>"Let's say I helped her to do something that she would regret. But this is with me only, so everybody, stand back and run."

>"Oh, I see," says Mystia, clearly understanding the undertone of the whole situation. "Um, if there's anything I can do, shout and I'll see if I can."
>You give Mystia the deed. "I'll keep it safe," she says with a nod.
>The door opens fully, and a terrible machine rumbles out from the warehouse. It is painted green, with huge wheels on the front and smaller ones in the back. In front of it is a huge rotating sort frame, lined with knives, easily wide enough to devour several people at once. You can see Nitori in it's cockpit at the device's forefront, glaring at you as she turns the machine toward you. It seems to turn smaller rear wheels, meaning that it can take corners very tightly. It is without a doubt the most terrible engine of war that you could ever conceive!
>Nitori lifts a megaphone to her lips, as she straightens her slaughter engine and begins rumbling toward you. "You're gonna pay, jarkface!"

>Can we jump over the blades unharmed?

>In theory, you may be able to. It would be a close call, and failure would cost you a lot more than your kidney. However, the problem with this is that there really isn't much to give a decent foothold on the other side of the rotating blades, nor much that you can reliably grasp onto. So even if you were to clear it, chances are you'd land on a bad spot and fall right back onto it.

>It'll give you some protection against being stabbed and slashed about the chest and torso, but it's probably not got the strength to really keep you from being eaten by a bloodshed engine.

>"I saw you do it!" Nitori shouts back. "Don't try to lie to me!"
>You can see a ladder leader up to the cockpit, but that would involve running around the machine. You try to, but Nitori simply angles it toward you again. You'll need a more open area for this to work, or to get around it some other way.

>"Everybody get as far as possible!"
>Get that bitchin' motor stuck with the boot

>You tell the others to flee. Mystia and Kaguya needed no encouragement, having already fled. Rumia withdraws as well, now.
>You take the Cement Boot in hand, and toss it into the blades. It bounces around the rotor a bit, making some awful noises, before it is shuffled into a sort of screw in the back that collects it up, and seems to draw the boot toward chute leading into the bloodshed machine. Then it catches; and with a loud metallic groan, the blades shudder to a halt!
>"Ah hell!" Nitori shouts, "I'll just have to run you over!" Though the blades aren't that much a threat anymore, she still seems capable of her newly declared course of action; and is getting quite close.

>And now that we have stopped the blades, we can safely climb the machine from the front

>Well, not safely, but plausibly. You set about doing this, damn near getting run over in the process.  The rotors you use as a foothold shift perilously under your weight. But for the moment, you think you can get to the cockpit.

> Lay the smackdown on her kappa ass.

>You dive for the latter, catching onto it from the foothold you had secured! And you find...that Nitori locked it. She gives you a baleful look from the cockpit.
