I can't say Demopan, since you don't seem to have played long enough for some of the (promo) items needed for that.

We used to have a TNT death message saying '<player> isn't a good Demoman', actually, back on the PTM'd map.

Doesn't affect me too much (though I was the test subject for said message), since I generally do leagues better with Demoknight-style play.

EDIT: Another funny idea - for a new Anarchy world, I'd suggest blacking out the sun by putting bedrock on layer 128 for the wide area.

hmmmmmmmmm.......I have a thought, aside from the office, which will always be cool. (I REALLY should make myself just one house instead of having 20)
Should we have our own  texture pack so that everyone sees everything the same way if they choose to download it? Thay way theirs no mixups, like in one persons texture pack clay is brown while in the origonal it is obviously gray. Also wed be able to have paintings have our own selected look, like touhou chatacters instead of creeper faces.

Nah. Everyone should be able to customize their own look for Minecraft. Some people might be playing the game with custom packs that have a higher resolution. Some people choose to remain with default "because that's the way that the game was originally designed". No need to force them into playing with a uniform texture pack.

Build what you want to build. That's what the game is all about. I, myself, prefer to have one or two bases in the world, specifically as a place to store my crap. After that, I look toward building things that are more artistic. Also, there are projects that serve a functional purpose, like the Sheep Dispenser or Mob Grinders.

Try to think outside the same old "homes and bases" routine. The game really opens up at that point.

That's a good idea. I'd use one of your 25-odd houses for a headquarters of sorts and move all items over there. The rest are either decorative or as locational sites.

Well, this is odd. Yes, the server did crash, but I cannot log into the network to restart MCMA. I get the following PuTTY error: "Server unexpectedly closed network connection."

Maybe the computer itself crashed or is being rebooted? I'll try again after a little while to see if it corrects itself. I'll let you know what I find out.

EDIT- Server's back up. I guess it restarted or had a power surge. It booted Minecraft before I could give it the command to do so.

Not sure when we'll be doing the update for the server... I'll leave that to Stuffman's jurisdiction.

Now that it's officially launched, I guess I'll make another backup.

EDIT- I decided to check out 1.8 myself.. We're definitely going to need to generate a new map for all of the goodies. Hopefully, Notch will release a patch that will generate other biomes (especially snow) relatively quickly. I don't really want to wait until 1.9..... but we'll see.
