I've never liked it, it just looks kinda lazy.

When I do comics, I use a different font like AnimeAce or something.

Meiryo or Book Antiqua for translations ftw

Anime Ace, actually. Though, depends on the editor; last time I edited a doujin for Voile, I used Chronicles of a Hero for the dialogue (and Feltpen for the sfx). :3
