see some giant flying thing on the sky once though back in the day ? I am pretty sure she could piece two and two together, if you haven't already before with her when she was talking to Kanako.

Maybe. It's still not something I'd really be comfortable pursuing, though; jet maintenance aside, I suspect Mitsu has personal and social ties to this time as well.

>Crowd noises, strange lights, strange sounds, it all comes at once. People are everywhere, buildings loom close and high, signs in a multitude of languages. It must be nighttime here now; perhaps it always is? Still, it's not so bad as you remembered. Well, perhaps those vehicles are, they'd definitely going to be a pain as always.

> Head toward where we think it is, then.

>You make your way down the boulevard, doing your best to deal with the increasing sea of curious peoples. There are youkai and humans, people who are mixes of both. You also see youkai that you've never imagined, such as a woman who looks like a dog with leopard spots and sporting one of the meanest scowls that you've ever seen, and what seems to be a gaggle of mouse youkai sisters with their tails intertwined together, all joking with each other as they make their way down the street.  There are a number of carts that move themselves on the street, and a few carts pulled by humble oxen or other creatures as well. Above you can see a variety of youkai flying here and there, as well as odd, small machines that do so as well. As well, there are a few things that seem to be held aloft by cloth spheres that are idly floating in various spots, making their way at a lazy pace.
>It takes a little bit, longer than you'd like getting through the crowds, but you eventually reach the park. It too is a bit crowded, with people moving between the statues, and a number of picnics set up more or less at random. The Diet Building looms ahead.

>"It's not that bad, is it?" says Flandre, as you make you way through the statue garden.
>Entering the building, you can see it is as much a hive of activity as ever, with uniformed messengers and various figures moving around, some relaxed and some decided not relaxed. The doors at the far side of the entry hall stay closed, but the halls to the side remain open. The hall has a definite echo from the babble of conversation.
