> "No, I said...even if I take out the gold..."  The store clerk sighs and goes to the back and returns a moment later with a scale.  He takes the ☼ coin and a ? from his pocket and puts them on the scale.
> The ☼ weighs more.
> "Even if it's heavier..."  The clerk does some quick calculations on his fingers.  "I could do some conversions, but you seriously have to come prepared next time."

Just out of character, weight means absolutely nothing as far as value goes, and the shopkeeper probably knows this better than we. Still, we managed to scam a fairy using a rock, so...

It does, but it assumes the things used to devalue the coin are the same. Gold soft, but fairly dense as I recall.

Also Parsee isn't a metalworker.

And we have no idea what other materials are used in the two currencies. For all we know, the above ground could run on the silver standard.

... Then again, that would mean that the ☼ would be worth more anyways...

> You walk through the Forest of Magic and reach the place with no incident.
> As you stand at the edge of the field, you see Emi hovering over the flowers, presumably where you left Lumia at.  You walk to her through the flowers, and eventually reach the clearing where you left  her and Lumia.

>"Found it!"
>Hold the eye out for her to take attach to.

> You hold out the eye for Emi to attach to.
> Emi lets off sparks.  Lots of sparks.  The eye is yanked out of your hand and attaches to the last chain.  The sparks converge at the center, and the shape starts to come into focus.  It's a girl with long hair, wearing a kimono.  The only color she's really made out of is gold, seeing as the shape is being made from the sparks let off by the chains and eyes.
> She lands on the ground and smiles, jumping up and down, but no sound comes from her mouth.
