>"Well, I WAS worried... and acting up rather a lot, admittedly."
>sigh
>"Sorry. But I guess that means it wasn't a note from some other 'M' trying to bribe her with pie."
>"Come to think of it, Meiling mentioned seeing you pass by the mansion earlier today? May I ask what that was about?"
>develop intense emotional attachment to randomly selected Currency Unit in inventory

>"Eh, fair enough."
>"I was just lookin' for something."
>You pick a favorite coin.

> Mukyu (we've yet to see Mokou's reaction, after all)

>You know how she's going to react. She's going to react just like everyone else. And if you keep doing it, you'll never ever live it down. Especially if someone tells that damn maid!

>long-distance koageddan

>She is on vacation and that would violate the spirit of the contract between the two of you. And if you start violating the spirt, she'll start doing it too. And that would not be good for your library, even if you can stomp her into the dirt afterwards.

>You Mukyu, and Mokou gives you a look.
>"Huh? I'll keep an eye out for it," she says, "But I'll tell you straight, it's not going to be worth losing sleep over. If you lose something out here, well...it's pretty much gone unless you get lucky. I'll let you know if I find it, though."

> Fall to your knees, and scream MARIAAAAAA! TEWIIIIIII!
> If you hear laughter, follow it.
> Otherwise, continue to Eientei

>You don't hear any laughter, but in retrospect that may well be what happened. Mokou certainly does not seem to think any less of you for this reaction.
>You continue on toward the direction that Mokou indicated, taking note of the rocks so that you can find your way back.
>You come to an elegant, single-story manor house, surrounded by a wall of treated bamboo. The whole place has a timeless quality to it that you cannot put down to any single thing. Reisen seems to be working on the door. Obvious exits are West and East.

>You look away from Reisen, and the world becomes a lot less freaky. You breathe a sigh of relief. Reisen has some nice shoes.
>You don't see any signs of Tewi.
>"Wriggle?" Reisen asks, "I've not seen her for awhile, sorry."
>"Cirno's performing inside," she says.
>You thrust the list at Reisen, whilst studying her shoes. "If you want to talk about Bamboo Flowers, you probably want to talk with Master or the Princess. You can go right in."
> Reisen says, "Tewi is out right now, probably off scamming some farmers or something."
>"I don't see Keine very often, I'm afraid."
>You go west!
>You come to a simple, elegantly designed hallway that intersects with another of similar design. The walls here are laquered wood painted over with scenes of trees in full bloom. It is surprisingly and refreshingly cool in here! Up ahead, you can hear some rather discordant violin music, and voices you can't quite make out. Obvious exits are North, South, East, and West.

> Head towards music.
> Shiver at the thought of those eyes.

>Those eyes! Agh! They just freak you out so much!
>You head toward the music. You quickly realize that you'll need to spell that with quotation marks, because it is pretty horrible.
>You enter an open courtyard. The sun beats down from above, but it is still refreshingly cool here. A stage has been set in the middle of the courtyard, amidst leafless cherry trees, where Cirno and Lunasa are presently performing. Cirno seems to be attempting some hip-hop, but she has no flow at all and mostly she is just repeating "What!", "What's up!", and "Yeah!". Regardless, she seems to be enjoying herself, which is more than that can be said for Lunasa, who looks somewhere between mortified and bored stiff while playing a simple and highly repetitive turn. There are bunnies everywhere here, as well as Kaguya, who all seem to be mostly ignoring the show. Murasa sits at a table, enjoying a beverage. You sense a barrier overhead, which probably serves to keep the cool air in. Obvious exits are east and west.

> Vow not to mukyu until you leave the mansion
> Mukyu anyway

>You make a vow and break it just as quickly. Good thing you don't have any geases on you! Luckily, it doesn't seem anyone has heard you over Cirno's terrible rap.

>Oh god, not with this many people watching!
>Thankfully this isn't necessary. You are able to make your way in and attract Lunasa's attention easily enough, it's not as though she's actually busy. "Sorry," she says, "We have a gig."
>Cirno is too busy trying and failing to throw some rhymes to notice your attempts to slip her some hot sauce.

>Cirno is too busy to reply. Lunasa shakes her head and Murasa simply gives a gruff, "Never heard of him." Kaguya frowns, and looks toward the sky for a moment. "I am afraid that is the first time I have heard that name," she says. "But I cannot deny that it sounds very familiar..."
