The rubble is a bit loose, but not so much that Ginger is Unable to help Neitz up a bit.

All attempts to stare a hole into the wall or rubble have met with failure.

"Oh, fine. Trust you people to make the Hygiene Officer get his hands dirty."

Rou-R-KAN-1 pulls out a pair of gloves, slipping them on before digging to try and expand the hole.

Rou-R-KAN-1 starts digging into the rubble, and soon has the beginning of a hole going!

Still, with just him, the excavation will be slow going.

"Sure thing, sir! With the two of us working on it, we'll just trip the flag that much faster!"

The chance to vent some stress has helped Rou overcome his loss of the DM++, and a smile is running across his face again.

It is slow going, but with multiple people pitching in and working in shifts, some of the rubble is cleared around, and after progressing nearly three yards in, an opening is found! It takes nearly two hours to finish clearing out the rubble enough to have a comfortable passage for people to walk through single file.

Inside, you can see a dimly lit corridor with no clearance level, carrying on about thirty feet or so and ending in a large set of double doors. The walls are unremarkable, but the ceiling panels, about ten feet overhead are all a cluttered mess, apparently having been displaced by some event in the structure's past.

"Well, we should start moving in then, you first team leader" said Peter-R-WQR-1, signaling for Zanger-R-SRG-1 to go and open the door.

"Wait. There's something else I want to test first."
Zengar then proceeds to pick up a small piece of rubble and throw it to the corridor.

The bit of rubble bounces down the corridor and comes to a rest near the doors.

Nothing happens.

Zengar proceeds to walk into the corridor slowly, a hand ready for taking out his Zweihander in any moment.

"Geez, this place sorta gives me the creeps. Feels like there's a Bad End waiting around every corner..."

Rou-R-KAN-1 trails behind the team leader, brushing at the occasional speck of dirt on the walls. He would dust if he had time, but the place has been abandoned for so long that it would take him an age.

The party progress down the corridor, Ginger keeping close to the back. Zengar reaches the doors without any trouble or undue pain.

(OOC: Pesco gets a Perversity point for being correctly cheerful.)

Zengar quickly hits the open button on the door. With a soft hiss, the door slides open. Behind the door, however, is nothing but a blank section of wall.

Then there is a rumble above the group, before ceiling panels and large pieces of rubble rain down on everyone from above! Screaming with varying degrees of panic and pain, you all dash out of the corridor as the ceiling collapses and larges bits of sharp metallic rubble cut, scrap, and bash the daylights out of you.

But as it turns out, you didn't die. Every manages to escape, making their way outside and probably collapsing to the floor out of sheer nervous exhaustion, and pain. Oh the pain. No one has escaped unscathed, everyone is bleeding freely from various wounds. In particular, Zengar-R-SRG's left arm probably should not be bending like that, and Jamie-R-SWH-1's right hand seems to resemble a broken accordion.

Looking toward the passage you uncovered, it seems that cave in has completely blocked it off.

(OOC: You are all now wounded and bleeding freely! You need medical attention rather badly. Zengar and Jamie are maimed, the arm and hand that I mentioned no longer work until correct medical attention can be applied to them, or enough time has passed for them to heal on their own.

Some of you might say, "But I wasn't actually in that hallway!" To this I reply, "Shoulda posted that." There's been a whole lot of people not posting what they are doing; even if that means posting you are doing nothing. This makes me have to assume what you are doing. You do not want me to assume. Rabbit, I'm looking at you in particular.)

'Ow, ow, ow, ow..."

Rou-R-KAN-1 slowly gets to his feet, not sure which of his injuries to attend to first. He eventually settles for the gash running down his side.

"It's days like this that make me wish I could reload and do my best to avoid that flag..."

He turns to the injured Jamie.

"Uh, not to be rude, but can you still work the Voice with a hand like that? Maybe you should give it to someone who's still got two working hands."

Ginger disappears into the Flybot, while Nietz finds that all the pain he is feeling is probably due to the nasty bleeding wounds he has.

Meanwhile, Roukan doesn't do particularly well in treating his wounds, particularly given that he has nothing to treat them with. But at least he fails to make them worse!
