"this piece of equipment I am sure is in tip top shape since it has yet to be used out on duty and the nice people of this R&D Department have been working on it so I am sure you do not need to look at it" said Peter-R-WQR-1 responding to Nietz-R-PHD-1
not letting him touch the Nev-R-Break Plasma Cannon

(+1 Perversity to Nietz for making me laugh)

"So," says Genj-I-EEE-4, "Jamie-R-SWH-1, you want the Voice of Friend Computer, yes? Let's see. Peter-R-WQR-1, you'll be taking the Nev-R-Break Plasma Cannon. Ginger-R-UYT-1, the Rocket Shoes? Rou-R-KAN-1, you are happy with the DoorMakerPlusPlus?" He frowns. "Does no one wish to try the Play-Duralim or the SlashBuddy Grenades?"

"Rou-R-KAN-1, you are happy with the DoorMakerPlusPlus?"
"Indeed I am, or rather I'm happy that it's in the hands of someone who'll treat it with the care it deserves."

Rou-R-KAN-1 can barely be heard over the sound of his cleaning, a loud squeaking coming from the rifle. Its exterior is, for all intents and purposes, dirt-free, but he doesn't mind playing it safe.

Zengar-R-SRG-1's ears perk up.
"So I suppose no one watched me pick up the Play-Duralim?"

I don't see why a bot would be interested in Play-Duralim.

Zengar ponders for a while.
"...So we have a small situation here. But fear not, there's always a solution. Remember, after an hour, the Play-Duralim can recover it's original shape. Therefore, it can be reused, even by all of us! We can take turns, so everyone interested can get a chance to use this wonderful tool. That is, as long as I get my turn on the moment of combat, if there's such need."

"Nnnnnot quite," says Genj-I-EEE-4. "It breaks down after an hour, yes, But not back to its portable elastic form. More like metal dust, really."

"You should have mentioned that earlier...
Now, can we split what we have in equal parts? That most likely will provide an excellent solution.*

"Eh, that's good enough. I say that Nietz-R-PHD-1, as the Equipment guy, should carry the solution, and when needed, he'll hand it to whoever needs it." Zengar then proceeds to smile lightly.

With that decided, the rest of the process runs rather smoothly. You are each given a small portion of Play-Duralim, about the same amount that was used to create the big metal cube now littering the middle of the floor. With that, you are escorted out of the R&D facility and back down to the Red-Clearance area, where you given paperwork to fill out for the experimental equipment. The forms are fairly straight-forward, stating that you take responsibility for the care and maintenance of the valuable equipment, as well as financial responsibility should something happen to them. Of course, when you are paid 1000 credits a month, and your living expenses as mandated by Friend Computer are 1000 credits a month, this can be troublesome, especially when these items are all valued over 1 million credits.

Oddly related to that, as you leave the R&D facility, you hear a tinny buzz, as the monitors along the wall suddenly light up with the words, "Congratulations!" as graphics of streamers and confetti fill the background. Then you hear a voice you know well, that of Friend Computer itself!

Congratulations, citizens! You are the 81st group to visit Research and Development K413! 10,000 credits are deposited into your accounts now. Please make use of them in fun, loyal, completely Kovar-free ways!

Thought of the Day: Treason grows from idleness."

Then everything falls quiet again, and save for the applause of the secretary, which quickly follows. Stepping outside, the group finds itself engulfed and quickly separated by a mob of citizens chattering excitedly about getting to a live recording of "Zap that Mutie!" However, everyone knows where to go, so it should be no difficulty to gather there.

But being alone and seperated, and having two hours until it is time to depart, it's also quite easy for individual troubleshooters to slip off and visit particular individuals should they feel the need. Or, perhaps, they could visit the Infrared Market and quietly spend those newly-acquired credits on something to help out with the upcoming mission. Or some brave souls could try to visit the supply depot as well, in hopes of requisitioning equipment without cost.

(OOC: PM me what you are doing, I will PM what you find/get. When you are ready to continue, post yourself at Hanger 4FH, then we can start this for reals. Of note, anyone who does not post arriving there will be considered to have dropped the RP. There's a whole lotta people who are present on the forums and posting elsewhere, but simply not posting here.)

"Okay, hopefully I'm good to go now...once I trip this flag there's no way back."

Rou-R-KAN-1 walks into hangar 4FH, several cans of Instant Cleans-O-Spray strapped around his waist. A Docbot 1 is rolling its way along beside him, letting off cheerful beeps every now and then. The remainder of his packed away, but he doesn't seem to be struggling from the weight.

"Looks like I'm the first guy here...though I suppose it is the Hygiene Officer's job to be setting the best example for everyone else."

He smirks as he waits for his fellow Troubleshooters to arrive.

"I see that there is only one other trouble shooter that got here before me" said Peter-R-WQR-1 as he walked into hanger 4FH with a grin on his face, spending some time counting the amount of items he has, and counting the items he could see on Rou-R-KAN-1.

Zengar-R-SRG-1 walks in, with an interestly enormous sword in his back.

"Heh, I guess I wasn't fast enough to be the first. Oh well, there's still time."

He then starts to do swinging motions all over the place.

Ginger-R-UYT-1 inconspicuously enters Hangar 4FH with pockets slightly more bulky, and a rifle slung over the shoulder.

(Not quite go time yet, but I figured I would give you some time to play whilst everyone is finishing up)

The hangar is a fairly spacious place, with nearly a dozen flybots about, and a spacious runway. Red and Orange citizens swarm about here and there, maintaining and loading the flybots. There are even a couple of vultures here; watched over carefully by green IntSec goons who seem to be just waiting to beat someone with a stun baton.

Flybot YYM is not hard to find; its door stands open, and anyone peeking inside can see there is room for quite a few people, and a few FunPlastic containers placed in the back.

"Team Leader, while your enthusiasm is appreciated and will undoubtedly be of a great help to us during the mission, shouldn't you calm down a little. Someone might be fooled into thinking you were doing something treasonous, maybe even attempting MURDER, and that'd lead to a pretty Bad End for you."

Rou-R-KAN-1 quickly wipes his seat with a cloth before sitting down, rubbing at the seats next to him for good measure.

Zengar-R-SRG-1 then proceeds to sit and close his eyes, focusing his mind.

while spending time counting and recounting the equipment he can see, he notices something with Rou-R-KAN-1

"Hey Rou-R-KAN-1, you missed a spot on your seat while cleaning it" said Peter-R-WQR-1 who then continues to go on continuing his counting
