I'm guessing the brother attempted to rotate the 360's position while AC6 was playing.

As for me, I'm just dabbling in Knytt Stories right now.

Now that Majora's Mask is out of the way, I can concentrate on Final Fantasy IV, which I got for Christmas. I've heard this ramps up the difficulty significantly from previous versions (I've played FFIV Advance), and I can't tell for myself yet since I haven't even reached Mist, but...did those enemies just try to petrify me? o_o This does not bode well.

Was it a cockatrice? I think you fought them early and they could petrify you.

Also I got a PSP for Chiristmas and i'm playing Dissidia Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star Portable.

This. Makes the disc jump inside the console and scratches it so hard it becomes unreadable forever.
And games are expensive here too ;-;

Seems like every Persona game has that "girl which can't cook" social link and you end up as the food tester.

You know, for all the negative flak it got, I was expecting FFVIII to be terrible. It really isn't so far, though most of what I've been doing has admittedly been breaking the junction system (wheeeeeee 100 Curagas on HP at level 9)

As long as you keep your level low, it's basically a game wanting to be broken, since, like Tactics, enemies scale to your level. And that's without getting into Aura/The End abuse.

FFVIII is only hard when you are a clueless kid like I was when I first got it :V
I ended up using lower junctions when I was overpowered from before and the bosses were still way too easy. I banned Aura, fought the final boss with 4k hp, removed some junctions, still easy.

They are either extremely slow, do almost no damage, or.....yeah, you get me.
The fact that you get Protect and Shell at the 3rd boss and that it lasts a ridiculous amount of time is broken enough and if you have even the slightest idea of what you are doing you will be an overpowered bastard for the remaining 3 and a half of a disc.

No junction challenges are nothing but spamming limits and praying to God that you will be invincible for the most of the time.

Only tangentially related, but...I was talking Persona with my roommate and he hasn't played 4, but insisted to me that 3's final battle's music was amazing. I went and listened to it...two impressions.

One: The Almighty is still better.
Two: I've heard this somewhere before....

Going to start on Front Mission: Gunhazard tomorrow.

Being a fan of the Front Mission series and of the concept of customization, it sounds like a great joyride.

Front Mission 4 is still sitting around, but that's because I have noticed that evasion rates are just ridiculous.

The Huntsman is the best weapon in TF2.
Sniping with a rifle is one thing, but shooting an arrow without a scope and seeing it fly for a second or two before CRITICAL HIT pops up is one of the best things ever.
