Nah, thats not the problem. The remix almost doesn't resemble Hartmanns Youkai Girl at all except for that piano part.
Oh and i won't be too quick to pass judgment on Demetori yet. I've only heard a few of their songs. Granted, i didn't like them at all and it butchered the songs remixed for me but i'll give them a second chance before i write them on my blacklist.

That was actually pretty terrible until 1:47. I would have killed the song before then if I wasn't doing nothing.

The beginning is bad, but the middle is ok. I didn't listen to the whole song though.
