I've sent you a message with a proposal for Scenario B

Feel kind of pushy though how I'm writing scripts for the third mod now. :V

Just so you know;
the Alphes' style portrait art by kaoru can be downloaded here. The're transparent. Just scroll down for the appropriate character.

She looks kinda silly in a sailor suit, really. There's probably better portraits you could have chosen.
Kilga is this right; like is this person seriously the player, and it's not some alias or something that's designed to be deliberately obfuscating? NekoNekoRex. Who the hell is that :C   ~Poya Aaaa (Serela), Bunny Must Die Mafia

That's no sailor suit, that's her outfit from HRtP~
In Kaoru's original portrait, she was holding 2 blades.

I'll probably re-edit the faces to fit the sprite.
Thanks~

EDIT: The SoEW Mima here doesn't have a full-body shot, so I'll just keep using the HRtP Mima

It doesn't match well with the in-game sprite you're using, though.

Yeah, I know.
But there's no full-body portrait for the SoEW Mima, so I'm using that one.

I'm planning to make Mima playable on all games starting from Touhou 6 (Shooting Games, ofc)
I've already started working on TD Mima, sprites and faces done.
Shot B dialogue for DDC Mima will be worked on after Nmlgc and the others work on a patcher problem.

Heads up~
I'm almost done with the DDC Mima, Shot B dialogue left.
Also, there's a problem with thcrap that will be fixed in the latest build.
After downloading the latest build (which will not be released yet, but soon), you can now see Mima's dialogue!

Again, to use the mod, select your language first in the config (ex: lang_en), then "mima"

Then I'd suggest to look here for some ZUN styled portraits. I'm sure you'll have to ask them first, though.

I don't know Japanese, though, so the Kaoru portraits should do for now

So, I've played the A route now and it looks really nice.
No crashes, no cutoffs (I suppose. I finally got around to properly updating my patcher only after this so I've played with the too large text but it looked like everything would fit with the new font size).

Buuut, there are no blue flames. D: I was so excited about these +5 damage to light units

I also like the Mima-Hijack loading screen.

The blue flames?
Lemme see~

Oh, also, about the shot A dialogue...
I put them in msg files, but Nazeo told me to put it in jdiff.
I'll fix that so everybody can now read the dialogue~

This Is Really Nice. Hooray for PC-98 characters!
Where did you get that character description background?
Also, do you know where can i get a Koishi Player Sprite? I swear I saw one a long time ago...  :derp:

There's a textless template at thpatch.net
I dunno where I can find a Koishi one, but here's a thread for Player Scripts~

Okay, Dialogue for Shot A is now readable.
Working on Shot B.

Blue flames fixed (courtesy of Nmlgc)

EDIT: There's something wrong with my dialogue, so no dialogue for now

Okay, Shot A Stage 1 - 3 dialogue fixed.
They can be readable now.
The problem is, whenever I use my dialogue for Stage 4 - 6, the game crashes.
So the only available dialogue for now is Stage 1 - 3 Shot A

EDIT: All dialogue for Shot A now readable!

One Of The Most Unimportant Thing Since I Skip ALL Of Them

And I'm done with the Shot B dialogue for Main Story and Extra!
I should work on TD Mima now, but I can't find someone who can edit the image description of Marisa...
I'm not gonna alter the endings, though.

DDC is done!

I've tested the A route and everything seems to be functional.
I thought I took out the heart I've put in the stage 5 pre battle dialogue. Didn't even know that you could put hearts into the dialogues...
I just had some hearts here and there in the text because they amused me and reminded me of PC-98. :V
But that's alright. That singular one in all the dialogues has a neat effect I'd say.

And the flames of B type are also positively blue now.

But a minor thing: The spellcard names seem to be broken, showing up only as a version of 2 Kanji of which there are two or three. But this is negligible I think.

And about the image description thing: Is that about the character select screen?

Did you apply the English Patch and the Mima Patch?
(Choose "lang_en", then "mima". It has to be in this order.)

Yeah, in Shot B, there's still the heart that you put in~
The flames are Shot A~

Yes.
As you can see in the preview pic for TD, it's not edited yet.

Ah, that fixed it. Sort of forgot adding the English part.

Ran Yakumo already made mods for TD, so asking him/her might help.

(But didn't you already edit Marisa's character select portrait for the Yuuka mod or am I hallucinating?)

Ran Yakumo didn't edit the description background, but used another one/edited above it.

(Yes, I did it for Yuuka, but I lost the template over the months, unfortunately. And I can't edit it perfectly anymore ;w;)

Anyway, update your patcher, guys!
5-28 is out!
