>Ask if Alice has ice cream.
>If no, then ask to come in.

>"I'm afraid not," says Alice. "But please, come in."
>You enter Alice's home.
>The first thing you notice is that there are dolls everywhere, waving fans and creating a cacophony of breezes. It's still hot, but the flowing air takes much of the bite off of the weather. The house itself is rather simple and unadorned, but there are shelves full of non-animate dolls everywhere. As well, there are an abnormal number of doilies about, covering pretty much every surface. You are in what seems to be a combination of living room and dining room, with a small kitchen off to the side. Through an open door, you can see Alice's bedroom, which is dominated by a hand-powered sewing machine.

>"Marisa told me she'd return all of my books if I drank the entire lake. I don't have enough power to purify it by myself, though. I need your help."

>"She must have been hitting the sauce again," says Alice, chuckling. "I'm not very good at that kind of magic, myself. Maybe it would be easier to find something else to purify it with? And," she adds with a sidelong glance, "where are you going to find room for it all?"

>There is a seat at the table, it bears a doily, but it otherwise unremarkable.
>"Oh wow, you're really going to try for it?" says Alice as she sits across from you. "I can't tell you anything about sun shards or the destructor or bamboo flowers, but I can help out with the Eighth Force. It's the color no one can see. From everything I've been able to find, it is associated with some ancient power, but isn't everything these days? From what I recall, you can find it at a place where there are no shadows."
>A doll places a cup of ice tea in front of you.

>"Let me worry about where it's all going. What would you suggest for a purifier? My first thought is Yukari but that's Yukari. Do you think Eirin would have something?"

>Alice frowns. "I...wouldn't trust Yukari with something like that, if I were being completely honest. Eirin might well have something, too. Maybe Rinnosuke could help out?"

>Do you know Jeff K Anon?
>Cast all spells not actually appearing in this game.

>Alice shakes her head. "I don't meet too many people out here."
>Make me.

There are people in this world who enjoy being alone. But there isn't a single person who can bear solitude.

>"Hot Sauce?" asks Alice, "I didn't think you were into that." She makes a gesture toward one of the dolls, who flies toward the kitchen and returns with a bottle of Brigadier Scoville's HELL YES!! Sauce.

>You mix some of Brigadier Scoville's HELL YES!! Sauce with the Suspicious Chinese Beverage.
>You obtain Questionable Spicy Chinese Beverage!

> Bid Alice farewell and head to Mugenkan to search for sun shards.

>You bid Alice a good day and depart. Then you realize that you have no idea where that place would be.
>You stand at placid and isolated part of the lake shore. The path here is is not nearly so well worn or large as it was in front of the manor. To the east, you can see a small but well-maintained cabin; the doll has returned to flitting about the roof with a hammer and some nails, doing repairs. The path continues  northward and around the rest of the lake. Obvious exits are west, east, and north.

>get drunk and piss in the lake
>north

>Digestion still doesn't work that way! You have nothing to get drunk on anyways.
>You go north!
>You finish circling the lake, and stand at the edge of a forest. The lake bank is wide and shallow, with easy accommodation for several people to fish if they so choose, there is a discarded fishing pole here as testament to this fact. The road around the lake continues to the west, circling back around to reach the Mansion once again. A road to the north leads into forest. Obvious exits are East, North, and West.
