> Continue to town!

>You head toward town. Frankly, you're happy for the fact that days are about as long as they can be at this time of year, you'll be happy to give your poor feet a rest. Getting there when you do, things are surprisingly low key for the time of day, there's activity and such, but not quite what you'd expect compared to home. Presumably a lot of the vacationers must be turning in early, or just not wanting to risk the possibility of rain. It's fairly dark for this time of day, too, thanks to the cloud cover.
>"Still can't tell if it's going to rain or not," Archer grumbles as you make your way into the main drag, not terribly far from the restaurant that Archer won't tolerate...

>"I could deliver a message with an arrow through the window," Archer says. "I doubt they'd like it, but I could."
>Checking your map, most of area around the motel is fairly open. The highway is divided, putting some distance between the left and right sides od the road. However, there is a car repair lot next to the motel, with a slatted chain link fence fairly close to the side that the Master is residing. Noticing what you are doing, Archer points out she observed from the top of a burger king across from the repair lot.

> Notice a green area on the map nearby, zoom in!
> It's an open field with one tree. "Damnit."
> "This is a pretty lousy place to engage, honestly. If we're able to lead them it'd probably be best to go through this little patch of trees behind Crabby Dick's (ugh) and around the edge of the residential area, I think..."
> "There's a nature area over here, by the stream, but we'd have to go through a big open field and a parking lot to get to it, so it would be obvious what we were doing."

>Archer nods. "It's a good idea. There is some advantage to the open areas, though. There's less cover for them, too. If it's Assassin, though, he would thrive in the trees about as much as I do, though. So leading them may be easier."

>You let the minutes pass as your feet stop protesting. The crowds clear out more and more as the minutes tick by. Eventually, you feel up to walking again, and head toward the Motel.
>"There's a light on in their room," says Archer.

>The best you have is a telephone pole between the motel and Crabby Dick's. You dck behind it, but you doubt it's sufficient cover at all.

>Despite her grumbling, nothing seems to happen and she returns intact. "I don't know if there's any protection spells in there, but if there were it wasn't overt."
