>She'd be interesting to play poker with.
>"I see. Well, just thought I'd ask."

>You'd place better odds on her winning a bluff than most people you've met.
>Sekibanki nods silently.

I think I'll hold off on this line of questioning. Just in case. We can ask the werepuppy later.

>"Right. Back to the business at hand."
>Tick items off on our hands, "One large canteen, ration kits... Hm."
>Do we feel we need all those ration kits, or merely some of them?

Take 'em all. Better to have them then not have them, and now is not the time to be stingy.

It's instinctive. I'm about the stingiest bastard you'll ever meet, when it comes to playing games. Be it RPGs or otherwise.

>The brunette looks at you expectantly, and a little impatiently.

>Do we feel we need all those ration kits, or merely some of them?

>You don't know precisely how much they contain, but even if you could make do with less, the quantity assembled here doesn't look excessive.

>Patience is a virtue, soldier girl. Wait for it.
>"Just doing some math."
>Finish ticking off what we need, then pay off the antsy trooper.

>You mentally admonish the woman you assume to be either the quartermaster or someone in their employ, then finish surveying the items and hand over the appropriate money to pay for them. She accepts it with little comment, and no love lost, for whatever reason.
>You acquire additional traveling rations, a black cloak, and a large canteen. You now have 273 guilders.

>"You can take the other stuff and put it back," Sekibanki says to the woman, who grabs the extra cloak and canteen off the counter and marches towards the rear with a curt acknowledgement. The captain turns back to you. "Does that about cover it, then?"

I think that covers about everything I had to ask her about. She might know more about Kagerou, but I don't fancy our chances of getting it out of her. Rest of y'all good?

>"Besides, anything else that needs to be covered can come up in the next thread."

>Sekibanki shrugs.

>"Actually, can I get a military bow like yours, commander?"

>"It's standard issue," she says, reaching a hand back and giving it a tug. "50 guilders."
>Then as she pulls the fabric free, her head rolls off the side of her shoulders and drops towards the ground.
>"Oh, dangit," complains the falling noggin. "I forgot how that was tied..."
