Reisen Quest: A Z-Machine Adventure

>You watch Mystia prepare a bed of rice, then pluck some meat from a nearby pile of snow, slather some spices on it, and rolls it together with an expert motion. She gives it to Letty. Letty takes it and bites into it with a grateful-sounding grunt. The meat is frozen enough you can hear her chewing through it.
>"Oh sure," says Mystia. "I have some lamprey left over. Don't worry about the charge, since you helped out Letty before." She produces some more meat from under the counter and wraps it up for you.

>"Oh, I was with some rabbit and Hina. And..." she frowns, and furrows her brow. "I think there was someone else hanging around later? I can't remember very well."

>Letty nods, "Yeah, her. Rumia. She came later, that rabbit was buying, so she got some juice."
>"I met her out in the forest, near that crossroad leading toward your Bamboo Forest." Letty pauses for a bit. "No...I don't think she ever told me her name. She said she was from Eientei, though. Now that I think about it, she didn't say a whole lot about herself at all. She just talked with me, while I told her about what I do, and about the little things about winter most people don't know, and things like that." Another pause. "...I think I probably said some mean, stupid things too. Ugh."

And then you tried to wake me up."

>You suspect there are a few of that description. Looking around, you confirm this is the case. You find one in the kitchens, where work on lunch truly begun. You recognize her as Sasha, she's often doing kitchen work and tends to get into arguments.
>There is another matching that description sweeping the halls outside of the master bedrooms in the northeast wing, you don't immediately recognize her.
>A third rabbit matching that description in the baths, chattering away with a few other rabbits. You don't recognize her either. You also confirm that Kaguya is there. She's washing her hair, so she'll be there awhile if you need to talk with her.
>A fourth rabbit matching that description is one of the dorms, playing cards with Tewi. You recognize her as Miyu, she's always making excuses to skip work when there are musicians around and go dancing.
>In the end, red eyes are pretty common among rabbits, as are slender builds. You're not too surprised to find this many suspects.

>You head west again, back into the Bamboo Forest, and work your way south.
>You come to a clearing. A lone wooden house sits upon the bare earth, scorched to prevent bamboo from sprouting near it. There is no snow on the ground here, nor on top of the house. It is a rather simple-looking home, putting you in the mind of a lumberjack's house. You can see a great deal of dried bamboo went into its construction, along with other kinds of wood. There is a door on the northern part of the house. In the back, you can see an empty garden; you know from experience that it would have to be carefully maintained to keep the bamboo from getting into it. Obvious exits are North and South.
