Here's the results of the THQ back catalog auction:

Nordic Games acquires Darksiders, Red Faction and MX vs. ATV for $4.9 million.  They also acquired nearly all of the remaining property rights at the auction.
505 Games acquires the Drawn to Life series for $300K.
Gearbox acquires the Homeworld series for $1.35 million

This is the result of the previous auctions and sales:

Sega has bought Relic Entertainment (Dawn of War series and Company of Heroes series)
Koch Media/Deep Silver (Dead Island) has bought Volition (Saints Row series) and the Metro license
Ubisoft has bought THQ Montreal and publishing rights to South Park: The Stick of Truth.
Crytek has bought the Homefront rights
Take-Two has bought Evolve and the WWE license (the WWE games will be produced by 2K Sports)

Trying to figure that out myself.  They actually have several subcompanies and are more of a publisher, such as The Adventure Company.  With that said they still publish a lot of... really unnotable releases.  Everything I can find by them, excepting - apparently - Sam & Max Season One - I've never heard of.

My research indicates they're a third-party publisher mostly known for ports.  I guess this is their foray into publishing their own titles?
