Title: MotK Periodic Touhou Tournament #00b (test run 2)

Welcome to the the second test run  of the periodic Touhou tournament. It is meant to gauge interest and see if there are any changes to be made with the 2nd format. Play the games and try having fun.

=== Tournament format ===
There is going to be one playing week: from 20st to 28th.(since i think it is better for the month to end, and  then go again from the begin at the next one)

You are going to  play two runs this time . You may play either or both ? as you wish.

First one  is a Survival  challenge.
You are going to play  Imperishable Night  with the Magic team.
The winning conditions is that the one with the most lifes wins if there is a tie , we are going to look at bombs if they are tied too , the next thing to compare is Score.
Extra rules:
1.You cant submit failed runs, you have to clear the game .
2. Start the game with 1life and default bombs .( go to options you will find there the choice)

PS: this is a test i hope u dont mind, but keep in mind that this tour is so we can improve ourself


The Second one is a special challenge.
You have to play Mountain Of Faith : Stage 5 with ReimuC without using any bombs.
The score is what matters.

Gave me an excuse to finally 1cc normal with Magic team. Too bad the run sucked and due to slowdown on stage 4, the slow rate was 6.10% :(. I have no idea why stage 4 hates me, both stage 4's. There's no reason for it. It's pretty much random whether I end up higher than 5% or not due to that stage. Not that have 1 spare life left was any good.

Edit: And Extra is much worse about this than stage 4 ever has been

I think I'll go try to 1LC Easy without too many bombs soon.

You can't start Extra stage with 1 life, it always defaults to 3.

1 Death to something completely stupid...and then I deathbombed during Hourai Doll of all things.  Captured PbP with damage though!

Does it matter which final route you take in IN?

I don't see why it would, but should there be a tie, you'll regret if you picked Eirin's since you will have lost all the points from Kaguya's last spells and the night bonus that you only get from her path.

Also Enigma, if you didn't die you should have 8 lives at the end, not 7 (count the life you are currently playing).  You should probably also put that in the first post as well.

Sorry, couldn't help myself to making a Low-Score run.

120-130 mil MoF Lunatic coming up. That is, if I can shotgun Mid-Boss!Sanae's Spell Card for long enough without dying (higher Spell Bonus).

Just so you know, I reach ~250k Faith and ~33 mil score by that point. It varies a bit because I'm human.

Tried about a dozen times to top Lybydose, but could only grind out 58 mil. I actually scored better on this run where I died twice than on the one I died once on Guest Star. Umm, dumb death in the middle of the stage, then her second to last card nicked me. Definitely possible to improve, but not willing to at the moment~

How on earth did you do that without focusing, Lybydose ;_;

Regrettably, Sanae's third card threw me a wave i by no means could have handled so i end this run with three misses. I capture mid-boss card, Moses' Miracle and final card.

No-deaths at the stage and of course, no bombs.

Decided to go with FinalA so I wouldn't have to deal with Kaguya's "normal" (aka harder than Hard) spell cards.  Didn't really work because I know next to nothing about Eirin's non-cards and Apollo 13 is still stupid.
