>Heading inside, you find that the table has been moved aside. The floor is taken up by a colorful design that resembles two triangles joined at the tip, looking like arrows pointing at each other. Where the triangles meet, a small bowl filled with rainbow-colored liquid rests. You can just see the Old Coin resting at the bottom of it. Ran stand near the door.
>"Please step into the the middle of the sigil," says Ran, as she closes the door. "Your feet need to be on either side of the vessel. After that, I recommend you close your eyes. I have no idea what this shall look or feel like, but it is best to brace yourself."

>You take position.
>"You will have to use your own judgment as to when it is best to open your eyes," says Ran. She then falls silent, though you can hear...you aren't sure what it is. Something that isn't normal, to say the least. Like a whispered thunderclap or a deafening raindrop. Then your ears suddenly start ringing, you don't hear so much as feel something like a tearing, or perhaps a shattering! Then you feel weightless, you can't feel your feet touching anything. It is like you have been thrown through the air, but you cannot feel any motion. The sound continues, too loud to hear, too quiet to miss.
>Then suddenly you are on your hands and knees; the floor is wooden. the air is dry as a bone.

>Open your eyes and look around.
>Without a doubt, this is the library of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. And it is a mess. Shelves have fallen, books are everywhere. There a faint odor of smoke in the air, now that you've had a moment to notice it. However...you do notice that the books are largely stacked into somewhat neat piles, rather than thrown around like random before. A few are trying to struggle, and are weighed down by other books. The fallen shelves have been set aside so as not to be quite the obstacles they were. None of those standing seem to be in danger of falling, nor do there seem to be any that have fallen into the others and stand at an angle. The floor is reasonably clean, or at least clear of debris. Enough shelves are standing that you can't just look around to see anything, but it seems you are in the western part of the library.

>You take to the air. From above, the library looks like a total wreck; many of the shelves have fallen, the center area is scorched, and much of the furniture there will need to be repaired or replaced. The second and third mezzanine floors have weathered things much better, some books and shelves have fallen, but little significant damage than you can see. In the center of the lirbary, you can see a group of a dozen maids are hard at work trying to clean. One of them looks up toward you, points, and shrieks.
>Oh dear, you're going to have to take charge quickly.

>The best thing to do right now would probably be to overpower them, so to speak. Rather than letting yourself be drawn into their various panics and faerie nonsense, draw them into what you want. You may be able to answer some things, but if you give them more than an inch, they will take a mile. It is something of a balancing act.

As I recall, it was determined that if Yagokoro was incapable of saving Keine, there was nothing anyone from the future would be able to do about it medically.

If you're that positive, you should go back and check, but I feel like that subplot was an important enough Thing that Purvis would have kept careful track in his notes about whether or not we learned such a solution. (Frankly, I imagine that the best/expected course of action is to warn both of them about it up-front, so that Keine can take the necessary precautions and Eirin can do some research if she deems it worth her time.)
