How to I quote a part of a sentence?

What are the different steps I need to do to quote a sentence?

What are the different I need to do to quote a sentence?

Press the quote button, then delete whatever parts you don't want to quote.

If you're already on the Post Reply page, you can click "insert quote" below the post box next to the post you want to quote.

- What I wanted to know is how to quote a part of a sentence and then be able to write my message just below it without it appears in the quote message!
