>Let's loop around him and get to the hall with the stairs. From them, back away to the stairs.
>Consider what vulnerable bits the cloud is covering, so we know what to target if it tries to attack again.
> What IS that cloud doing? Will we need to pull out the big guns and let the orb out?
>Does the cloud seem to just be some liquid in the water, or does it seem to be congealing into something, or what?
>What sorts of things can danmaku not pass through, aside from that cloud?
>Does the thing seem to be in pain, or just vomiting this stuff up?
>Stay close to the stairs and observe., if it charges, duck down the stairway and get to the first floor.
>is it in our eyes?
>Staying here will be unpleasant. Let's get outside of the house for now.
>Were there windows in the hallway?
>Evade towards the stairs.
>Attempt to descend them if possible.
>Take Gohei in both hands, slam it end-first into the thing's head. Try not to breath or swallow anything.
>Try to push away from whatever's raining on us and into open hallway. Or down the stairs, wherever we happen to be.
>Gems?
>Any sign of the fish?
>Wait for a moment, see if the fish is going to show up.
>If not, cautiously make out way back up to see if it's still up there.
>Examine the thing. And maybe nab some of those jewels out of the water...
>Has the cloud cleared up?
>Hold breath and make our way out. Grab any more gems we see along the way.
>How do we feel about exterminating youkai.
> The sooner we can get to Alice, the sooner we can get some tea and call it a day.
> Well, once we drain Gensokyou.
> And fix that hole in the sky.
> And figure out where Yukari's gotten off to.
> ... This is going to be a heck of a day. Let's surface.
> "Took care of that fish guy. Uh. Maybe."
> Hold out the jewels.
> "Also your gems are everywhere."
> She's not looking too hot. Maybe we should get her somewhere dry.
>We need to get a fire going to make some tea. Best location for a fire around here?
> "Oh. Uh, I guess that fish brought them with 'im, then? It's got arms, that makes sense."
> Best check those bites we got.
>Give Alice the jewelry(?) box and her room key after checking. "These are yours, though."
>"A very angry one, it knocked down one of your doors to get at me."
>"You look like you could use somewhere to warm up and rest. The survivors from the human village are on the Palanquin, which is <where the palanquin is>, do you think you could make it there by yourself?"
>"Going to check on Marisa's house, then head to the Scarlet Devil Mansion. And don't cause any trouble if you go to the ship. It will make me very irritated."
>"Yeah. Go get on that boat and get dry. Unless you wanna come with me? That's fine, too."
>Did we have the foresight to get some tea prepared ahead of time while Kasen was with us?
>"Well, don't have any spare clothes on me, so I guess you're your on. I do have a spot to warm up tea, so you could use that to dry off."
>Float properly, and indicate to a sleeve. "Yukari made a little room in there. And frankly, I could use the tea. According to an umbrella youkai who visited, it's rather nice in there."
>"Alice, I just fought a fish with arms and problems. Do I look like I'm joking? Go have a look if you doubt me."
>"Do you really think I'd play a prank on you at a time like this?"
>Present that sleeve.
>"Go on in if you want, make some tea. I have a tea set in there that heals you when you drink from it, so maybe give that a try?"
>"Well, make me some tea at least! I did get chewed up beating up that fish in your house.
>Once she's in, head for Marisa's house via air.
> Call into our sleeve. "Hey, got the tea ready?"
> Is that futon still in there? If so, suggest she snug up in it.
> Watch Marisa's house for a bit. Anything sus- well, more suspicious than usual?
> What do we remember about Marisa and Alice, and how well they get with each other?
>Does there seem to have been any exceptional damage to Marisa's home? Or anything interesting floating around it? Does it seem to have the same variety of marine flora that Alice's had around it?
>Can we see into to windows from here, or is it too far underwater?
> "Hey, wait. All the stuff around you, it hasn't been ruined by the water, has it?"
>"There was an accident."
>What is that little box? Inventory.
>"You mean the music box? The other is just personal stuff, don't get into it. And it looks like Marisa's house is about as bad off as yours. Not so much of the weird plants around it, though."
>Were those plants spring up all all the forest, or just around Alice's house.
>"Dry, but the basement's flooded. That's why I have my little box in there. Akyuu came to visit, and now she is kind of stuck there."
>"Yep, but the Myourens and Mokou were around, and they did a good job of helping people out. Took a weight off my mind."
>"So, I want to have look into Marisa's house quickly. It's got those plants around it like yours did, and I want to see if the pattern holds. You shouldn't notice anything, but if it does start to get wet in there for some reason, give me a scream."
>"Good! I'm going down, tell me what happens."
>Plunge down. Keep near the surface for a moment, and give Alice a moment to react.
>"Good! Keep me posted!"
>Down to the front door of Marisahaus. Anything unusual at a glance?
>Head through the front door.
>How large are those fish?
>Use our gohei to move junk out of the way, and look around for anything like a glowing bronze shard, while making for that rightward door.
>Do any of the books look undamaged by the water?
>Find Waldo
> Shuffle around through this room, before opening up that left door.
> Make sure we close doors: she'll probably not notice any of this junk going missing, but might as well do our part to keep the environment Marisa-free.
> ... Let's close the door and float on upstairs.
>"I can't understand how Marisa can find anything with her house cluttered up like this."
> "Yeah, well it's just regular chaos now. I hope I don't have to go grazing kitchen knives."
> Left first!
> "Can you see anything through the sleeve hole from where you are?"
>Do those bottles seem to be properly sealed, or are they leaking into the water?
>"Well, the good news is that all that magical potion goop she has was sealed away properly. None of it has seeped into the water."
>Let's head into the lab and have a closer look at things. Maybe check some of the desk drawers, they'll be flooded anyways...
>Look around, do we see any boxes or the like that Marisa might keep a bronze shard in?
> Let's try the other room.
> "Hey, have you seen any bronze magic pieces floating around? Not just here, but anywhere?"
>Before we go, let's check the shelves.
>"I've been finding them. In particular, that arm fish in your house had one. or at least dropped one once I beat it silly."
>"Well, I found one in my pond. The other got into Koishi's hands somehow. Don't really know how she got it."
>Check check check the shelves~
>"She's a satori, kind of messed up in the head. Lives underground most of the time, I think?"
>Once we feel we've exhausted the shelves' potential, let's move on like previously indicated.
>Dawww.
>Into Marisa's room!
>Bat the hat away, and take a closer look around for bronze shards or things that might contain them.
>Might as well.
>Do we see anything else that could hide a bronze shard?
>Check the corners, then behind the curtains, then the pillows, then the covers and bed.
>Grumble and move on to the next room.
>"This place is such a sty! Faeries probably keep better homes!"
>Left!
>"I doubt it."
>Try the right door.
>Jammed... raspberry flavored. Only one witch would dare give us the raspberry!
> Introduce door to our underwater door kicking skills.
>Can we use our magic-sensing skills?
>Use magic-sensing to locate magical things in Marisa's house.
> Then let's sense us some magic in the middle of the witch's house. No way this can go wrong.
>Take a moment to assess the sitting room for bronze shards and places where one might be kept.
>"Hey, is it, um, healthy to have all this magic in a place where you live?"
>Let's check under the couch. The rest seem unlikely.
>"Not like this it ain't."
>Let's check that other room.
>Oh right, that was a bathroom.
>"No luck, it seems."
>Leave the house.
>Let's surface and continue on toward the mansion.
>"How's that tea coming?"
>"Well that's a pain. You started a fire to warm up with, right?"
>Presumably our experiences with this water have proven it to be extremely salty?
>"Well, maybe we'll get some water from from the mansion."
>Proceed.
>Nothing to be done about that if we don't have anything good to bandage up with.
>Do we have any idea what the light is? Are there any more flashes of it?
>Random questoin: did Sanae's sleeves also have storage space in them?
> Well, we told Alice to prepare some healing tea, didn't we?
>Does the light seem to be coming from the direction of the mansion?
>Either way, let's home in on it. Someone probably needs help.
>How flooded is this region?
>Do we know the relative elevation (and expected flood status) of various areas, such as Bamboo Forest or Garden of the Sun?
> Let's go buzz that clock tower.
>Does protocol suggest we approach the main gate or go directly to the library?
>Also, how well do hyumans heal, specifically wounds such as ours?
>Let's approach those people at the gates. No need to cause problems trying to break in, it's rude.
>"Hey, it's me, 've come to visit."
>Fire Torpedo Tube 1!
>Is it odd that we haven't seen any reporter Tengu recently?
> "Your boss around? And who's your friend?"
> "Well, if you guys are standing around together and haven't killed each other yet, I'm pretty sure that's what passes as friendship around here. Is that librarian of yours around? We gotta talk to her about some books."
> Thank the gatekeeper, and find us a wizardess.
> Suddenly think about the books Marisa "borrowed", and how pissed Patchouli's gonna be when she finds out they've been swimming.
>Do we need medical treatment soon, or do we have time to visit Patchy, visit Remi, and then fly to Eientei?
> Wait for someone to let us in.
> "Visiting the librarian. No need for a guide, we know the way." Or rather Alice knows the way. Maybe.
> "All right, let's go." If we remember how to get there, then let's get there. If not, then we let Alice lead while totally pretending like we know where we're going.
>What do we know of Alice's relationships?
>"How are your dolls doing?"
>"Didn't you have an automatic doll?"
> Wave back slightly. "Wonder if I can get hot water here..."
> And we're walking, and we're wlaking...
>Fly down.
>When is the last time we saw Shinki?
>Is Koakuma related to Alice?
>"I hope the library hasn't suffered too much damage. It would be nice to have Patchouli's help."
> Help Alice open that door. Her and her noodly arms...
> Ambuscade the nearest fairy and get her to fetch some tea.
> Young girl? Is it not Patchouli, or does the librarian have a more youthful appearance than we remember?
> Hail the librarian. "Hey, Patchouli. Got some books that need, um, fixing."
> They must be good friends.
> Cautiously put the marine life book on the desk.
> Subtly keep a spellcard close at hand. She looks like she's going to get dangerous.
> "You've looked outside in the past... uh, yesterday, right? Couldn't be helped." Keep cool and don't let them know about our slipup that lead to us trying to read underwater.
>Where's our *$&%*$& tea, Shera?!
> "I did help it. I brought it to you. Are ya gonna do something about it?"
> "Sorry, fresh out of firstborns. What is it you want?"
> Show her some of those gems. If they can cover both our books then that's fine: we sorta did startle Alice into falling into the water.
> "For both? Neat."
> Let's get these books dry.
> We HAVE been waiting for our tea. I mean, it's been like a minute.
> Oh, she meant magic. Let's wait for it, bleed all over her furniture. That'll teach 'em.
> Huh, thoughts are getting a tad strange. Probably due to the loss of blood.
> ... Oh, right, this is a vampire mansion. Yeah, we probably smell like a buffet or something.
> "Just get me that bath, I can take care of this if I get that tea."
>"Hey, Patche, try not to lose the bookmarks in that book, either."
>Follow that devil!
>"Yeah, I don't envy you that."
>What do we know about Yon Wee Scarlet?
>Also, keep an eye out for that tea.
>"Hey, before that, can you get me some tea real fast? There's a faerie around the library who's working on it, I think? I need it to deal with these bites."
>"Just trust me, geez."
>"Sure. Those'll help."
>Head inside, prepare tea set on a convenient table.
>Grab a towel to deal with the blood.
>Are we used to showers?
>As long as the cup is clean.
>Do try not to get blood everywhere while waiting, then. Also prepare up the necessary bathing utensils.
>Once things are arranged, wait for that tea.
>"Come in!"
>"Not yet. What took so long? I figured a place like this would have tea ready all hours of the day."
>Get in on that silver tea set and introduce it to our tea set. If the stuff has been poured already, transfer it to our cup.
>"Thanks!"
>Serve and consume. Chug, if it's not too hot to do so.
>Finish tea, then assess. Are we still bleeding and such?
>Eh, good enough for a shower. We'll have another afterward.
>Go get cleaned up.
>Dry off, get dressed. Have another round of tea.
>Toss old clothes into our sleeves, then our tea set. And the bandages, because why not? Keep the current cup though and finish it.
>Once we feel presentable, head back to the library.
>Nod to Alice. "Nice look."
>"Let's see, It was big, had arms, had a tail about yea big,"
>Use arms to indicate size.
>"It had sharp teeth and claws..."
>Describe anything else we can remember...
>"A whole bunch of eyes."
>"Well, for one, it really didn't like me... ...it also did not want to listen to reason much, either. Though it was intelligent enough to dodge danmaku..."
>"it was an angry thing, for certain. It bashed through a door, and got really enthusiastic about it when it heard me talk. And managed to tear through Alice's ceiling. Um, it could shield itself from danmaku with its tail, And it puked out some purple stuff that made my eyes sting and kept danmake from passing through it before I was able to knock it out."
>Nod.
>"I think all the other fish I've seen today have been in that book. For instance, one squeaky fish called a dolphin which was smart enough to, well not talk exactly but Kasen and Satori were able to get information from it."
> "Speaking of which, how long'll it take to dry it?"
> "Well, that's good. Sounds like something useful for people to know for the next whenever until I get this fixed.
> Quests. Time to organize our thoughts.
> "So, any way to waterproof books?"
> Add quest: "Have you found Jesus?"
> Several important folks around Gensokyo are missing or out of commission. Find out what's what.
> Yukari: Gone, last seen during the slumber party at the Hakurei Shrine.
> Kanako: Went poof due to faith reasons.
> Sanae: In a coma and ticking off orbs something fierce. Currently being looked at by Satori.
> Add quest: "Yukari kick a hole in the sky"
> The sky is cracking and there's orbs of water floating about. The tears in the Border are a bit freaky, so we might want to prepare for something.
> Add quest: "Insert witty name here involving bronze and shells and stuff"
> Mysterious bronze fragments that impart the Glow are scattered across Gensokyo. Gather them and see what's what. Four pieces currently collected.
> "So it's doable? I mean, it might be good if something like that doesn't happen again."
> Sip tea likeTommy Lee Jonesa boss.
> "So how long?"
> Let's get us that tea, then.
>"So, how did the flood affect things around here?"
>"Well, I notice the chief maid hasn't shown up yet, so I guessing at least some things went wrong. And can I get some more tea? And...maybe a jug of water with a good lid on it?"
>"I'll yell back at them. In fact, where is Sakuya? I'll go beat her to the punch."
>"Alright, thanks."
>Nab that refill, then meander over to the greenhouse.
>Meander in.
>Remi will expect us to chat with her at some point, right?and drink tea, we're going to have green blood from all the tea
>"Hey? Anyone here?"
>Head inside. There's got to be paths to follow if people expect to move around in here.
>Glance around for flood damage to as well, be it to the flora or the walls and ceiling.
>Sunflowers. If we're lucky, Marisa is taking care of the Garden of the Sun so we don't have to.
>Let's keep following that big tunnel, then. Keep an ear open for people.
>It's not that Yuuka isn't nice, or that we don't like her, but she has quite a temper and this is just the sort of circumstance we don't want to be near her in.
>Does it smell anything like what that arm fist's purple mist tasted like?
>Let's follow that smell. It probably means that someone is there, or something needs to be dealt with.
>Let's go rightward.
>How far have we come? Does it feel like we're still on the SDM grounds at this point?
>"Hey! What are you doing up there!"
>Keep going, cover our face with a sleeve. Keep low so we can breath okay.
>Of course. Why did we think the fire would be caused by anything other than dueling?
>Does it look like the black-white and the younger sister?
>What are they saying?
>Stoop down under the smoke.
>Take a deep breath.
>Stand back up.
>Kick that volume up: "IF YOU DON'T CARE OF THIS FIRE RIGHT NOW, I'M GOING TO GET REALLY, REALLY MAD!"
>"Blame Patche's familiar."
>Does it seem like the danmaku has stopped?
>Let's identify the actors in this scenario. Is Sakuya involved, or just observing? Let's try to confirm whether star shooter is Marisa or not.
>Let's move around the outskirts of this and circle around to get a closer look at the source of the red bullets.
>Continue to observe. Do be ready for her our shots from her to come out from the trees.
>Does the metal tub have water in it?
>Get metal tub, turn upside down and set teapot on it.
> Well, might as well make use of this fire. Try to use some kindling to start up a new batch of tea. They're gonna need it after we knock their heads together.
> Snap, that's no good. What made that sound?
>Blame Rinnosuke.
> Remove it from the heat!
> Well, good to know our magic tea might have some weak points. Let's go break up this fight now, Hakurei style.
> Take flight, and let's knock some heads together.
> Fly onto the scene like a normal person. Only a maniac would bust in and smack up everyone.
> "Okay, why is everything on fire? And who the heck are you?"
> Frown. "No, I remember you. I'm just wondering why the flower youkai is trying to burn down the forest."
> What do we recall of Yuuka?
>"Hello Remilia and [everyone else]. I have some tea here. Why don't we all sit down and discuss whatever is going on ... after putting out this fire of course."> Not this. Too friendly.
>"Hello Remilia and [everyone else]. I have some tea here. Why don't we all sit down and discuss whatever is going on ... after putting out this fire of course."
> Not this. Too friendly.
> "I call it as I see it. Now is someone going to put out this fire, or am I gonna have to intervene? I already beat purple smoke out of an armed fish, so I'm really not in the mood."
>What is up with Sakuya? She seems quite irritable.
> Is the greenhouse underwater?
> The greenhouse building, not the inside of the greenhouse. Is the building submerged, but keeping water out?
>"...Just out the stupid fires before I get even madder."
>Wonder what she has in mind.
>"Yuuka, you don't want me to fight you right now. You want me to understand what is going on so so I don't have to fight you. So, make me understand what is going on."
>Plants. Can't live with em, can't live without em.
>"No, Yuuka, it isn't more fun. And do you know why? Because the only reason you're here is because your garden got flooded out, isn't it?"
>"How long til they drown, Yuuka? Even I know that watering a plant too much kills it."
>Nod.
>"As soon as the flood clears up. Funny how most of the people who would be clearing up that flood are here having to deal with you, isn't it?"
>"No no no, Yuuka. We aren't changing the subject just yet. Just how did you get in here? And you do know where this is, right?"
>Don't most of our incident resolving plans involve beating up random people until they agree to stop causing the incident?
>"So, Yuuka, you weren't invited in, and you're wondering why people might be a little upset?"
>Head shake.
>"Let me be honest, here. I actually don't care if you stay here or not. In fact, I would prefer you stay here, so I know where you are and don't have to worry about you drowning or getting eaten by an arm fish. Furthermore, I don't even care if you and Remilia fight it out the whole time, or go make out in the nearest closet. Do you know what I do care about?"
>Presuming she shows any interest in caring, continue, "This."
>Gesture toward the fire.
>"That's what I care about. We have a pretty severe incident onhand. Everyone's suffering, and I come here to find this. Do you see what I am trying to say, Yuuka?"
>"I'm saying you're making things worse for everyone, including those plants of yours!"
>Don't actually say that. Deep breath.argh, too late
>"What I am saying is that you are acting like a villain by tying up the incident resolvers. This is the opposite of how a guardian and steward of plants should act in this circumstance."
>"I was trying to be polite. What I am saying that you're being a problem. I don't like problems, Yuuka. So I am trying to be nice and give you a chance to back down, so we can all focus on the real problem. If you would prefer not to back down, then I will have to knock you down. Do you remember the dream thing, years back? I do. I remember knocking you around quite a bit. And by your own admission, the flowers aren't doing too well these days, are they Yuuka? Think you're still up to form like back then, when there were too many flowers? Because I certainly am not in the mood to be nice anymore. So, the choice is yours."
>"That's how it always goes, isn't it"
>Are we smart enough to know that aquatic plants tend not to flower, and are more like that delicious seaweed?
>Glance to Remilia. "What do you think?"
>"Won't be a problem."
>Are our spellcards more effective indoors or outdoors?
>Would it be a really bad idea to use the Orb in here with all the plants?
>And would using the orb violate the spellcard rules?
>Glance to Yuuka, "Shall we head outside like civilized people?"
>Motion for her to lead the way.
>"Now then."
>Take to the air and make sure we're up high enough to minimize friendly fire. Allow Yuuka to get into position as well.
>"Before we start this, you do realize you're wasting time that could be used to drain out your garden, right?"
>"No, seriously. I would have been out the door already following a couple leads if not for this. We can still just head back down and wrap things up so I can be on my way, and maybe Marisa can be useful for once, too."
>What spellcards have we onhand?
>"Just giving you the chance to do the intelligent thing."
>"Kay."
>Drop Omni-Dimensional Demon Binding Circle with as little pretense as possible.
>What sort of fireworks can we add to a spellcard without disrupting it?
>Observe Yuuka's attacks, so we aren't caught off guard.
>Move so that it the curve passes us by, and send an aimed stream of needles in her direction, if we can do that without breaking the spellcard. If she wants to be cagey, let's see her deal with even less space.
>If it's slow, we have time to read it. Let's do so.
>Add in another stream of speedy needles, since the prior one was disrupted. This one is to be aimed slightly off center from her, so as to force her to either dodge into the stream itself.
>Does it look like the faster ones will get to us first, or the original volley?
>If the faster ones will get to us first, negotiate them as assess how much time we have til the original volley gets here.
>If the original volley will get here first, fly through it, don't wait for it to get to us, and clear it before the faster shots arrive.
>Alter the stream now, make it a series of small speedy left/right waves that will force Yuuka to either move or do some very intricate parasol work. Don't fire until we feel comfortable getting around at least one of the volleys.
>Force our way through the fast bullets before the slow ones get there, and reclaim our position; from there force Yuuka to move and micrododge through the slow bullets as needs be. Macrododge if necessary, no point in exchanging blood for blood.
> Is our spellcard still active? If so, use needles to herd her into a complex area of the pattern. If not, use needles to get her to block with her parasol and try to bank ofuda around into her side.
> As for the random danmaku, conserve movement do avoid accidentally wandering into danmaku blindly.
> Keep micrododging for a few more seconds to keep Yuuka in a pattern, then break away from the stream quickly and get around her.
> Circle strafe around her while alternating between ofuda and needles: it might distract her, it will hurt her some, and it'll keep us moving in case she uses that move Marisa stole from her.
> If the beams are only circling around her on one axis, then drop down underneath her and throw needles at her from below. If they circle on multiple planes... well, do the same thing: she'd have a harder time using the parasol while we're below her.
> Slow down our barrage and focus more on dodging her bullets and getting a feel for the pattern.
>Do we use our gohei for danmaku?
>Our ofuda do home, yes?
>If so, let's fire some of those and forget about them. They can be Yuuka's problem.
>Does the point of explosion seem to be random?
>Would it be possible to target her explosive shots to neutralize them before they explode?
>Which of our spellcards use The Orb?
>Do we have any System cards or Skill cards?
>How good are we at familiars?
>Have the explosions seemed to be things that Yuuka was doing herself, or do they seem to happen by themselves?
>What happens when your out danmaku hits you, does it vanish or does it pass through?
>Let's try to ascend above Yuuka and to the side of her now, if the way is clear. and keep the ofuda coming. If we can, try to toss them out from the sides so they have to follower a wider angle and thus are harder to block with the umbrella.
>Can we add anything to ofuda attacks, or are we at capacity?
>Keep moving, then, and make the most of our speed. Circle around her part of the way, then arc over her. Try to give those ofuda a wide of a spread as possible.
>Can we do back-and-forth shots, like frog or snake?
>Is Yuuka still being fully defensive?
>Also, is her card still active?
>Then let's do our next direction shift; close in from above at full speed while keeping the ofuda coming. However, keep far enough back that we can still dodge whatever the card throws at us or back away as necessary and don't blindly run into anything. Presumably this will give the ofuda wider angles to curve in from. If she moves too much, she makes them go wild, if she blocks she has to find a way to block all directions.
>And now we change angle and go left and back, if it is clear. Let her fall away and put distance between us.
>Let's fire some talismans that shoot out and then move backward at a 45 degree angle (as if they ricocheted off something) when they get about ten meters from us, if that's a further distance than we expect Yuuka to be at.
>Keep going, in case she tries to do that sweeping thing like Marisa did, and send needles directly at her.
>Does it feel like it's getting closer?
>Move in the direction opposite of the heat, full speed.
>Keep going. Maximum speed!
>Is the master spark gone?
>If so, take a moment to assess that danmaku. Don't need to fly headfirst into something.
>How much of a beating has she taken thus far, at a glance?
>Do we feel we have enough room to use a spellcard without getting hit or hemmed in?
>What position would be most advantageous for using Dream Sign "Evil Sealing Circle", or does position not really matter with it?
>Then let it rip. The sooner this is wrapped up, the better.
>Is our dodging ability or speed affected at all by using a spellcard? What about our position?
>Does Yuuka's card seem to be centered on herself, or in a certain region of the sky?
>If it is spreading out, does it seem safe to move directly under her, once one gets past the initial volley?
> Then let's do that, concentrating on moving and sustaining the spellcard for now.
> Then let's make it waver by giving her some needles to worry about as well.
> She's probably aware of the danger: let's surprise her. Fire needles straight at her, then just to her left immediately after. If she dodges away from the ofuda then she'll run straight into the needles.
> Hide any sort of sign that we had fun: this is serious business.
> Follow Yuuka down. "All right, so no more trouble? Having a hard enough time figuring out what's going on, so it'd be really helpful if people'd not add to my headaches."
> Eye the newcomers with suspicion. Just WHERE did all these people come from.
> Don't forget to eye Yuuka with suspicion, too, before stepping closer. "Yeah? Do you know something? And begonias don't suit me I think."
>"Dandelions."
>"And, anything you can add to that?"
>Is Yuuka leaving or heading back into the mansion?
>"Be a good guest this time, Yuuka!"
>That Yuuka is such a youkai. Elegant, powerful, cryptic, whimsical, inhuman.
>That Yuuka'd be cute if she had a brain in her head.
>Look at Marisa. "Right. So. What have you figured out about this mess?"
>"Well, Sanae is in some magical coma, and Kanoko is missing according to Suwako. Most other places I went to are in survival-and-recovery mode, including the Underground and the Human Village.
Kasen and Satori spoke with a fish, and it seems most of the water was simply transported here from the Outside World. "
>Are we more likely to work as a team or compete when solving incidents with Marisa and others (Sakuya, Youmu, various otherstage 5 bossespeople)?
>"Some place that had nothing but water, if that fish is to be believed. Oh, and I got into a fight with a fish with arms, which is why I came in here all torn up if the maids complain about that. Have you had a look at that hole in the sky?"
>"Well, I don't think it was lying, so probably. Tell me about that big fish you saw? Oh, and have you see those weird Taoists anywhere? I found their zombie and they need to go pick her up."
>"Where were those crab things?"
>"I'll keep that in mind. They didn't have a bunch of eyes, did they?"
>"Oh, hey, related to weird fish, have you seen anything like these?"
>Show her a bronze shard. Take care that she doesn't get grabby with it.
>"They're shards of a seal. I think if we gather them all together, we can seal off something, which may be related to the broken hole in the sky. "
>"I'm a shrine maiden. I know a seal when I see it. Anyways, no I haven't shown Patche yet. There hasn't been time."
>"What've you got in mind for those?"
>"Fine with me. She's not going to be up to any good with them."
>"So, essentially, you don't have any leads, huh?"
>"Yeah, tell me about it. Oh, hey, maybe you know this? There's supposed to be some secret entrance to the underground reactor around here? Know anything about that?"
>"Yeah, it's kind of flooding out real bad. I was hoping to find it and see if I could block it off so they can drain out the reactor. It's been bumming Utsuho out, you know."
>"You going to drop in on your number one fan while you're here?"
>"Maybe I'll ask them. After I check with some of the people around here. What's next for you?"
> "Be careful with that. I got a bad feeling about that place: you shouldn't go in their unless you're really prepared. You also won't be able to complete any sidequests once you pass that point of no return."
> Hm... would Marisa know anything about why our orb tries to murderlize Sanae? She has had experience being on the receiving end of the orb back in the day, right?
>"You haven't seen any of those moon peoples since this began, have you?"
>"Where at? And, any sign of Yukari or her gang?"
>Shake head.
>"I don't think they're to blame, but also don't think they're blameless, you know? Oh, do you think any of this has gotten into the Sanzu river? That could be a problem."
>Do we think the flooding is bad enough it may have affected the entrance to Hakugyokurou?
>"Yeah, I ought look into that next, then. Make sure it's not causing any problems."
>"Might as well. You might catch something I didn't."
> "Have fun with that." Hm... how long has it been since we left the book with Patchouli?
> Well, no sense in us being the only ones out here. Let's return to the library.
> "How's it look? Any problems drying it off?"
> "Good. Marisa's around here too: she said she's gonna say hi to that little vampire."
>"Hey, do you know about any secret entrances to the Ancient City around here? They're having flooding problems."
>"Sure, it's better to ask the brains of the duo, that's all."
>Have we seen Koakuma yet?
>"Where's she at?"
>"Eh, sure."
>Meander that way and browse around along the way.
>Contemplate kicking out the stopper.
>But rather than do this, browse through the nearby books until Koakuma returns or the screaming starts.
>"Oh for the love of..."
>Replace book, steel self and head down, unless more encouraging noises soon follow.
>Let's take a moment to review things:
>What is Flandre usually like, personality wise?
>Can she usually be reasoned with?
>In terms of danmaku, how much better/worse is she than Yuuka to deal with?
>The extra jewel is another shard of our seal, isn't it?
>How childish is Flandre?
>How often is she let out?
>Presumably, she and Marisa are friends?
>"Hello Flandre. Is this your doll here?"
>"It looks damaged. Did you know there's someone visiting the mansion who repairs dolls?"
>Oh please Alice still be in the vicinity
>"Ok, fine. I want to borrow this librarian here, all right?"
>"I was trying to be nice to her, you know. Give her a little confidence in life."
>Rueful shrug.
>"I can still borrow her, though?"
>Motion for Koa to follow, and escape up the stairs until we're out of earshot.
>Then whipser, "Okay, what happened?"
>"When did she get that thing on her wing?"
>"Yeah, that."
>Nod.
>"Alright. Has she acted weird since getting it? And has she always worn it like that?"
>"Okay, that's good. Don't worry. Just go and rest up upstairs, I need to ask you some other things. And sorry about the confidence thing, that was just trying to get her to work with me, you know?"
>Consider giving all the shards to Flandre.
>Head back toward the danger zone. Listen and try to get a sense of what is going on before entering.
>Walk inside and assess the situation.
>"Sorry about that, kiddo. How's your doll doing?"
>"Huh, that's good. Well, like I was saying, I know someone who could give her a check up. Like a doll doctor."
>"Yeah, kind of. They aren't real doctors, mind you. Because dolls and other kinds of people have different needs and stuff. But the idea is kind of the same. And I can assure you of Alice's quality. Right Marisa?"
>"Because if I did Marisa would never let me hear the end of it."
>"Alice would never throw a doll away. She loves dolls."
>"Marisa wouldn't let her hear the end of it, either."
>"I don't know if I can do soon, doctors are weird like that, but I'm sure we can arrange for as fast as possible. Wanna run that up to Alice, Marisa?"
>"So, where'd you get the extra thing on your wing?"
>Take a look at it. Can we tell how it's suspended there?
>"Can I take it?"
>"Okay, okay. Just, it looked kind of like a set I've been collecting recently."
>"They're part of a seal, so it kinda falls under my job description, you see? Can't let someone bad get their hands on it and use it wrong."
>"Oh, no. You're usually a good kid, so no worries there."
>"So did you hear what happened? Someone flooded Gensokyo! There's water everywhere. "
>Show Flandre the other shards. "These are part of a seal. There are eight, but I haven't found them all yet."
>Remilia celebrates Easter? That doesn't seem like her.
>"I suppose, they're scattered around. I hope when they're all together I'll know how to use them to fix the problem, but sometimes knowing what to do is the hardest part."
>Hand the shards to Flandre.
>"They all fit together into one piece. "
>"Hmmm...Maybe it doesn't fit because we don't have the ones it matches with specifically, like a puzzle?"
> Hold out our hand to take back the shards. When we get them back, ask "Mind if I give it a try?"
>inventory
>Didn't we give the jewelry back to Alice?
> "Thanks." Give themouseFlandre a cookie for being a good sport and not trying to tap our neck or whatever. Also, to distract her from us putting this puzzle together.
> Like so. Mash them pieces together!
> "Oh, just something I had up my sleeve." Surreptitiously slip the shards into our sleeves.
>"But yeah, all I know is that it makes a seal of some kind. So I want to put them all together and see what kind it is, and if I have to find who got out and stick them back in it."
>Wait, don't phrase it as sealing someone, Flandre might be touchy about that.
>"But yeah, all I know is that it makes a seal of some kind. So I want to put them all together and see what kind it is, and what I have to fix with it."
>"With that one you have, though, it means I just have a few more to find. So it's a bit of a weight off my shoulders."Should we really bring that up right after snagging Flandre's? She might notice it's gone.
>"With that one you have, though, it means I just have a few more to find. So it's a bit of a weight off my shoulders."
>INSTEAD:
>"Want another cookie?"
>Frown. "Another one for the doctor?"
> Point at the stuffed animal when saying this. We don't want to imply we're giving her cookie to Alice.
> Sigh theatrically, like we're all "man what can you do?" instead of wondering what would happen if she did it to a not doll.
> "Want me to take that up to Doctor Alice? I can check up on, uh, that other one too."
> Take the rabbit. "I'll see if Marisa's coming back down, too."
> Upwards and outwards. Close that big door behind us.
> Let's find someone in this library, then. Patchouli might know what they're up to.
>"Patchy, do you know where Alice is?"
>"Right."
>Look around for some alcoves!
>Head for those back alcoves!
>"Hello Koa. Have you seen Alice?"
>Let's fly up there.
>"Hey, have you seen Alice around?"
>"Got another patient for you, Alice."
>Hold up the bunny.
>Hand it over.
>"Well, at least your work will be appreciated. She'll probably think you're a miracle worker, given how afraid she was that they were going to be thrown out. Heh, maybe you can get some μ off Remilia for the trouble."
>"Ask Marisa. It was burning when I got there."
>What time is it?
>"Sounds like. So, who started that fire?"
>Is it plausible to accidentally ignite things with danmaku?
>"How? She doesn't even use fire danmaku."And this is where we need Reimu to have "Hold It!" screencaps.
>"How? She doesn't even use fire danmaku."
>Nod. "I'll be on my way in a little bit, too."
>We need to sleep at some point, right?
>Let's go see how Remilia's doing.
>"Alice, can you deliver the dolls to Flandre when you're done? She will want to thank you in person."
> Pull out the remaining jewelry such as that earring. "By the by, is this yours?"
>We showed them to her earlier, but I guess we didn't actually hand them over.
>"Sorry Alice, it's been a long crazy day."
>Actually give her the two pieces of bling.
>"Koa, do you know where Remilia would be now?"
>"Well, I'm going to go look for her."
>Wander the mansion.
>Let's look for a fairy maid to guide us. Possibly the sitting rooms, or the veranda, or the dining room, or wherever.
>"Oh, Koa, I almost forgot to ask. You wouldn't happen to know about any tunnels to the Ancient City around here, would you?"
>"Where was it?"
>Nod, and commit that memory. Or write it down if we have the tools onhand or at hand to do so.
>"Thanks!"
> "Yeah, I told her that Alice is a doll-doctor. She asked me to tell you to go back to Flandre with her."
>"No problem. Got any scrap paper I can write those directions down on?"
>"Okay, thanks!"
>Back to Patchy!
>"I need to write down some directions Koa gave me. Do you have a scrap of paper?"
>Take them and jot down the directions.
>"Good, good. Did it come out like I hoped?"
>Nab the book and skim through it to check it's condition. Also keep an eye out for that arm fish.
>Are the bookmarks still in place?
> Add to quest "Take It To The Bridge"
> Received from Koakuma directions to an alleged entrance underground: through the cellar and straight over the fence to a big tree with a covered hole. Go straight through the forest for twenty or so minutes until we reach a moss-covered rock, then go right until we hit a clearing where a big hole is covered with grasses.
>Hope our Wisdom is high enough to remember that.
> "Hey, thanks for the help, looks better than new. Koishi'll won't gut me now. Or give me a stink eye. One of the two."
> "She's an experience. She's the little sister of... well, she's a satori that lives Underground. She loaned me that book there. Hey, did you keep the bookmarks that were in here?"
>"I wonder about that. The two of them together could be tremendously destructive, or really cute. Probably both."
> "Well, so long as we don't have a repeat of that one time it should be fine. I'll see if Koishi'd be interested in stopping by. She's the kind of kid that'll do anything once."
> Add Quest: Little Sisters Unite
> Flandre could use a friend from outside of the mansion. See if Koishi's interested in meeting with Flandre.
>Before we even think about that, are we sure that it's actually a good idea for the two of them to meet?
>No, but we can ask Remilia about it.
> "Thanks for the help. I'm gonna go see a vampire about... well, another vampire, I suppose. And other things."
> Go find that fairy and have her take us to her leader.
>Follow thebouncing ballfairy
>"Great, thanks."
>Enter.
>"Hey, got a minute?"
>"Eh. You knew I was here. So, how have you guys been weathering the flood, Yuuka aside?"
>"Not many other refugees?"
> Smirk. "Is that disappointment I hear in your voice?"
>"There are plenty of reasons to come here, as I know. Actually I wanted to ask you about inviting another person: Koishi, Satori's little sister. We were thinking she and Flandre might be friends."
> "Well, not violent. I mean, I've had to knock her around once in a danmaku fight, but I've had to do that to everyone so that's not really saying anything. She's a good kid, though a bit flaky at times, and she likes to come and go whenever she wants."
> "What's the harm in inviting her over once for a playdate? Flandre'll get to meet someone new, it gets Koishi out of her sister's hair for a bit, and Koishi's not likely to be broken by your little sister on the off chance that your sister doesn't like her. Or, uh, likes her too much."
> "I don't have a problem with that. It'd be like people coming over to my place and rummaging around unwanted." Which happens all the time. "Dunno when I'll have time to drop by with her: this flooding thing has me flying all over the place."
> "Nah, I need to talk to her sister anyways. Thanks for the offer, though."
> Was there something else we needed to talk to Remilia about?
> "So what's your thoughts on what's going on? WIth the flooding and the skies and everything."
> "Hm... so it started during the night, then... Good to know."
> Is our date still on for tomorrow, or has it been postponed due to the rain? And how late is it right now?
>How far away is the Hakurei Shrine from here?
>Would it be easy enough to return there to sleep, or should we beg for a room here?
>What have we seen in the way of portable lighting around here?
> Do we still have our official miko swimsuit (trademark)? And do will-o-wisps glow underwater?
> Well, before we go bug Patchy for a wisp or two, best see if Remilia knows something about bronze shells.
> Show her the bronze pieces. "Have you seen anything like this? Your sister had a piece, but I've been finding them all over."
> Raise our eyebrows in dull surprise. Seems like everyone has different reactions to these things.
> "She was using one as a wing ornament. She didn't turn into a bat, even when she handled all of them."
>"I'm honestly not sure. These things seem to be part of a seal, though I don't have the pieces the part she had fits with. But I do have a hunch that it might have something to do with this whole mess. Probably the seal to whoever caused this whole thing in the first place."
>"Well, it's an incident right? Nine times out of ten it's usually someone causing it, intentionally or otherwise. I've been in this business long enough after all."
>Pause for a moment. "Well, it could be a something for all I know. This isn't exactly your bog-standard Incident now is it?"
> "Gimme what you got. GUesses can't hurt."
> Deadpan. "Wow. It was something. I'm in awe of your instincts, really. I couldn't have guessed it at all."
> Don't say that. Remilia's not being stupid, she's implying she thinks this incident was started by a nonsentient event as opposed to a person or persons.
>"...like?"
> "So something... eh, not natural, there's no way this would be natural, but it wasn't caused by someone? Or... it was caused by someone, but not using their own abilities?"
> That would kind of be like when the big winter happened, right? No one really caused that, right?
>Nod.
>"Sounds reasonable. What are you basing this on?"
>"Is that so? Like, consequences of history fate, or something the gods ordained fate, or some other kind?"
>"Well, okay. I'll keep that in mind. I've never had to beat up fate before, but I'm certain I can make it happen."
>"I've beaten up some powerful things, so I'll just try to sweep up both."
>Did that sound like sarcasm?
>Well bly me.
>"Heh, thanks for the vote of confidence. So, are those wisps that Patche keeps to light the library her's or yours? I could use one about now."
>Nod.
>"Maybe I'll ask about one."
>"Maybe. I don't know if they work well underwater."
> "Thanks, I will."
> Take our leave of Remilia, and go bug Patchouli again.
>"Hey Patche. You ever read about holes opening up in the sky?"
>"No, I mean more like a hole kind of hole."
>"I guess you can start compiling one, because we have a hole in the sky. Anything you could tell me about it?"
>"I don't think it is. It's more like someone knocked a hole in some glass or something."
>"I tried shouting into it, but no luck. I...didn't get the feeling it was a good idea to stick my hand through or toss something past it."
>Describe its size and shape properly.
> "Eh, close enough. Good enough to start writing? Marisa's gonna check it out, too, so there's a canary for you."
> "So, I just remembered something. Yuuka told me about some garden that's not here or in the Outside World, and it had something to do with fringed... dandelions? No, orchids, fringed orchids. Sound familiar?"
> Do they look familiar?
> "Yeah, looks like it could fly away. So what do you think Yuuka's on about?"
> "So what's the meaning of that flower? 'Incident this way'?"
>"Incident. Can't make that kind of promise. Let's call it the next few days?"
>"Who do you take me for, Marisa?"
>"Me."
>"Thank you. I'll try to get it back as soon as things have settled down."
>Take it and glance at it's spine.
>Flip through it.
>"By the by, do you happen to have a good light I can use? One that works underwater, preferably?"
>Look up from the book.
>"Oh, nice. ...How do I take that, anyways? Is it solid?"
>Take the will-o-wisp
>Make a mental note to NEVER take the new book out underwater, we don't want a repeat of the previous two books.
>Examine Patchouli. Is she always this helpful?
>Flip through the floriology book for flower that Patchouli identified.
>"Ugh. I don't wanna deal with those magic stones again."
>How does one get into the world of dreams?
>"Hey Patche, remind me how you get into the dream world? Physically, I mean, not the normal way."
>"How'd Yuuka do it that one time, then?"
>"You wouldn't happen to know of any?"
>Groan.
>"You got to have something for me. I don't want to have to deal with Yuuka again."
>"Eh. You can't really do much in normal dreams, though."
> Anybody we know that can do weird stuff to dreams? Koishi has her subconscious thing, but who knows if that counts.
> "I never said that. It'd just be harder to do. I'm sure I'll be able to work it out. Any suggestions?"
> "Maybe. What is it?"
>"Sounds fishy to me. How do you do it?"
> Hm... maybe Koishi would be useful for this after all. "No, it's helpful. I'm honest about that. Thanks."
>"Patchy, are you really fine just staying in here? I'm going to solve the incident so if you miss the view you won't have another chance."
>"Thanks for all the help, Patche. You've been a pal. Enjoy that handful of jewels!"
>Head outside and have a look around. What's Meiling up to?
>Wave to Meiling.
>Approach.
>"Hey, what sorts of people have you seen passing through since the whole flood started?"
>"Anyone I'd know?"
> "Maybe. Have you seen a blue suspicious lady floating through?"
>"Any Yakumos?"
> "Huh... okay, thanks. I'll probably drop by with someone in tow. If you see a three eyed girl with a fancy hat, don't kick her or anything, 'kay?"
> Welp, enough fooling around. First, let's find a private place to change back into the swimsuit, then hand off Sakuya's dress to Meiling for her to deal with. Then, let's follow 'em directions to that supposed secret path to the underground. We need to block that off before Satori's drowned out of her own place.
>"Hey Meiling, where's the cellar entrance? Don't worry, I'm not going to get in it, I just need it to help me find something."
>"Thanks!"
>Do so, then read up on what the next step was.
>Head toward the fence, and examine the trees.
>Check around wide-trunk's base for holes. If one does not present itself, go from there.
>Fly over that fence and get to checkin'.
>Interesting. Kneel down and peek inside.
>What were the directions from there?
>Wonder if we can persuade Alice to tumble down this rabbit hole.
>Head straight for that mossy rock.
>Contemplate the next instruction, and look around to make sure those youkai aren't giving us any of the sass.
>Also take a moment to appreciate the flowers.
>Head right to the clearing, and check up on the next instruction ahead of time.
>Take to the air and float upward, then examine the situation at hand.
> Hm, if it's only arm length wide, it shouldn't be too terribly hard to plug it up. The only question is how: do we know where we can get some large, thick wooden boards, or some boulders large enough to seal up the hole?
> Check inventory. Never hurts to see if we're forgetting about something useful, and right now we could really use something useful.
> That's silly. It's not like we have a bathtub up our sleeves.
> ... Wait a second...
>is the futon still in our sleevespace?
>if so, contemplate whether using the "bathtub" or using the futon is better to plug up the hole.
>are there any large trees nearby that are thick enough to cover the hole?
>If so, contemplate toppling one over (using danmaku or anything destructive we have on us.) so it lands on the hole.
> Facepalm.
> Back to the SDM!
> Before we go to the SDM, contemplate if the bathtub would be strong enough to resist all that pressure.
>Survey the area a bit. Does this seem to be an isolated lake, or does it seem to be connected to the greater mass of floodwaters?
>What kinds of large debris did we see along here?
>Did that big, mossy rock look large enough to plug the hole?
> Would we be able to shift the mossy rock on our own?
>Comtemplate the youkai we say along the way. Did any of them seem to be brawny enough to move that boulder? Failing that, did there see to be enough to move it though force of numbers?
>Let's schelp back toward the rock, and assess the youkai hanging around there.
>"Oy. You lot. Come over here for a bit."
>Sigh.
>"I'm not going to do anything, geez."
>"You guys must sure like being homeless from floods. Well, whatever. Guess I'll just have to waste more time before I can deal with it."
>Head back toward the mansion, but do keep an ear out in case one of them changes their mind.
>"Hey, Meiling. You're pretty strong, right? Think you can move a boulder?"
>Close in and ask again.
>"Okay. Because what I need for you to is to go move one, and then use it to plug up a hole in the bottom of a flood lake."
>"Nice. Thanks Meiling. Let me show you where I'm talking about."
>Make with the leading once she's ready.
>"Inside? You mean the mansion?"
>"Well, Flandre broke a couple toys and we being a brat about it. I managed to get Alice to work on them, though, so that went well. Patchouli is the same as always. Remilia's trying to play piano. I guess Sayuka and Yuuka are out in the garden? I don't know."
>Do we know or care what kind of youkai Meiling is?
>"I imagine it'll be a short-lived peace."
> "So what do you think about all this flooding? Seen anything more weird than usual?"
> "... The who? The what? The huh?"
> What is this "God of Calamity" and what is she on about giant silhouettes?
>Do we remember that at all?
> "Oh, you mean that puppet of the Moriya's that got into a brawl with Suika? Or are you talking about that Daidarabotchi that fairy was screaming about to everyone?"
> "If people were in trouble then I would have had words with those mountain gods. Seemed like it kind of solved itself, though. How did you miss a giant oni throwing down with that puppet? That was pretty huge."
> And we're... translocating?
> "Yeah. We need to plug up that hole-" Gesture at where the hole is, "so the underground isn't in as big of trouble. It really shouldn't affect us up here if it's plugged up, but those guys could use the help. How many more people do you need? Looks pretty big for you."
> Hopefully she'll take that as baiting and do it herself so we don't have to fly around getting more people.
> Give her a low whistle. "Not bad. Need me to guide you over there, then?"
> Let's do that, then, warning her when she'll be getting in water and making sure youkai don't bug her.
>"You're getting there! See where the whirlpool is?"
>Just wait and hope. With luck, there's no fish types around there.
>Fly down there to help stabilize her and keep her afloat
>"Good work, Meiling. I owe you one."
> "Perfect. You stopped it up completely."
>"So, um, is there anything I can do for you in the long term? That was kind of a lifesaver you just did for me."
>Ugh... morning work.
>"Well, sure, if that's what you want."
> "Why so happy? Sakuya doesn't join you for stretches?"
> Start making movements back towards the mansion.
> Do we know when it iis?
> "What about Patchouli? She looks like the type that could use some exercise."
>"Just get her familiar to do it."
>"Sure she is. Who better to pelt her with guilting and snark?"
>"Plugging up a draining lake."
>"And I'm gonna go. Thanks again for the help!"
> Unless there's something else we need to do up here, let's make tracks back to the underground in order to see how well the plug worked, and get working on that "lucid dreaming" business. Plus, evening meal or something made by Satori.
>Can we get there by way of the place where the Taoists were last seen?
>How long would hitting the mountains take?
>Eh. They can get their zombert later. Back underground!
>Have a quick look around, how are things doing in Oniton?
>Do we see any familiar faces hereabouts?
>Lower ourself a bit and have a closer look while making way toward the Palace
>Head on inside like we own the place.
>"Hey Orin, everything still good here?"
>"That doesn't sound good, but I managed to plug up the emergency exit hole, so hopefully it'll drain."
>"No one was hurt, was there?"
> "So where're the others?"
> "Thanks. Don't wear yourself out, okay?"
> Let us enture forth and find Satori.
> Casually walk behind Satori and put our hands on her shoulders. "Hey. Sorry about the burst wall."
> Looks like we were just in time with that tunnel! Phew.
> Wait... shouldn't the water have finished draining by this point?
> Quell those doubts and maintain composure while we tell Satori what we really hope is good news.
> "Yep. Hardest part was just finding the place. So, tell me if my idea's crazy."
> Think about what Yuuka told us about the flower and the stuff Patchouli told us about lucid dreaming and our idea to control our dreams using Koishi.
> "It's the best idea I've got. I don't know anyone that can do anything about dreams. Except maybe that fluffy winged person, but I haven't seen whatsherface in... well, years."
> "Well, I don't know of anybody whose power does work like that. At least Koishi's comes close. Speaking of which, where'd she run off to?"
> Look around the garden, then crouch down a bit and give Satori a firm hug. Her garden just got flooded despite everybody's help. The least we can do is express our concern and sympathy.
> "...Sorry I didn't plug the hole in time, Satori."
> "Yeah, well..." Enjoy the hug for a bit.
> "So, um, what do you think about..." Koishi meeting with FLandre.
> So she's okay with it? Flandre can be a bit... rough. Koishi's a tough girl, but still.
>Ponder how bad the reactor got flooded.
>No comment from Satori, huh?
>"Well, at least Okuu's probably less miserable."
>"It'll be a nice surprise for her to wake up to."
> We haven't heard anything about Kanako, aside from her going poof from the lack of faith, but she's on a laundry list of missing persons.
> Has there been any change in Sanae's condition?
> And is our dolphin friend still doing okay? She went through a lot coming down here.
> Oh, right, we still have Koishi's book. Tottaly not soaked or anything.
> Nothing up this sleeve... except a book! "I'm thinking a strong, feminine name... except it would be embarrassing to call her 'Reimu'. So, dunno. Porpy, or Dandelion, or something silly like Sango I guess. I'm surprised that Koishi hasn't jumped at the chance to name her. Or ride her."
> As usual, then? Now's not exactly a time for hide and seek.
> "So where's her usual hiding spots, then?"
>"So, do you know anything about that lucid dreaming thing?"
>"That's something. I thought Patchouli was making it up, to be honest."
>"Oh, you keep one?"
>"But you see, Satori. You're dreaming right now."
>Remove own heart and reveal it is a pigeon to demonstrate.
