Re-reading last year's thread, I saw that Pesco ALSO got a Tsukihime DVD from his SS and now I feel 50% less clever.

So it's about noon on the 28th and there's a knock at the door. I figure it's another package I ordered to fulfill someone's pre-Comiket request but suddenly pasuhead.

I reach inside and find an envelope with a very cool design:

And inside is the following:

AW YEAH SANTA TENGU REALLY DOES EXIST

However, she wouldn't last 30 minutes in Teufort like that so...

SAY GOODBYE TO YER KNEECAPS, CHUCKLEHEAD!

So thank you very much, Pasu! It's incredible! I don't even care that it was late (too much)

Seconding this. End result: everyone owns a copy, reboot impending.

GASP Christmas time. I havn't heard from my present at all. Guess it will come late this year, but then. My mother hands me a large box which I hadn't noticed. My Secret Cirno gift did arrive and I was about to open it in front of my entire family. With due caution I peer inside. Well there's definitely a magazine in there. Lets get this pieces of cardstock out first. They are...

Touhous. Little Perler Bead Touhous. Nice. I can hang these up in my room to increase my swag level.

Next a slip of paper. A Merry Christmas card no doubt... but... NO its way better.

CONTENT. Well, the promise of content, anyway. I know exactly how I want to use this. Cathy, can you write something about Tenshi that doesn't portray her as a masochist? I would be more specific but that's pretty much it.

Alright, I prepare myself for the worst...

AHHH MY GOD. This magazine exists. Megami, I have never heard of this magazine, I can recognized exactly 2 japanese letters, lets go.
I wade through page after page of bug eyes, soft core porn, and merchandizing and I just let it wash all over me. I am immersed in this culture of watching ambiguously aged girls go about their lives and I'm loving every second of it. Did you know that someone probably wrote all of this. That is amazing. Suddenly page 103 has Galaxy Angels on it. Hey Vic, look, Galaxy Angels! Then on page 107 there's a girl in a really cool dress with a zipper running down the side. Finally page 130 has touhou on it, and the irony of my life is completely ignored. Oh what an adventure. In particularly I love how the posters are organized so that each poster has, by and large, one risque and one safe picture on it. That's very smartly done.

Thank you (maybe) Cathy. This gift made me absolutely giddy with excitement.

Also, thank you Vic for hosting this game for another year. Twice now did it just do me a world of good.

On a serious note. What did happen to all the people who haven't responded yet? At least let us know you're alive, didn't receive anything, unable to open it because family, friends, neet life, dogs, cats and such.

Also Vic, you really need to get that list going imo.

Because Vic is lazy, list++. Everybody marked green has posted their reports. The others did not post their report yet (even if some confirmed having it or not). Because I know Hakurei is having flood issues, TSO RL issues and Amra said he would post today somewhere. So either way:

Also Vic, you really need to get that list going imo.
I've got the list open here in my Official CPSS Text File but you seem to forget that it's a SECRET!!!!

Given how long some of these international shipments are taking (the only ones still waiting on packages are international peeps), I'm shortening that deadline next year and also PROBATIONS for people who miss deadlines.

If you haven't received your package by 1/1 PM me and I'll send your tracking number.  BANS coming the following week.

I don't even care that it was late (too much)

I bet I got one of you slackers who didn't get your stuff out the door until tomorrow.
EHEHEHEHEHHEHEE It was kinda funny because I sent your package out just before reading this post (sorry about that, was managing mid-semester tests and boothing at a convention and also my birthday before the posting deadline OTL)  but I'm glad you like Scout Aya!

Fun fact: I had decided to make the Holy Mackerel and Baker Boy because they were my personal favourites, and I asked some tf2 buffs I knew on which shotgun to make (scattergun was suggested) and when I went to your steam profile to poke around for fun I found out they were also the items you'd renamed! A happy coincidence!
My main gift was late but they did gift me a copy of Cherry Tree High Comedy Club over Steam so I'd have SOMEthing to do on Christmas. :V

I picked that because 1) It was in your Steam wishlist 2) I knew a friend who played it and enjoyed it quite much (though he didn't finish it) did you erm try it though
Also the games you mentioned on twitter regarding flash sales you already had them by then eeehh

Also wow your hands are huge you make Aya look tinier than I remember  :o

--

My present arrived today! I was half asleep and then heard the doorbell good thing i love mail (rushed to the door)

Without further ado, photos!

naegi (my christmas present to myself) is very excited. He defends the addresses and names on the box from prying eyes!

An attempt to divulge the box's secrets is made with the Scissor Blade. It does not succeed.

We turn to the other half of the Scissor Blade for assistance. What's that you say? It's just a pair of regular blue scissors? Pish posh!

PUFFY PACKING MATERIAL!!!!111

naegi stop that

s t o p

TIME OUT! Sit in that box a while, I'll check out my gifts.

Let's see...

- a FSN gag anthology (in japanese)
- a hameru keychain
- a copy of Ghostly Field Club
- a....n Ayaplane keychain! (It's named 'Low Angular Aya-chan' but that's what my friends and I call this keychain)

And last but not least...

A letter from my not-so-secret-santa! AAAAAAH M-MY SOLDIER REIMU IS DOING FINE, GREAT EVEN ;_;;;; s-she even got a majestic steed, I'm so proud...

Thanks EP! Hope you've had a great Christmas and holiday too!

Also for those waiting for their packages: this package was shipped on the 11th with International Priority (supposedly 10 days quoted on the website) and it took more than 2 weeks to reach me so erm don't give up on waiting ;_;b

i should probably get to changing my sig but im too lazy

to my recipent, im so sorry the package hasnt arrived yet ;_; around 3 days after i sent it out the post office told me it already arrived in the country of destination...... and they told me it would normally take a week or so and yeah...................its been 2

so i got my box the day or two before christmas but erm yes..sorry i got erm preoccupied with celebratory happenings...anyways the parcel came while pasu was knocked out and i was at work, so she went to the post office to fetch it... and around the same time my scissor-blade(TM) arrived SO I USED IT AS THE PERFECT CUTTING TOOL TO OPEN THE BOX ON THE FATED DAY ITSELF (there's red string on it because then even i wil win at tennis)

So this box came from japan and there's like only 2 people i know in motk that actually live there, and so i cross checked with the boxes from forza's
as suspected the addresses didn't match, so clearly there was only one person left-
P.S. the blade is actually not sharp to my disdain, but the tip edge is..edgy!!!!

after the first incision i took a peek under the cardboard flaps, and saw something that was like....made with that material you make tote bags with.....whatever you call it SWEATING INTENSIFIES

but then it turned into confusion because the first thing i(and my sentry) noticed was

a suspicious item with japanese text all over, with a sticky...

upon flipping it sentry-kun engaged into attack-mode and i had to stop it before it destroyed my bizzare cpss present

hi-res for zooming into RYUKO KYAAAAAA
Right at this part the confusion turned into fangirling because i cant believe the sender actually fufiled my dumb wishes ;_;
So for 2hu i got 3 artbooks(!!) and a doujin by chihiro(!!!!!!!) which goes well with my elemental 8 anthology...also that reimu totebag which me and pasu suspect is from vitamin rice, and also that v. cute coaster and cup(IS IT BY アリヌ?kjskfjekcksdvhr)

For kancolle i got like an akagi and RJ keychain and muh waifu tenryuu strap, complete with damaged pose e..h....
And then KLK wise i got MAI WAIFU X2 NGRJHE DONT LOSE YOUR WAY a clearfile and keychain ryuko everywhere ryuko is love ryuko is life

Lastly was the postcard included in the box which made me think it was all along a farce that the sender was not from japan because this was clearly a production of anti-capitalism!!!

but anyway on the other side my suspicions was confirmed on who the sender was:

Thank you so much, Nietz!!! but i have 2 pressing questions:

1 Why is there a chop of your profile picture LIKE I DONT EVEN-
2 do you possibly know what the QR code on the back of the akagi keychain is for, i scanned it with a app and found only text :V

Just a reminder that the Christmas holiday ends long after Christmas Day - on January 6, to be exact, in both the Western and Eastern church. From that point on, we enter :toot:~*:CARNIVAL!:toot:~*, which ends on :toot:~*MARDI GRAS!:toot:~* which leads right into Christian Ramadan! which ends on Easter.

So if we want to get all canonical about it, technically "Christmas" ends in six days. We can always tweet the Pope if need be.

"Human history and growth are both linked closely to strife. Without conflict, humanity would have no impetus for growth. When humans are satisfied with their present condition, they may as well give up on life."
