Alright.

This is a damned if we do, damned if we don't scenario. My suggestion is that we tell the Martian forces that the Hope of Faerlion has officially requested political asylum. If they wish to continue this, they will be committing an official art of war against us without any kind of justification. Should they wish to present grievances against the Hope of Faerlion in a diplomatic manner, we would be happy to arbitrate.

Thoughts?
This really seems like the only logical thing to do right now, so I'm in.

Apparently, Thomas the Tank Engine isn't one to take crap from anyone.

Assuming no one else has any complaints, I say we go with it. There's a good chance Mars is going to want a piece of us anyways, but hopefully we'll acquit ourselves pretty well.

Out of curiosity, do we know anything about Martian ships? Like, the range on their weapons and so on? Mostly to see how effective we can expect those turrets to be.

> You hide the Izanagi, Bushido, and Vinductus to hide on a nearby asteroid in ambush position.

>You hail the Martian fleet, saying that they  have requested political asylum.

> You can hear the captain muttering under his breath. "Very well, we shall stop our attacks. Don't think that this is over"

> The martian forces stop attacking the Hope of Faerlion. The ship seems to have sustained massive damage, and limps towards your base.
