Pretty much, I was saying it didn't matter that he was in RSA, he still sent the gift through Canada and fried my brains. Now he's in Singapore, and will find another way to burn neurons with his rabbit laser.

Hey Vic I'll send you that package sent notice one of these days. Probably on one of the days that I don't fall asleep immediately after dinner while cursing my commute.

YJ will post for me when mine arrives. Though I'm not sure how I'll even get it from him in time to do the whole opening and stuff. Maybe he can drop it off for me at work.

UGH, it looks like I'll have to phone it in this year... That's not to say the present will be back, just it won't be as good. Now I'm sad.

Mind you, there is no such instruction for posting 'package received' anywhere in the first post. Unless you're pointing at the post on Christmas day, I am aware of that.

I thought you weren't supposed to post when you sent your stuff because it made it easier to guess who sent it.

That is what I was also concerned about. I thought you were suppose to be quiet about it all in general. A few pages ago I did made a minor error in the same sense after realising it not long ago.

Edit:
Wait, did Jana edit out the Imgur reddit christmas with the plush Shark and such? It had nothing to do with MotK you know :V

People could just be smart about when they post that they've sent. The postage date on my present last year gave me an impossible selection of senders based on the time of the posts. Edible waited a few days later to say that he had sent.

True. Also, in all fairness, peeking on the shipping documents can easily spoil the Secret Santa  :ohdear:. If you know what I mean.

Sometimes there's just no way around it.  MJP got a box from Iceland last year, the list of possible senders was pretty low at that point  :V

On the other hand, people can get pretty clever when it comes to not spoiling on the customs declaration form so you don't even always have that  :o

I can imagine people sending to US VON A, have  to write the truth in order to avoid their package from being ripped and run through 400 X-rays, ending up in arresting the receiver.

You gotta write NOT HARDCORE LOLICON on the form AND package to make sure they know they don't have to check it.

Canada will confiscate your packages if it has loli stuff in it.  I don't think the US does (since it's not illegal in the US... yet)

But just to be sure, Forza's recommendation is solid!

Well tbf it wasn't wrong :derp:

Better than every time I buy something from China, I mean. Once bought $60 worth of electronic components, the declaration said '$5 - DIY parts'

Yeah I'm 99%+ certain on mine from return address alone.

Unless something freaky happens and I get either my sendee from last year or the one who sent to me last year(or one of the obvious ones like an Icelandic package), I'll probably have no idea who sent my item anyway, so it won't matter!  I'll need to check the address anyway to know when the package arrives, so I can't really reasonably avoid it.  Hopefully my partner made the return name something indicative~!

Okay... I'm not sure if what I just received was from my Secret Santa or not; due to it not being wrapped. I won't post any pictures, or say what it is, until the 25th just in case; but yeah, it completely confused me...

And Puppy for that matter; who thought I had been ordering stuff~ :V
