>Get comfy, and prepare to go!
>"From what I hear, you mostly just have to not be a jerk, so we'll be fine."
> As we get ready, recall something. "Hey, your mistress ever wear green hats?"
> You and Nazrin get on Ran's back.
> "I hope she isn't one of those overly-sensitive people," Nazrin grumbles.
> Before you take off, you ask Ran if her mistress ever wore green hats.
>
'No, but my daughter did.'> Ran takes off into the forest. The trees fly by in blurs of dark brown, peppered with bursts of dead leaves kicked up by Ran as she sprints. Like breaking the surface of water, you come crashing out of the forest and go speeding through the fields. The wind whips against your face, and as you lower your head to avoid the cold, you catch a glimpse of the village. As you reach the other side of the huge clearing and head into the next part of the forest, you briefly wonder how Mokou is doing.
> The trees in this part of the forest are very dense, and it's a miracle that Ran is able to glide between the branches as skillfully as she does. The trees start to thin out, and she gradually slows to a halt. Up ahead, you can see a field through the trees.
> Ran sniffs the air.
'There are lots of bugs here,' she notes.
> Nazrin is too wind blown to respond to this. She smoothes out her hair.
