I can't fathom how you'd make idea two syllables instead of three in the first place. :S Any way I try to think of to pronounce it that way would just to just drop part of the word entirely, as opposed to words that you can force into less syllables by mispronouncing them in a still-comprehensible manner. You have to have I, and then D, and then there's the uh... and you can't really combine any into a syllable or drop any without just losing the word entirely. The closest I can get is eidya (I'd-ya) which... doesn't sound anything like idea :c
Maybe Ida. Anything else just sounds like ID, as in identification.
