> Shit, no time!
> "Cover your ears!"
> Crank the volume and scream into the loudspeaker!

>You crank the volume, hit the speaker button, and vent your terror and frustrations into a a single shriek that leaves your throat feeling raw. The louder rings and ververates with your voice, immediately distorting with feedback and static. But for a moment, all you can hear is amplified, butched sound of your voice. The wind outside dies instantly, settling the boat to rocking.
>Then the music picks up again, and you can hear the wind stir, but nowhere near tis former strength. You can also see Caster outside, near front of the boat, and Archer assaulting him with fury, sending kicks and stabs his way, and forcing his back to the left side of the boat. Without the wind and sand, he cannot hold her back nearly so effectively, and focused on dodging, his music seems to be suffering.

>You struggle to get your phone ready, selecting some terrible music that is sure to antagonize Caster even more. It blares out the loudspeaker, but coming from a artificial source it does not play too clearly, nor gain quite the volume that your shriek from before did. Still, it is enough to at least to kind of distort and muffle what you're hearing.
>Attempting to draw mana, you can feel that it kind of works, but it doesn't feel wholly reliable or as efficient as it should be.

>That's an interesting question.
>There might be a radio in the dashboard somewhere, but at a glance you can't find it. You don't think there is one wired to the loudspeaker, at least.

> "I need a moment, but when you're ready I can try screaming again to give you an opening!"

>You steady yourself. This is good time, as you feel another blow slam into your abdomen. It's not quite so bad as the last few, but being braced does a lot for it.
>You can see Archer stagger as well; she clearly took it worse, but not enough to really stop her. Caster takes this moment to go on the offensive, suddenly swiping his guitar toward her face. She backs off, and it's enough to give him a little more room before she resumes her offensive.
>"I'll say go..." Archer sends. "I think I figured it out..."

>You take a deep breath. Moments pass. Archer seems to be playing defensive now. Caster takes advantage of this, but he seems less interested in harming her so much as he does pushing her back.
>"Now!"

> Scream into the loudspeaker as loud and as long as our little lungs will allow.

>You shriek as passionately as you can! As you do, Archer levels a kick at him as he draws his hand down the neck of his guitar. It connects, sending him staggering! She wastes little time, following through with a knife toward his chest. He moves, but then you see that her target wasn't his chest, but rather his guitar strap, neatly severing it. It falls, his grip is ruined and his song as he grabs it with his right hand. She follows with another kick, this one to his legs, then stabs deeply into his chest!

>"Good thing is, burning charcoal isn't too hard," says Archer, taking a deep breath. "I'm going to have to take it easy tonight."
>Caster is currently laying on the deck of the boat, bleeding. His eyes are glassy, and he is becoming translucent.
