>"I want to find some flat stones to throw on the bottom," says Archer. "then we can keep wood in there with less worry of it getting soaked, and easily heat up stones to drop in water for a quick boil. Or toss some clay in there overnight and let it fire. Though maybe that would make too much smoke? Hmm...really the best thing would be to set up some firing some charcoal, it burns with less smoke..."

>"It's familiar," she says with a grin. "I used to live like this all the time. Heh, if we had time and you didn't already have that tent, I could get a decent little shelter going, too. Even one worth living in if I had a couple days to go scavenging for the right stuff."

>"That just means they're used to having their money doing the thinking for them," Archer says.
>Checking your phone, you can see a majority of the hotels seem to be clustered along the main drag leading to the beach. However, there are a number of smaller ones dotting the area here and there. You aren't sure if there are any really luxurious ones among them at a glance.

> We'll get started walking back to town.

>You make your way back to town, aiming for the main hotel drag. The woods are nice, and not too hard to traverse all told. Every so often Archer makes note of some easy firewood, or a nice rock for doing whatever. The birds are out and singling, and every so often you catch sight of a rabbit or squirrel. Archer suggests they are probably some deer around here, but likely only a few. You're not really a walk in the park kind of person, but it is a nice enough excursion.
>It took maybe ten minutes to drive here from the beach, and takes a bit over an hour to walk back. Frankly, you could use a rest, but you've reached the main drag once more. The street is loaded down with traffic, and there are people everywhere. Mostly tourists, you're certain.

>"You might," Archer says with a shrug as you slump down onto a bench. "But it's not like we have anywhere to be, so there's no real worries about taking a break."
>You rest for a few minutes, letting your breath and heart rate return to normal. You think you might have just felt a twinge of something, but maybe it was just something from cooling down.

>You continue up the street, feeling it every so often, until you're certain you've found a source: The Anchorage Motel. It's a C-shaped single floor motel, with all the rooms opening toward the parking lot. Amusingly, it is next door to some Boomer Trap called Crabby Dick's.
