>You continue on; Archer has a good armload of wood by this point, and you return to camp after an hour or so.
>Checking your phone, it seems to be about 4:30 PM. Oh, a message from Lancer, you must have missed the sound.

>"You could've been a little nicer," Archer says, as she starts to arrange wood in the hole.
>Taking out the mana battery, you examine it. It definitely radiates like heck. You think this issue is less how to make it stop but more, what can you do right now that will still leave it portable.

> "Maybe, but I don't believe in insincere apologies. I'm not sorry for running, I expected them to do the same! I sent them a warning!" Wildly gesticulate with Seinfeld-esque mannerisms.

> What kind of materials would we need to make a little case for it that would make it less noticeable?

>Archer shrugs. "I'm just saying you could have been nicer, unyielding position or not. That goodbye at the end seemed like you was using it to say something nastier, if you ask me."
>This depends on how much time and energy you would intend to put into it. There's a few mundane coatings of increasing expensiveness and difficulties to get that might mask it a little. You might be able to make an enchantment to mask it as well, if you could find the right supplies and were willing to invest a couple hours and a decent amount of power into it. You don't think you're going to be able to blot it out entirely, though.

>Archer nods. "We'll see."
>You start working out a way to handle this issue. You think it will take a lot of mana, but you ought to be able to find something. Working it out is a tad ponderous, without your lab, you have to work off of memory. Without traditional tools, you are left sketching notes in with a twig on the dirt; you dare not open up a text file on your phone, that is too much blending of the mundane and the magical. Still, your knowledge base is hardly lacking, and you come up with a solution that shouldn't be too reagent heavy. But you will need at least a sizable cutting from a Dancing Plant, and that will not be easy to obtain... Then you'll need a few hours, and a considerable amount of your mana. But if done correctly, it should significantly hamper any attempts that would casually detect the mana focus.
>You spend a good hour working this out, during which Archer obtains more firewood.
