>Of course, she wouldn't. But to entertain the counterfactual, you are not above objecting to orders that seem unreasonable, and Remilia is not above hearing your concerns. You are confident either she would convince you why such a thing cannot be avoided, or she would see reason. You cannot imagine a lasting stalemate.
>Guests who are always welcome include Reimu, Keine, Reisen, Eirin, Kaguya, The Yama, Lord Tenma, Kanako, Suwako, Satori, and Miko. Shinmyoumaru may be on this list as well, it is yet to be settled. Marisa is unofficially on this list as well, largely because she is persistent and Patchouli hasn't bothered to try to run her off since...oh you don't even remember anymore.

>Variable. If you have a well-trained team, and the aren't particularly bouncy or whatnot that day, you can trust them to clean a guest room or drawing room or hallway without expecting any issues. This covers a fair deal of the mansion, really.  The dining rooms ought to be safe as well. The kitchen you'll want to at least peek in periodically, but they are there enough you can trust them. More specialized places, such as the music room or the library, you would need to be in the neighboring room. The galleries, you would not dream of letting them in there on their own.

You luck out and find some leftover sesame cakes in a small container; perhaps one of the maids was trying to hide this? Either way, they seem to be reasonably fresh, and at least smell like they are correctly made.

>The tea is prepared, so it's easy enough to plate everything. Then you make your way out of the kitchen, down the corridor, and to the front halls. The theme that mistress favors currently is tapestries, so the front hall is currently adorned with many of those, taken from the galleries and some of the guest chambers. They are almost universally western, going through a variety of styles, some abstract, some childishly cruel, some surprisingly realistic, depicting events and people that hold no meaning to you. Others show foreign vistas with curious trees and odd plants. You pay them little mind as you head through the stout wooden doors leading outside.
>Outside, the early spring air is pleasantly warm. The grass has already greened, and the trees are starting to sprout. Meiling did have a tangle with that spring faerie just a couple days ago. You make your way down the cobblestone path, past the unused fountain and the pathway to the statue garden, and toward the gates. Meiling stands outside the gate, leaning against it. She glances back as you approach. "Oh, hey there!" she calls, as she turns and opens the gate. "Going somewhere?"
