> You take care to get yourself untangled without waking Satori.  Thankfully, she's a heavy enough sleeper that she doesn't wake up when you finally dislodge yourself.  You follow the meowing to the bedroom door.  Upon opening the door, you see a few cats pacing in front of it or just sitting there, meowing.  Orin is among these cats, in cat form.  She doesn't run, but one or two of the other cats do when you appear instead of Satori.

> You open the door wider.  One of the cats steps inside the room and slides behind the dresser.  It's amazing how cats can just fit anywhere they want.

>"She's trying to sleep. You guys hungry or something?"
>Step out, leave the door open a crack.

> The cats continue meowing.  Orin jumps up on her hind legs and puts her front paws on your leg.  She jumps away when you open the door.  The cat that entered the room re-emerges in pursuit.

> You don't know; it's dark outside, and there's no clock immediately available.

> The cats start off towards the stairs, meowing all the way.

> You follow the cats.  They lead you down the stairs, across the main room, down the hall, and to the kitchen door.

> Sigh. "So you guys WERE hungry." Faux glare at Orin. "You could've just SAID so."

> You enter the kitchen, and the cats immediately go for the cupboard.  They scratch at the wooden door, yowling.

> Satori will probably be up within the next half hour or so.  She might sleep in a little longer, depending on how tired she is.
> You get bowls, line them up on the floor, and then fill them with cat food from the cupboard.  The cats go to them immediately and start eating.

> Back into the bed. We might not want to go back to sleep just yet but it's warm.

> You give Orin ear scritches.  She rubs against your hand in response.
> It's still kind of early, so you backtrack to Satori's room.  You crawl under the covers and savor the warmth of its blankets and soft mattress.  You have a lot on your plate right now, and it makes you appreciate things like this even more.  Beside you, Satori sleeps away.  Every now and then, she mumbles meaningless words.

> You lie back and quickly fall into a half-awake haze.  You fall into fleeting dreams, seeing images that you forget as soon as they're over.  As you rest, you feel the covers rustling.  Satori sits up in bed and yawns.
> "Hahh...good morning, Reimu," she says as she rubs her eyes--including her third eye.

> "Oh, you fed the cats.  Thank you."  Satori stifles another yawn.  "And you didn't see that Kasen girl on the way downstairs...I wonder where she went off to."

> "Mmm.  Mako's doing fine.  She's been bored, so I've been sending Okuu to play with her."

> "They like to hang around in the wastes outside of the City, or the Hell of Blazing Fires--especially the kasha," Satori says.  "It's true they sneak into the City, but they're all over the place and it's unreliable."
