My name is Vic Viper and I can't stay out of arcades. In fact, I believe I managed to find every arcade in Western Ikebukuro yesterday. Gah gah gah.
Finally had my first meal in Japan that wasn't bread: some unholy combination of tonkatsu and curry, and it was **AmAzInG**
UNIQLO actually makes jeans in size, I was shocked. They also fit great, but I don't need any jeans.
What you buy for 100 yen? 2 liters of water! A CRUNKY bar! A 16 pack of travel tissues! And the most important for the gaijin: a 2 pack of handkerchiefs. How the hell am I the only one sweating in this country?
Wandered into a Bic Camera to find a 3-prong to 2-prong converter. 8 floors of electronics and this isn't even Akihabara. We don't need no stinking Best Buy! Although the speakers piping in the Bic Camera jingle every 2 minutes was highly annoying.
A vending machine near my hotel has Melon Cream soda for 100 yen. It tastes divine and has 0 calories. I love Japan. Oh, Melon bread too. I had some fresh baked yesterday and almost died it was so good.
Used the Japanese bath and then promptly slept for almost 11 hours. I think it might have been too relaxing.
Taking the Shinkansen down towards Hiroshima today. I'll be back in Tokyo for C79, hopefully with a far superior grasp on the language by then.
