> "Okay~" Setting the watch to wake us up at seven, with some heart pumping music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJs_zEaZta8).
> "Thank you for indulging me, Koga..." peck Kogasa on the cheek and give her a squeeze around the shoulders, then stand up and give her a hand up. "Parsee should be about ready to go back to the bridge, don't you think?"
> Shrink our wings back down and head back to the room.
>Be glad that Parsee was too busy being unconcious to shank us!
> Check the clothes to see if they're dry.
> If they are, pull them down. "Okay, I'm going to change her back into her clothes..."
> Get Parsee changed.
> She was wearing a yukata, right? That's a lot easier to get her changed into than that dress she usually wears...
> Stand up and stretch.
> "Well, that should do it... hm... hey, Mado, stay where you are. I just had an idea."
> "Well, I had a quick thought about those 'effects' of yours. They worked in your dreamworld, right? Well, what if I manipulated things, in my dreamworld, so that you could have wings and fly?"
> "I haven't tried to do it to someone, but I made these wings," flap our wings, "and I was able to conjure up some ingredients yesterday. Wanna give it a shot?"
> If Madotsuki agrees, then put our hands on her shoulder blades...
> "... In case this works, what color plumage do you want?"
> "Let's see..."
> Okay, imagine that beautiful brown feathered wings sprout from her shoulder blades, like they did when we created our own. Imagine that they emerge from underneath our hands, and use our hands to guide them out. Also imagine that Madotsuki has the ability to use the wings, because that would be silly to have wings and not be able to use them.
> Grin, and stroke the feathers.
> "Hey, Mado, do you feel that?"
> "Wow, so I can do stuff like that after all..."
> Glance at Kogasa, and imagine all the things we could do with her... hm... two Kogasas for the price of one? Travel sized Kogasa? Kogasa the Kid?
> Smile back at her. Nope, we're not thinking about fooling around with Kogasa, nosiree!
> Let go of Madotsuki's wings. "So, how about we go to the roof, then? We can see how well you can handle those wings!"
> Pick up Parsee bridal style, and follow them up to the rooftop.
> "Let's give them a test run, then!"
> Go up to the roof, and let Madotsuki at it.
> "Try gliding! It's easier than hovering!"
> "That's it, you got it!"
> It's like seeing a baby bird leave its nest~
> "How do you feel?"
> "All right, let's get some time in, then!"
> Extend our wings, and take off towards the bridge. Keep an eye on Madotsuki.
> Does Parsee seem to be regaining conciousness as we approach the bridge?
>Change the plumage of our wings so that it has an iridescent sheen, and cycles through all the colors of the rainbow randomly via that sheen.
>Ah, but not so much so that they blind just about anyone who looks at 'em. Gotta be polite, even in the dreamworld~
>Afterall, if we're gonna have wings all the time here, it's a good idea to make sure they're distinct from a Tengu's wings. Don't want anyone mistaking us for a tengu do we?
> Continue flying.
> Glance at the twitching ears... can't resist! Touch her ears.
> "Ow ow!" Don't drop her, and settle in for a landing.
> "I'm fine, she just whacked me good..." Put Parsee down on the ground.
> "Hey, are you all right?"
> Grimace. "Sorry about touching your ears. Uh... so, what were you doing in the river?"
>"Weird, isn't it?"
> Give Parsee a confused look. "'Everyone else'? What are you talking about?"
> "Um... you know, I keep hearing Mokou, and I just can't remember who she is... As for the rest... uh... oh, right! Kikuri said that Konngara made friends with those 'Yuugi' and 'Ran' characters, up on the surface."
> Do we know a Cirno?
> "But there's a lot more people here, like Kanako-sama and Suwako-sama, and a couple of my tengu friends, and the folks at the Buddhist temple... Oh, and Kikuri and Konngara as well. I, uh, think everyone's here, actually."
> "Well, here they live above ground, in a somewhat secluded shrine. But Konngara's little! She's so adorable!"
> Pause. "Um, I'm guessing you've figured out you're in a dream?"
>"No, she's a friend of mine who's never really explored Gensokyo, so I'm just showing her around everywhere"
> "Don't really have any destination, really, just going where we happen to go. Wanna come along? Oh, that reminds me, what's up with you passing out when we left the bridge? Satsuki said that it was because you're a hashihime, but you were all over the place last fall."
>Are those geta still here?
>If so, point them out. "Are those yours?"
>Nod.
>"Um, is there anything we can do to help, with the weakness?"
>Contemplate the Miracle of the Flying Bridge-cum-Airship.> Well the original idea was an energy drink but that works too!
> Frown. "Well, if you didn't have that weakness, then would you want to come along, if only to find those people?"
> This is our dream, surely helping her get over her weakness shouldn't be a problem!
>Contemplate the Miracle of the Flying Bridge-cum-Airship.
> Well the original idea was an energy drink but that works too!
> Imagine Parsee as a sky pirate...
> Wonder why we didn't throw in more Miyazaki references into this world.
> Put our hands on Parsee's shoulders. "Parsee. This is very important, so listen carefully."
> "Do you want to be a sky pirate and plunder the ten cloud formations?"
> We have gone mad! Mad, with genius!
> "Well, you can't find your friends because you can't leave your bridge. So, why not bring the bridge to them? Put propellers on the bridge, and make it fly! And what do people do when they have a flying ship, or bridge? They become pirates!"
> This is going to be awesome! Wahaha!
> "Tsk tsk, Parsee, you're letting common sense get in the way! This is a dream! We just need to find the secret hangar, that's all! As for uprooting it... Huh. Maybe you need to make it detachable or something?"
> Frown. "You're not very excited about it, are you?"
> Puff up our cheeks. "Mmrrrr...! Why not?"
> Man, and we were going to have cannons! Well, fine then!
> "All right... say, where's your house? I'll just whip up something that'll make you energetic, then!"
> Flutter off the side of the bridge while looking for the cave.
> "But didn't you just say that you wanted to meet up with your friends here?"
> "Well, okay, I guess I can leave it for you so you can drink it later, then... Mind if we come inside?"
> Hm... what're the most energetic things we can think of that we can put into a drink?
> "You'll see~"
> Enter the cave and look around. Is there a kitchen?
> Join Kogasa in looking around. Is there anything that resembles a kitchen, or even a bedroom?
>For the record, we are NOT making the CoTBS (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,8865.0.html).
> "..." Go back out, and find Parsee.
> "You can't be serious. You can't be living in that... hole!"
> "But, it's a dream, it should've really been furnished or something, like the Buddhist Temple was completely different, or that shrine of Konngara's was up aboveground or something..."
> This is a bit worrying...
> "Hey... what do you usually dream about?"
> "A dream where you have brown hair and wearing a yukata?"
> Look at where the geta are.
> "... Did you jump off the bridge in the dream?"
> "... When you feel better, you should really get out of here. Go to the village or something, check out the temple, or go see Konngara and Kikuri in the shrine in the woods."
> Reach into our pocket and pull out a bottle of orange flavored Lipovitan, with lots of divine energy! Hand it to her.
> "That should give you that kick you need, I think!"
> Look around for Kogasa and Madotsuki. Are they still inside the cave?
> "Oh, and I don't know where to find Cirno or Mokou, but I think Ran and Yuugi go to the school in the village. They should be about the same age as dream Konngara, I think, and she's about this big." Hold out a hand to dream Konngara's height.
> "Mm hmm! You have to see it to believe it! Well, I haven't seen Ran or Yuugi, or even met them in the real world, but I kind of wanted to steal Konngara for myself, you know?"
> Check watch.
> "Anyways, we should get going. Don't do anything silly, okay? And you should really come up."
> Wave for Madotsuki and Kogasa to join us.
> "Well, we'll be on our way. Take care!"
> Lead the way up the tunnels, and to the surface. Check back to see if Madotsuki's having any problems.
> What time is it in the dream world?
> "Hey, let's go over to the village! We can grab something to snack on there!"
> Lead the way to the village, and land near the confectionary.
> Just how many shrines are there here, anyways?
> "Yeah, it's real different than the one out there, huh?"
> Retract our wings, and head inside the confectionary.
> Wave to Charlotte. "Morning!"
> Take a look at what they have available.
> "So how's everything going? Is Monoe working hard?"
> What do Madotsuki and Kogasa seem interested in?
>Do we know what kind of confections that Kogasa likes?
>"Hey, Kogasa? Pick something for me, and I'll get something for you."
> Look around at other sour candies.
> Hm... which candies would be the softest, easiest to chew or tear up?
> Let's select an assortment of gummies, peach rings, and a little bit of rock candy.
> Peek at what Kogasa chose for us, and what Madotsuki decided on.
and some gummies shaped like dolphins.35 of them? :3
> "Everybody ready?" Take the candies to Charlotte.
> "All right, here we are..."
> Pay for the candy, and take a seat at a table.
>Quietly to Kogasa: "Hey, wanna surprise Madotsuki?"
>Grin back.
>Then will her to poof down to about six inches tall, sitting on the table rather than her chair.
> Hee~, guess we surprised both of them! Snack on a gummy contentedly while watching the both of them.
> Frown. We didn't mean to scare her that much. Scoop her up in our hands gently.
> "Hey, Koga, are you all right?"
>"Did you see the look on her face?"
> "Hee~, we were just surprising you, though maybe Kogasa was more surprised than you were..."
> Pick up one of the gummies we got Kogasa, and hold it in front of her so she can take it.
>Giggle.
>"Don't worry about things like that, Kogasa. Look at the bright side!"
>Beam!
>"And I have the best pocket umbrella ever."
>Snuggle her against our chest. Preferably when she doesn't have her mouth full.
> Hm... but maybe she's too small? If she were kid sized then we could get her a good ol' full bodied hug...
> Keep feeding her candies.
> "That sounds like something Suika can do!"
> Imagine a bunch of Suikas running around and Madotsukis fluttering around.
>"Did you see out of all of them at once? And control them?"
>Ponder if we could do this to Kogasa, too...
> "She's an oni that lives with Reimu, who's another shrine maiden."
> Keep feeding Kogasa candies~
> Put down the candy and snuggle Kogasa~♥
> "You're just too cute, Koga!"
>Just another pocket karakasa as far as Charlotte is concerned.
>Contemplate what to do next.
> Balance Kogasa on our shoulder, and snack on our own candy.
> Check our watch.
> "So, you wanna try tracking down Aya or Hatate? Hm... where did Momiji say they were, again?"
> "Well, you've already met Aya, and she's closer, so let's try to meet up with her. Hey, Koga, wanna stay like this a bit longer?"
> Hm... where can we put Kogasa? Pocket karakasa comments aside, it probably wouldn't be very comfortable there, and she might object if we stuffed her down our shirt...
> "Oh, before we go..." Call to Charlotte: "Is Monoe here? Could you bring her up for a bit?"
> Consider letting Kogasa ride on our head.
> "Hey, Kogasa, where d'ya wanna ride? Head? Shoulders? Knees and toes, knees and toes?"
> What pockets do we have? Any that would let her look around comfortably?
>If we can shrink a karakasa, dreaming up a good breast pocket for her shouldn't be too hard. Give it a shot.
> "Here we go!" Place Kogasa inside the pocket.
> Smile, and finish off our own candies while watching the two.
> It looks like those two were really good friends. Stroke Kogasa's head while we wait for them to finish.
> "If you want to stay for a while longer, we won't mind. We can wait in the community center while you two catch up."
> Smile, and stand up. "Have fun, we'll see you in a bit. Thanks for the snack, Charlotte!"
> Exit, and head to the community center.
> Oh, that's right, it was raining! Make our way inside, and head to the computer area. Keep an eye out for any familiar faces.
> Glance at the game being played, but don't be rude about it: the girl's got enough kids crowding her!
> Set up at one of the computers. They have internet?
> "Hm... I wonder if the Bunbunmaru's online..."
> Try searching for it. Or any news, really.
> Hm... in that case, find a two player Tetris game online.
> "Hey Koga, I'll play you~"
> "Yep~. Don't underestimate the stacking powers of a living goddess~"
> Get our Russian on!
> Aw~, she wore herself out. Scoop her into our hand, then find a couch that we can lay out on. Put her on our stomach so she can rest.
>"Well done, Koga. Well done. I think you've won reward. Hmmm. Think of some thing you'd like to see, and I'll see if I can make it happen. Oh, and since you were my victim today, next time I'll be yours. Just think of whatever you want me to do to myself when we come here next time, and I'll do it."
>Stroke her hair gently with a finger. "Hmm, that sounds fun!"
>Focus on shifting things around so that rain comes from the earth, rather than the sky, and flies upward. But things like floors and the like naturally block it.
>It'll be a fun thing for them to look back on.
>"There you are!"
>Just kick back, watch people, and enjoy our time with Kogasa. Fold hands over her once she lays back down. Madotsuki will show up in good time.
>Wave to her.
> "Did you and Monoe have a nice, long chat?"
> Poke Kogasa so that she'll climb into our breast pocket, then, sit up from the couch.
> "So... I wonder where we should look for Aya..."
> "Hm... good idea!"
> Stand up, and look around for people we could ask. If the horned girl is still there, then approach her.
> We'll wait until she's done talking, then approach her.
> "Hi! You wouldn't have happened to seen a tengu reporter named Shameimaru Aya around here today, would you? She usually wears a white shirt and black skirt, really nosy and all that, likes taking pictures?"
> "Okay, thanks!"
> Smile at Madotsuki, then go outside.
> Dance around in the rising rain for a bit~
> Okay, serious time. Let's go to the Hakurei Shrine!
> Flutter up the stairs up to the torii, and land.
> How did Kogasa enjoy being a passenger?
> Is it not rain- er, rising here?
> Have we ever seen this woman before?
> Walk up to the woman and greet her. "Good afternoon!"
> "No, I'm from the Moriya Shrine on top of Youkai Mountain. Kochiya Sanae." Bow to her.
> Huh... "Sorry, I don't recall meeting you. Are you the only shrine maiden here?"
> Let's also start moving to underneath the awning where the donation box is.
> Weird... where's Reimu, then?
> "So, what can you tell me about this shrine? What god does it house?"
> Look around a bit more. Is it identical to the Hakurei Shrine we know?
> Where's Madotsuki?
> "'Clan'? So there's a lot of you here, then?"
> We've never met any of Reimu's family members...
> "Souji? Is that your brother? Or maybe your husband?"
> "Ha~, so you're married already, huh? You look too young to have children, though..."
> "Hm, that's true. You have to enjoy yourself, I think. So, aside from maintaining the Great Boundary, what does the Hakurei clan do?"
> Sit down next to the offeratory box and watch Madotsuki enjoy herself.
> "Youkai extermination... what's your view on youkai?"
> "So you're making friends with them now, like how Aya's reporting on that festival that's coming up?"
> How soaked are we from the rain?
> Wait damply for the tengu reporter.
> "Hey, don't scare Mado, Aya~! Mado, come here!"
> "Well, your way of coming in surprised the heck out of her! You should apologize!"
> Smile. "That's better. Hey, Aya, why not get out of the rain? We were trying to track you down all day, you know~"
> Do we still have the garbled newspapers?
> "Yours and Hatate's papers are the only ones I read, so I guess that's true. Anyways, I was trying to help Madotsuki meet some tengu, but you went and scared her!" Again.
> "Well, it's time to properly introduce you, then." Let Madotsuki hide behind us, if she still wants to. "Madotsuki, this is Aya, editor and owner of the Bunbunmaru. Aya, this is my friend Madotsuki."
> Blink. "Are you kidding? We've known each other for years."
> Wait, seriously? Aya doesn't remember us in this dream? But Momiji did...
> "You mean you don't remember me? Sanae, from the Moriya Shrine...?"
> "Seriously? The shrine maiden of the Moriya shrine? Servant of Yasaka Kanako-sama and Moriya Suwako-sama? None of that rings a bell?"
> What sort of personal relations do we have with Aya?
> "Ah... huh... that's really weird..."
> Glance at Madotsuki. Does she seem like she wants to leave?
> "Ah, well, we're just going to the city now, so take care both of you. Ah ha..."
> Offer a prayer to the shrine, drop some money in the offeratory box (25), and nudge Madotsuki away from the shrine.
> Start flying towards the city, but slow down so we can talk to Madotsuki.
> "That was really weird... I know she wouldn't remember you, but not remembering me at all...?"
> That kind of hurts, actually. We thought we were good friends with her...
>"And that's a proper skyscraper, Kogasa."
> "Heh heh... hey, Madotsuki, why don't you lead on for this?"
> "Whereever you want: it's your turn to lead us around!"
> Check watch.
> Follow her!
> Flutter down to a landing.
> "Is this where you wanted to go?"
> It's hard to disagree with that. Enjoy the view.
>Make sure Kogasa can see, too.
>"It's a shame it's not dark out. It's pretty at night, too!"
>...Hmmm.
>"Just say when~"
>Grin. Pat Kogasa's head.
>"Like I said, it's a shame it's not night time."
> ... Oh man, she's so oblivious, it's almost adorable. "... Would you guys like me to make it night?"
> And with a snap... it's night!
>Dizziness? Mmm...maybe it's time to lay off the miracles.
>Enjoy the scene!
Sect, remind me why Madotsuki is afeared of Tengu
I'm not too sure, to be honest. I think it has to do with the game, but I only watched an LP of it.The tengu-like things in Yume Nikki like to chase you around until they catch you and warp you into an area you can only escape by waking up.
> Grin. Oh yeah, it doesn't matter what Gengetsu says, we can build dream worlds like none other!
> Check time again.
> Reminisce a bit while we're at it since it's been so long since we've been in a city at night.
> "So, wanna explore the nightlife, Mado?"
> Look down the skyscraper at the street.
> Step back away from the edge of the skyscraper, and lay on our back to stare at the stars.
> Hm... Kogasa's got the right idea, we think. Yawn, and wrap our wings around ourself.
> "This dream can get pretty tiring, huh?"
> "You're telling me... Is... is that what you were doing when you were alive?"
> "And what happened when you realized it?"
> Carefully sit back up.
>Is it even possible to dream within a dream...?
> Scoot over to Madotsuki and give her an arm/wing hug, 'cause she seems like she could use one.
> Lean our head against hers.
> "Still, I hope that you're happier now."
> We'll rest here quietly, until Madotsuki wants to do something, or we wake up.
> Sit up and check on her.
> "Mado, are you all right?!"
>Also glance over, how is Kogasa doing?
> Does her cough sound phlegemy, or raspy? Also, is she sweating?
> "Stay right there, I'll get you some water."
> Hurry out of the room, find a washrag and a cup, fill the cup with water, and dampen the washrag a bit.
> Hurry back to the room.
> "Here, try to drink a little..."
> Give her the water, and carefully wipe sweat off her forehead and neck.
> "Are you okay? Can you tell me what's wrong? Are you having a hard time breathing?"
>"Oh...sorry..."
>How do we feel?
> "Ah... I didn't know if me dragging you and Kogasa around dream Gensokyo might've caused it..."
> What time is it? Our watch didn't go off in the dream, did it?
> Coughing aside, does Madotsuki seem to be worse off than yesterday?
> Did Madotsuki go to sleep in her usual clothes, or did she change into a nightgown?
> Do we still feel a bit sleepy?
> "Hey, try getting a bit more shut-eye, okay? I'll wake you up at 7, and we can head out after getting breakfast."
>Let's get started on that breakfast. Maybe something Suwako likes, to see if the scent teases her awake.
> Do we have eggs? We can make French Toast, with peach topping!
> Let's go ahead and get started on them, then! See if we can find some cinnamon, then crack the eggs into a bowl. Put milk and a little bit of cinnamon in the bowl, then beat them into a nice mixture!
> Go ahead and start warming up a large skillet, using cooking spray or butter on the skillet.
> Take... hm... ten pieces of bread, and soak them in the egg mixture.
> When the skillet's hot enough, put the egg soaked bread on the skillet.
> Check those peaches. Are they preserved like the ones at Reimu's?
> Hm... it would be a bit easier to do if they were preserved... they aren't dried, are they?
> Hm... or maybe...
> Put a saucepan on the stove, and put water, a couple tablespoons of sugar and cornstarch, bring it to a boil.
> Take four of the peaches and wash them. Then, chop them into bite sized bits, taking out the seeds.
> When the saucepan's boiling, put the peaches in after a little bit. Let that boil for a little while until the peaches are nice and soft.
> Turn down the heat so that it'll keep the peaches warm, and stir them a bit.
> Check on the toast, and flip them over when the bottom's golden brown.
> Hm... how much time is there before 7?
> Whoops, we started too soon on breakfast... Rap ourself on the head for that mistake.
> Just watch the toast until they're done, then stack them all on a plate, and place something over them to keep them warm.
> Wash the dishes we dirtied up, then check on Kogasa and Madotsuki.
> Let's go ahead and get changed into our shrine maiden outfit.
> Are there any chores we can get done quickly?
> Also, do we not have electricity to charge up our cellphone?
> Go ahead and start recharging our phone, and the DS for the heck of it.
> Get started on the laundry.
> "Morning, Koga..."
> Continue putting laundry in the machine.
> "French toast, with peach topping!"
> Start up the washer, and follow Kogasa. Is she dressed, or still in nightclothes?
>"So, what'd I miss after I woke up?"
> "So how did you like being teeny tiny?"
> "Well, just remember that next time, you get to choose to do something to me. Think hard on it~"
> "Okay~. I'll go see if Kanako-sama is up yet."
> Pad quietly and peek inside Kanako-sama's room.
> Hm... if it's still not seven yet, then we'll let her sleep a bit longer.
> Close the door quietly, and start setting out plates and forks.
> When it gets to around seven, go ahead and put the french toast on the plates, and put the peach topping on top of the toast. Then, go to Kanako-sama's room again, and gently wake her up.
> "About the same. She woke up coughing, but she went back to sleep, and her temperature isn't worse. I'm going to go wake her up again for breakfast."
> Nod, close the door, and go to our room to wake up Madotsuki.
> Kneel down next to Madotsuki and gently shake her awake.
> Put our hand on her head to check her temperature.
> "Do you think you can eat something?"
> "Okay, why don't you wash your face, then? Food's already set out."
> Keep an eye on her, in case she collapses again.
> Go back to the kitchen and get a glass of water for Madotsuki, then put it on the table and go check on Madotsuki again.
> "Everybody except Suwako-sama. Man, and I was hoping that the smell would wake her up..."
> Pout, and go to the sitting room.
> "Hm... should we wait for Kanako-sama...? Oh, and that water's for you, Mado, be sure to drink it!"
> "Well, I was going to take Madotsuki to see Miss Hijiri, so she can take that medicine, and then head down to the underground to find 'Mary'. Maybe stop by Suwako-sama's giant robot on the way. After that... well, there's that meeting at the mansion, but I really don't need to be there, so if something comes up, well..."
> Wait to see how everyone reacts to our breakfast before digging in.
> "Don't underestimate the cooking prowess of a shrine maiden!"
> Om nom nom.
>Have a seat by Kogasa and snuggle up to her whilst dining. We've earned the right to make a show of ourselves.
>"I guess it wouldn't be hard to get the results from Patchouli, would it?"
> "So, Kanako-sama, did you and Suwako-sama do anything fun?"
> "Sounds like business as usual, huh? Well, we ran into a couple of weird things, like we couldn't find Reimu at all. Just some woman named Tamiko. And we met Aya, but she didn't remember me at all, despite doing reports on the shrine! But Momiji remembered me..."
> Eat a little more.
> "Oh, and Kogasa's a Tetris grandmaster, even when six inches tall."
> "Mmm hmm... It was pretty fun. And I also gave Mado some pretty wings so she could fly, and then made the rain fall up!"
> Grin. "No, something went terribly right! Though, maybe I should've fixed it before leaving the dream..."
> Finish off our meal.
> "So do you have any big plans for today, Kanako-sama?"
> "Hah~?" Carry our plate into the kitchen with Kanako-sama.
> "Who are you looking for? I mean, if you don't mind me asking, Kanako-sama."
> "Hm... what does she look like? I've been running all over the place, so I might've met or seen her!"
> Begin cleaning up the dishes and putting away leftovers.
> Clean up those plates as well, and think about pink haired girls we know...
> Wasn't there also that gambling kappa...?
> "Um... well, Yuyuko and Mystia, that lamprey chef, all have pink hair... and me and Kogasa met someone at that bath with pink hair, she's a friend of Reimu's. She found Madotsuki's flute."
> But they all wear dresses, right?
> "Ah, maybe it was a kappa! I met one with pink hair named Mitori a few nights ago."
> Try to remember anything particular about Mitori or Reimu's Mysterious Friend.
>"Oh, does this person have bandages on her arm?"
> "Reimu's friend did: I bet she was at the hot springs to help it heal or something. She also had a shackle on her other arm."
> "Is it the same person, then? Wow, if she's had that bandage on for months..."
> Put away the dishes.
> "So, you're going to see Reimu this morning? Hm... I might drop by to see her in the evening, then: I have a bone or two to pick with her. Oh! You should definitely take a dip at the hotspring before you leave there!"
> "Maybe she should see that doctor that fixed up Reimu last year, then... But enjoy yourself, Kanako-sama! We're going to be busy today, and I don't know if we're going to come back tonight or stay underground..."
> Smile and nod.
> Is Madotsuki or Kogasa watching? If they aren't, then give Kanako-sama a quick hug.
> "Okay, everyone, let's get ready to go! We all better dress warmly~"
> "Will that be enough for you? I can find another scarf and maybe a hat..."
> Get our usual winter stuff on. Don't forget the cellphone.
> Find Madotsuki a hat and scarf, and put them on her.
> "Koga, are you ready?"
> "Okay, then let's go!"
> Lead the parade to the front of the shrine.
> "Hey, Mado, do you feel well enough to take a detour to look at the robot?"
> "Hee hee~... flying in the snow! You'll need to stay close to me, Koga~"
> Pick up Madotsuki, and take off towards the location of the robot!
> Frown, looking up and down.
> "Hey, what's that up there...? And I think that's the robot down there..."
> "Right... let's take a look! It might a variable fighter doing recon on Suwako-sama's robot!"
> Fly up towards the thing in the sky.
> "What the heck... is it a tree?"
> Fly closer.
> Land on it, too, but keep holding Madotsuki's hand at all times, just in case.
> What do we know about keystones?
> "That's weird... what would a keystone be doing all the way up here...?"
> Examine the tree. What kind of tree is it?
> "Huh... I wonder if Suwako-sama, or Kanako-sama know about this... Don't let me forget to ask them!"
> Doesn't really seem to be much else about it, so we'll head down to where we saw the robot.
> Waa~
> How big is it? What does it look like? Can we attach weapons or jet boosters to it? Can we ride it?
> Fly in closer!
>Try not to flip out with joy at finally finding it, we've still got to keep a hold of Mado don't we?
> "See, see?! Isn't it awesome?!"
> Try to find a place to land safely.
>Once we land and mado's got good enough footing, we can proceed to fangirl like we've never fangirled before!
> See if there's an entry hatch!
> Go for it! Open 'im up!
>This is it, the moment we've been waiting for~!
>"....What."
>There's nothing in there? How can this be?! There was supposed to be a pilot's seat in there and everything!
>Maybe even that thing from that one robot show that let people pilot their robots with their own movements!
I'm sending this message to let you know what my intentions are, and what I plan on asking when appropriate concerning Suwako's giant robot. I know that Hisoutensoku, in the games, is moved by air (though I can't remember how exactly), and when Ryuu asked about giant robots, an idea clicked in my mind. Basically, I want to figure out how Hisoutensoku works, and, this is the important bit, if we could power it using the ghosts. Not necessarily something like "power it by sacrificing ghosts" but just have a hell of a lot of ghosts inside the thing and moving it.That was a PM I sent to Himiko two months ago, when the game first started. So, now to find out if we can have our ghost Hisoutensoku~
I'm not asking you to actually let us create a giant ghost mecha: I'm sending this to let you know of my intentions, so that you have answers ready when the time comes. If you decide that the idea's just too silly, I am perfectly fine with that.
Thank you for reading my note, and thank you for starting a new game!
> Wait, Kanako-sama said that it was moved with air, right?
> ... Wait, so it's pretty much a puppet, then? Aw man...
> "I was hoping there would be a cockpit that I could pilot it with..."
>"Yeah, it's hollow inside. I think they moved it with air."
> "No, I don't think I can really do that, or at least not that long..."
> Can we summon winds, like Kanako-sama?
> Frown, and cross our arms. "Even then, I don't think we'd get very much control over the thing: controlling all of that wind would be tough. Maybe if there was another way, then we could just stand on its head as it marches along..."
> "Yeah, it's not like we can get inside and move each bit inch by inch. It'd take way too long, and unless we get Patchouli to clone us there won't be enough of us!"
> ... Wait... we need a bunch of people to move it around...
> "We can get Suika to multiply herself and stuff herself inside it! Wait, no, that doesn't work... she can already grow big, and we won't have anyone to have awesome giant batles with..."
> "I know, right? Hm... if we can't have Suika, then..."
> !
> Look at Madotsuki with starry eyes and a grin. "Hey, Mado, do you think your ghost friends would be able to move it?"
> "How many of them, though? You lead a lot of them downstairs, and that was just to go on a field trip! Just imagine how many more would want to move a giant robot!"
>"Well, it wouldn't be all of them. Just a bunch..."
> "And I bet Yuyuko or Youmu wouldn't mind if they knew where they were going, or what they were going to do. Come on, it's a giant robot! They'd probably want to join in as Super Ghost Sentai Pink and Green!"
> "Fight Suika, obviously."
> "It'll be awesome! We can wrestle her and everything! I can see it now!"
> The super robot goes for the back drop! Oh, but Suika counters with a backdrop! Wait, the robot has won it with a backdrop!
> "Hm... that's true... we need a cheering section as well..."
> Imagine Kogasa in a cheerleader outfit.
> Then imagine Kogasa in one of those male cheerleader outfits (http://www.nineinchsandwich.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Ouendan.jpg).
> Then imagine Kogasa as an Elite Beat Agent.
> "Huh... but then who around here could make a cheerleading outfit...?"
> Look around once more, then close the hatch. "Anyways, I think that can wait until later. We should really get Mado to see Miss Hijiri."
> Pick up Madotsuki. "Well then, let's get going!"
> Fly to the Human Village! Try to catch snowflakes in our mouth while we're at it!
> Let's go ahead and hurry into the Temple, then, since we've been in the cold for quite a while!
> Wave to Ichirin. "Ichirin! Good morning!"
>"Just bringing Madotsuki, like we agreed yesterday. Where's Miss Hijiri?"
> View the cloud with some trepidation. Those bro fists...
>Wave to it.
> Turn to the footsteps.
> Walk up and bow to Hijiri. "Good morning, Miss Hijiri."
> Motion for Madotsuki to come next to us.
> "Madotsuki, this is Miss Hijiri. She's the leader of the temple and the person who made the medicine for you." Smile reassuringly.
> "Will she need to take it with water or something? How long will it take to work?"
> "Ah... so, any recommendations? Just the usual bedrest and drink lots of liquids?"
> "Ah... we were going to do something underground today... should she wait until she's near a bed before she takes it? It's not going to knock her out, is it?"
> "Ah..." Look at Madotsuki. "So, will you take it?"
> Wait for her to take the medicine from Hijiri. If she hesitates, give her a reassuring smile.
> "Do you want to drink it now, Mado, or wait?"
> Put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "If you're nervous, then just close your eyes, pinch your nose, and gulp!"
> Are clouds still coming out of her mouth?
> "Wow... what did you do?"
> Feel Madotsuki's forehead to check.
> "Do you feel better?"
> Grin, and bow again to Hijiri.
> "Thank you for your help! Are you sure you don't need anything in return?"
> "If you're sure... ah, there's something I wanted to ask you. First, how's Kikuri doing? I heard she's helping with the currency debacle."
> "What's going on with that, anyways? Does she make trips back and forth or something?"
> "Ah... she must work really hard... has she had any friends visit her while she's been with you?"
> "Yeah, Konngara. Say, would it be all right if Konngara came up every now and then to visit? She and Kikuri go back, waaaay back, and I think it would do the both of them some good."
> Grin. "Okay! I'll let Konngara know, then!"
> Bow to Hijiri. "Again, thank you so much! We'll be leaving now..."
> Head out of the temple.
> "She's a nice lady, huh Mado? I would've liked to stay longer, but we should really find 'Mary' and get you resting as quickly as possible."
> "Dunno, so let's go find out!"
> Pick up Madotsuki, and head to the underground!
> Start heading down down down... watch for buckets.
> Keep floating downward, but look around curiously. "Ah... hello?"
> "Is that you clicking? Sorry to be rude..."
> What does that chittering sound like?
> "O-okay.... bye..."
> Ew ew ew spiders ew ew ew... fly fly fly.
> Sigh in relief, and slow down the pace.
> "I wonder if Parsee's okay..."
>Can we spot Parsee as we get closer to the bridge?
> Blink in surprise, and wave at her. "Ah, good morning! Have you seen Parsee today?"
> "How did she look?"
> Start heading down that way.
> Give Rumia a weird look. "Huh? That's an odd way to describe her. Besides that's a bit rude: I'm sure that she's an acquired taste!"
> Wait, what are we saying?
> Continue floating towards where she told us Parsee is.
> "Good morning, Parsee!"
> Wave.
> Leave Madotsuki at the bridge, and float on down to talk to Parsee.
> In a low tone to note alert that oni: "Ah... did you, er, sleep well last night?"
> "That's good... hey, is this your friend?" She's awfully friendly with her...
> Surprised look, then smile. "Oh~, so you do have- wait. Did you say your name was Yuugi?"
> That's the jerk that beat up Youmu! Grr!
> Cross our arms and glare at her! "You beat up Youmu a few days ago! She was so hurt that her ghost had to steal her own heartbeat and nearly died!"
> "Dunno, why don't you ask her?" Glare glare glare. "Me and Konngara found her hidden in a storeroom and had to take her to the hospital! Good thing Satsuki knows her stuff..."
> "Well, what happened after that? Didn't you try to help her after you got done beating her into the ground?"
> Frown. That seems sincere enough... oni don't lie after all...
> "Well, I guess you're sincere... but next time you see her, you should apologize!"
> Sigh, uncross arms.
> "Ah, well... two things, then. Have either of you seen a blonde human named 'Mary' around here? Last I heard she was hiding out in the wasteland area..."
> "I... have absolutely no clue. She was more responsible for the ghosts. What's up with the jellyfish?"
> "A good reason? Are they lucky jellyfish or something?"
>"What have the jellyfish done? And where are they at?"
> "Huh... well, maybe Mary has something to do with it... do you know where Konngara might be? Will she be at her shrine?"
> Hopefully she hasn't gone into hiding...
> "Okay, thanks for the help. Be sure to apologize to Youmu if you see her again! Parsee, take care! And I'm sure that girl's lying when she says you look unappetizing!"
> Fly up to Kogasa and Madotsuki. "Sorry, you guys ready?"
> Pick up Madotsuki, and head towards the wastes!
> "Huh? Hey Mado, have you seen those things before?"
> Keep flying.
>Wait, they jingle?
>Maybe we can play a tune using them?
>Try playing a song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFJBb7XeLJU&feature=related) on them!> Ah~, no. Mado's pretty upset by these things. Let's hold off just in case.
>Heck, let's rope Kogasa into helping us play it!
> "What are these, Mado?"
>Try playing a song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFJBb7XeLJU&feature=related) on them!
>Heck, let's rope Kogasa into helping us play it!
> Ah~, no. Mado's pretty upset by these things. Let's hold off just in case.
> "Hm?" Float down with the jellyfish.
> "So, nothing in particular? You're not a fan of jellyfish?"
> "Ah... I wonder what's going on, then. Hey, can you see your friend anywhere?"
> Hop on one of the jellyfish.
> "Where do you want me to put you down? On the ground?"
> "Okay~"
> Hop off the jellyfish and land on the ground. Set Madotsuki down.
> Follow above and behind her. Maybe she knows where to go...?
> Huh... who is that...?
> Keep following.
> Is that who Madotsuki's running at? Huh...
> Keep following quietly, watching Konngara.
> Oh~, Konngara must be doing that weird anti flying thing she did to us, Hatate, and Utsuho!
> Well, might as well say hi. "Konngara!"
> Fly towards her, keeping an eye on Madotsuki.
> Land near her, but not next to her. Keep your distance from her for now.
> "Ah... good morning... So, what's up with all of these jellyfish?"
> "Ah... say, have you seen a human around here? Blonde, answers to 'Mary', that sort of thing?"
> "Thanks, Konngara. Oh, um... I talked to Miss Hijiri, she said that you're welcome to visit Kikuri at the temple at any time..."
> "... Er... so, I'm just going to, uh... find Mary, now... Take care of yourself..."
> Gather up Madotsuki, and head to where Konngara indicated.
> "She might've, if she knew where she was, and I probably should've asked her for more information, but... it's just awkward trying to talk to Konngara..."
> Keep moving.
>How's Kogasa doing in Konngara's wake?
> "It's loud, whatever it is..."
> "You wanna try?"
> Hop onto one of the jellyfish.
> Hop to the closest jellyfish that leads upwards. Look back to see if Madotsuki and Kogara are following.
> "Hey, Koga, do you need help?"
> Reach out and help Kogasa. "Silly karakasa... I bet this wouldn't've happened if you were in my pocket!"
> "Heh, nope~. Now, we gotta catch up to Mado!"
> Leap from jellyfish to jellyfish.
> Swing our arms from side to side, and do the Mario! Hop hop hop!
> Okay, enough playing around. Start making our way to the top.
> "Do you see Mary?"
> Follow her gaze.
> "That's Mary?"
> "... Poniko said that there was someone that looked like her trying to get her to do something..."
> Narrow eyes, and start approaching her.
> "'Scuse me, Mary? Can we talk to you?"
> "Madotsuki told me. So what are you doing out here? Why did you ask Mado to come down here? What were you planning with Poniko?"
> "Uh... Poniko. Lived in Mado's dreamworld, looked exactly like you, someone who looked like her was trying to control her to do something..."
> "Huh... so... I guess the question is, 'who are you?', then..."
> Does she look dangerous?
> Reach out and shake her hand. "I'm Kochiya Sanae..."
> "Yes, I do. I live in the Moriya Shrine, up on Youkai Mountain. I'm the shrine maiden there. Are you not from around here?"
> Glance back at Madotsuki.
>"If you've never been here before, how did you get here? It's not like there's any open invitations with the Great Hakurei Barrier and all..."
>For that matter, how'd WE get into Gensokyo again?
> "Ah, yes, there's many places, places I've never been. So... where are you from, then?"
> Where was the Moriya Shrine, in the Outside World?
> "Really?! Kyoto?!"
> Wow, so she's from the Outside World!
> "Huh, your name isn't Japanese... maybe you're from one of those American bases? Wow, I haven't seen anyone from the Outside World in a long time, and now there's Mado and you! So what's been going on out there, anyways? How did you get here, anyways? It took two goddesses to move us here!"
> "Quarantined? Hm... I guess that's kind of correct, but not really. You really don't know where you are? So why're you just hiding out here instead of going to the city or the Human Village or something? Heck, if you're human, how are you even surviving out here?"
> "Huh... for, what, four, five days straight?"
> Lean forward towards her... and poke her in the forehead.
> "Ah!"
> That was surprising! So she really is...
> ... Uh... what is she?
> "Uh... are you sure you're not a ghost?"
>"Well, I guess the Grim Reaper has been eating for five days straight, then!"
>"Hmm.. So if you're not a ghost, either you or everyone that's seen you must be hallucinating... I guess there's your answer!"
> Glance at Madotsuki curiously. "Did you have any questions...?"
> Where's Kogasa?
> "Asleep? Huh... wait, does that even work? Gensokyo really isn't a dream world... though... Pyonta-kun said that the one I made was an alternate world... and Gensokyo's kind of an alternate world... so, if Maribel went to sleep in the Outside World, then..."
> Huh, it is possible...
> "Wait, but would that mean that you've been asleep for several days straight? Wouldn't that just be a coma, then?"
> "Just press '9'.You could try: it works in all of the dreams we've been in, right, Mado?"
> "Ah! But before you do, could you tell me what the Outside's like right now?"
> "Just fine? That's kind of... uh, one last thing: just what did you think was here?"
> "'A really cool ghost'? What, you didn't meet the half ghost swordsman gardener ghost herder or her boss, the ghost princess? Between those two, Mado, and the alien sailor ghost, there's lots of cool ghosts around here."
> "I don't think I know of a wizard ghost..."
> Do we?
> "Haven't you gone around and asked other people? Standing here on top of jellyfish doesn't seem to be a productive course of action..."
> Reach for her arm to stop her.
> "Well, next time you come here, why don't you?"
> "Well, you can't really find any wizard ghosts if you hang out with jellyfish all day! Just stop by the Moriya Shrine next time!"
> Fold our hands in front of us and smile. "Mado, did you want to say anything to Maribel before she goes back... uh... to her body or something?"
> "Huh, that'd be interesting... two twins meeting each other... heck, we can find that 'Yukari' customer that people keep talking about, and you all would be triplets!"
> "Well... have a safe trip home, then!"
> Panic.
> Remember that we can fly.
> Remember that Madotsuki can't fly.
> Catch Madotsuki.
> "It's all right, Mado, I got you..."
> Hover down to the ground, and let Madotsuki get to her feet.
> "Huh... that was unexpected... I guess she was responsible for the jellyfish..."
> We probably should've asked her about them before...
> "Yeah... so... um... I wonder what all that was about. She was a dreamer from the outside world...?"
> ... Does this mean that the incident's officially resolved? Are we forgetting anything?
> "Hm... well... uh... so, is there anything you guys want to do? We can take you back to Hakugyokurou so you can get some rest, I guess."
> "All right, so let's go ahead and take Madotsuki home for now, then."
> Pick Madotsuki up, and make our way back to the surface.
> Smile, and be sure to fly carefully so she doesn't wake up.
> Also make sure we don't run into any spiders, ick.
> Hmm~... What time is it?
> "Hey, Kogasa... would you be up for a dip in the hot springs?"
> Gently nudge Madotsuki awake.
> "Hey, Mado~, wanna take a dip in the hot springs before you go back? It might help you recover..."
> Well, we're all in agreement. Head to the springs!
> Hm... could it be Kanako-sama? Drop... 60 currency inside the offeratory, and let's head inside and get ready for the bath.
> Go ahead and start getting ready for the bath.
> Pick out some soap and wait for Madotsuki and Kogasa to get ready. While we're waiting, briefly glance around at the other baskets to see if we see some familiar clothes.
> "Ready, Koga?"
> Go into the bath!
> "Yeah, I know... maybe all of the fairies are on their lunch break... if you want, we can come back later..."
> Any fairies we recognize?
> "Okay, then let's enjoy ourselves!"
> Get washed, and offer to scrub Kogasa's back.
> "Need help, Mado?"
> Are the fairies behaving themselves?
> Well, wrap up our hair to keep it dry, and slide into the water. Ah~
> Stretch out, and relax in the spring.
> "Ah~, it's nice, isn't it? And so pretty with all of the snow..."
> There's really not much to do except relax a bit. We'll stay here until one of us starts to get sleepy or well boiled, the fairies cause too much of a commotion, or Suika steps on the changing room.
> Dry off and change, making sure that our hair is dry. It'd be no good if we caught a cold. Check Madotsuki's and Kogasa's as well.
> Double check our belongings.
> "All right, next stop, Hakugyokuro!"
> Fly upwards with Madotsuki and Kogasa in tow to Hakugyokuro.
> Make tracks up the stairs to get to the warmth of Hakugyokuro!
> Wave. "Yuyuko! We brought Mado back!"
> "Miss Hijiri whipped up some medicine to cool her down, but she said that Mado should rest and drink plenty of fluids for the next few days."
> Nod. "Also, we found that girl that went with Madotsuki to the Underground: she was apparantly a dreamer, or something, from the Outside World. But she's awake now, so everything's back to normal. Oh, and I gave that oni that beat up Youmu a good talking to!"
> "Well, not really... I just told her what happened to Youmu. She was quite surprised actually, and she said she'll apologize to Youmu next time she sees her. So, speaking of which, how's everything up here?"
> Ah. Glance at Madotsuki.
> "How does she figure out which ghosts go down there?"
> "Ah, so that's how it is..."
> Hopefully Madotsuki doesn't decide to go too soon... but if she does go, then she should be fine.
> "Oh, speaking of which, would it be possible, not now, just later, to borrow say... a heck of a lot of ghosts? You see..."
> Explain our giant ghost robot idea to Yuyuko.
> "It'll be a blast! We could even make an exhibition match out of it, and have a party while it's going on! But, if you're not fine with it, then okay. In any case, I hope you have a pleasant day. I'll contact you when I find out a good day to have a post incident party!"
> Bow to Yuyuko, then turn to Madotsuki.
> "Get better soon, Mado, and come by anytime! We could definitely use another cute girl as a shrine maiden for festivals! And... when you move on, be sure to visit before you leave."
> Hug Madotsuki.
> Give Madotsuki a final squeeze, and back away.
> Once Kogasa is done (or bothers) giving her own goodbyes, start heading back, waving.
> When we reach the stairs, give Kogasa a sly look. "You know... I've been carrying people around all the time lately... Madotsuki, Monoe, you..."
> Stand in front of Kogasa, wrap our arms around her shoulders and hop so that Kogasa can catch us bridal style! Hover a bit, if she really needs the point put across.
> "I'm light, huh~. I guess that's better than saying I'm getting fat, right?"
> "True, true. So, what are you waiting for, take me away~♥"
> "Hm... you know what? They don't need us at that meeting. Let's go wherever you want to go~"
> Lean against Kogasa. "Hey, Kanako-sama went to bed pretty quickly. Do you think she talked to Reimu about that bandage arm girl?"
> "Maybe..."
> Did we leave anything in our room in the underground?
> "So, I guess it's my turn to talk to Reimu?"
> Reluctantly wriggle out of Kogasa's hug, and stand up. "So, I'll head there, then, before it gets too late. Do you want to sleep here, or at the hotel down under?"
> "Okay. So, how about you go ahead and stay here, and I'll go and talk to Reimu. Have you figured out what you want me to do during the dream?"
> "Ah, Rapunzel style? Maybe I should hide up in a tower, too, and you'll have to climb up my hair. Hm... and have the tower guarded by moat dragons, and Zakus, and oni mikos..."
> "Well, then you're going to be rescuing me tonight~"
> Get our scarf and hat on, and read to the Hakurei shrine.
> Land in the courtyard, and start walking up to the shrine. "Reimu! Good evening!"
> "I just wanted to talk to you for a little bit. Is that all right?" Give her a look that says 'no, it's not all right'.
> We'll just come straight to the point. "So, why are you so vicious with incidents and youkai? You got in so many fights in the last week when you could've just talked, and you still didn't accomplish a lot."
> "Oh, please, like with Konngara? You didn't even bother asking her why she had Youmu's swords, and she was just keeping them safe the entire time! And you beat up Orin, too, so that she would do the job that she was already doing! Also, I was talking to someone who told me that you beat her up a few years back just so you could have her book! Is literacy among youkai such a bad thing?"
> "Reimu... did you know that I fixed the ghost and jellyfish problem without getting into a fight, by just talking to the ones responsible? Or that when me, Marisa, and Patchouli went to fetch Sakuya from the Prismriver Mansion we didn't even need to use force?"
> "And besides, if you're so distrustful of youkai, then why bother befriending them, then?"
> "Then why do you bother sharing your shrine with Suika, then? Why not just kick her out? Okay, well, how about this? Why do you visit Satori so often, sharing tea with her? It's not like she happens to live around the corner, she lives pretty far away!"
> "Because why? Because you're a hypocrite, that's why. You say that youkai aren't to be trusted, that they just crowd around you. They just want to be your friends, and you want that too! Back then, yeah, youkai were to be exterminated, because they hurt humans, but now? They're peaceful! When things aren't being settled through spellcard, they're taken care of by just talking or even playing with them! You don't need to exterminate them any more, times have changed! And since you don't need to exterminate them any more, then what's to keep you from becom- no, you're already friends with many youkai, you just need to actually accept that!"
>"Just solve incidents, and deal with youkai when they are a problem, Reimu. I mean, Utsuho kinda needed it, right? Just, you don't have to do it all the time. I mean, I was right there during the whole Bykauren thing, remember. And now Kogasa and I are together. It'll be okay for you to beat up youkai when they're misbehaving, and be friends when they're not. "
> Wait, didn't the dream Hakurei, Tamiko, say that the Hakurei were the guardians of the Great Boundary?
> "And besides, isn't the job of the Hakurei Clan to insure that the Great Boundary is safe and secure?"
>"It's okay to do two things. Do you think police have to hate everyone because they're police? No, they have friends and families and stuff, too. It's okay to be friendly two and friends with youkai that aren't doing anything wrong. You're just hurting yourself to turn them away because of what they are."
>Smile
>"That's why I'm here, because it's not good for you to do this to yourself."
> "Yes. You don't realize how much of an impact you've had on the youkai here, do you? I've heard all about how you've had tea with all these youkai, a vampire in a mansion, a ghost princess, two goddesses and their miko, a satori and her pets, and made peace with them, even after they caused incidents. Really, those youkai that hang around you just want to thank you, and you cutting yourself off from them isn't good for you. When you throw in the fact that you don't get in contact with very many humans..."
> Pause for a moment. "... Did you know that Satori is fond of you?"
> DEEEEEENSE
> Ah, well, we'll let her figure that one out herself: we've mucked around in too many people's love lives this week.
> "She always has her doors open for you, even though she's a youkai and you're a youkai exterminator. If you don't believe me about youkai appreciating you for being you, and what you've done for them, just go and ask her how she really feels about you. I can guarantee that what she has to say will blow you away."
> Okay, we'll meddle just a bit more. :3
> "Hm, I think she'd be happy to see you no matter what time, but that's probably for the best. You should definitely go first thing tomorrow, though."
> Walk over to the porch and sit down, patting the floor next to us as an invite for Reimu to sit down with us. "Ha~... really, though, you've done such great things, Reimu... it's honestly painful to see you hurting so much..."
> Grimace. "Yeah, I met a few people just over the last few days who were hurting from loneliness and the like... Layla, the person who was keeping Sakuya captive, lived alone in a run down mansion... Madotsuki, the ghost girl that lead all of the ghosts to the oni city, only really had friends in her dreams... several other people including those people I met in that dream world..."
> We won't mention Kikuri, since that's just asking for trouble.
> "But... probably the biggest example is Konngara. She lives by herself away from everyone else, the only friend I know she has is Kikuri, and... she recently had her heart broken by someone she liked..."
> Watch the snow fall as well. "Yeah, it's especially hard for her... and why I want to see you get over this nonsense with not admitting that you're friendly with youkai."
>"It's a tricky situation."
>"You know, Reimu, there's a lot of youkai that are nocturnal. You could go down there right now, and talk with Satori. And she'd love that, I'd bet."
> "Like I said, she'll have her doors open for you any time, and even if it's too late to talk, you can spend the night down there. It's got to be better than up here alone, on a snowy hilltop."
>"C'mon. I'll even go with you if you want. Been sleeping too much lately, anyways."
> Grin, and stand up.
> "Well, lead the way?"
> Keep following.
> Ah, since we're going, we might as well ask... "Hey, Reimu, did Kanako-sama speak with you today?"
> Following, and we're following...
> "Just curious what you talked about. She asked about that friend of yours with the hurt arm, right?"
> "Kasen... huh? Hm... I wonder why Kanako-sama's so interested in her..."
> "Oh, a hermit?"
> What do we know about hermits?
> "Ha~, that's interesting!"
> Continue down the path.
> "Parsee was fishing with that girlfriend of hers this morning, so she might've turned in already."
> Continue on while glancing curiously at the snow. "I wonder where all of this snow comes from...? Does it rain down here, too?"
> "Wow, magic can do everything, can't it? Grows crops and makes snow..."
> Continue on to Chireiden.
> "I bet they are. Go on ahead."
> Walk with her up to the gates, but don't head to the door.
> Smile, and sigh in relief. Satori should be able to take care of the rest.
> Head back home with a spring in our hover.
> Oh, make sure we grab our and Kogasa's things from the hotel room first.
> Pack it up, and head home.
> Hesitate. How does she look right now...?
> Follow her, discreetly. Does she seem to be moving with a purpose?
> Work up some courage, and call out to Konngara.
> Walk up to her. Swallow that nervousness.
> "Ah... thank you for your help earlier today. That helped with a few issues that were kind of lingering..."
> "Yeah, turned out that Maribel was connected to them somehow, and they disappeared when she work up..."
> Shift awkwardly.
> "So... um... have you thought about going up to see Kikuri? I told you that Miss Hijiri gave you permission, right?"
> "I-it's okay, really! I'm sure that she'll be happy to see you, and she won't think that you're neglecting her! I mean, it's been a crazy couple of weeks since then, and she's been busy with things and you've been busy with things... it's really the best thing to do, for the both of you, I think."
> So it worked... but she sounds pretty distraught... did we hurt her with that dream...?
> Try to smile at her.
> "So, how about this, then? Tomorrow morning, why don't you take a visit to the temple? Meet with Kikuri, talk to her. She won't think that you were neglecting her. You can't really find that out if you don't take that leap though, right?"
> Oh no, does it sound like she's going to break down?
> If it does, then say: "Hey, you look tired. I have a room rented here, how about you take a break?"
> Gently take her by the arm, and lead her back to our room, trying to avoid crowds.
> Hurry up and pull her into our room.
> Let go of Konngara, and pull out the futon.
> "Ah, here, you can rest here tonight..."
> ... She really needs this.
> Take off the backpack holding our stuff, and gently give Konngara a hug.
> Stroke her hair. "I'm sorry..."
> Stay there as long as it takes for Konngara to go to sleep.
> Tuck her into the futon, and brush her hair away from her face.
> "I'm really sorry, Konngara... that I couldn't be what you wanted me to be... and that I tried to change you... dream well, and I hope you can be happy with Kikuri."
> Kiss her on her head, next to her horn, stand up, take our things, and quietly head home.
> \o/
> So, thinking of post game questions to ask, but the first one should be clear: How long did you expect the game to take? Not in real time, but as far as sequence of events? There really didn't seem to be a clear goal at the end, like there was with Parsee Quest ("Defeat Kikuri").
>Yeah, the lack of clear goal bit lead me to think more was coming in terms of Maribel doing things, ending here kind of caught me off guard.
>DID RAN AND PARSEE HANG OUT?
>I've got to ask... What would have happened if we picked Konngara over Kogasa?
>Was there anything you planned on happening that we simply walked right past / ignored?
> So... which of the parts did you have to make up on the spot?
> What was the deal with Charlotte and Tomiko? You hinted at something to me about Charlotte in IRC, so I'm wondering if there's more to it.
> Where was Reimu in the dream?
> What would've happened if, instead of forcing Reimu to see Satori, we had, say, dragged her into the dreamworld and forced her to meet Tomiko?
> What's the deal with Parsee in the dream?
> Aside from the severe mishandling of Konngara I did (;_;), were there any opportunities for BAD ENDS?
> Was your original plan for Sanae to achieve divinity?
> What plots did we miss? I know we missed out on the Prismrivers, but was there anything else? (Asked by Kanjou, but still)
> How did Marisa react in the morning? :3
> DID RAN AND PARSEE HANG OUT?
Yay! Well then, some questions:
>What kind of other endings were possible?
>In how much was the whole Yume Nikki dreamworld and stuff planned?
>Was it possible to get both Kogasa and Konngara in our harem?
>Would Konngara been down with triangulation; given Kogasa wasn't?
>Does/did K-dawg have any ill will toward Kogasa? (Or do we not get to find this out yet?)
>Was it possible to get both Kogasa and Konngara in our harem?
> If you really wanted to. I just wanted the love triangle problem fixed so it wouldn't show up later, so I let everyone be creative on how to solve it.> FFFFFFFF
> FFFFFFFF
> And I completely forgot about Kyouko. Isn't it sad?
> So, what was your initial reaction to my PM about Ghost Hisoutensoku? :3
> What happened to Maribel in the real world (if that was Maribel)?
> What's the relationship between Yukari, Maribel, and Poniko?
> Do people that we "wake up" in the dream remain awake in dreams, or do they revert back until we wake them up again?
> Why do you not believe me when I say that Yuuka's Ursula in your stories?
> Keystone: plot hook for future story/quest?
> Why were so many of the characters children? (Konngara, Yuugi, Ran, Patchy...)
> What is Sanae the goddess of, technically speaking? For some reason, I have it in my mind that her dominion is dreams...
> Oh, and what's Pyonta-kun's gender? Or what the hell is he?
>Here is your next sidequest idea: Pyonta-kun vs Fox-form Ran with Parsee as a rider.
>Was there any reason why there were red jellyfish, aside from being random dream things?
>Have I had Yume Nikki spoiled to fuck and back in this?
> All right, BGM time. Any themes you had in mind?
> Okay, two last questions, the first not so important, but the second so dire that it needs to be in spoiler tags...
> First, what nationality is Parsee?
> Second...Does Sanae become the IRON CHEF of Gensokyo?
>More BGM!
>Bath Scene with Kasen.
>The Feeling of Death. [Dream Creation / Saved by Gengetsu.]
>Wandering the Flower Field...
>Yuuka Encounter! [Spark!]
>The 'Rescue' of Parsee.
>Hisoutensoku vs Suika!
>Are you going to do another quest? And if so, can it be Satori this time?
>Satori? Whilst I'd love to see more of Satori x Reimu, let us go for someone else...
>Perhaps... Actually, I'm going to go discuss something with Himiko.
>...
That doesn't mean we won't keep asking!
(Yuyuko's quest for the Mystic Dragon!)
Is it okay if I provide a BGM for a certain moment?
This one tune I found almost perfectly fits it.
That's the mystery! Best plot ever!
(Semi-related to Yuyuko and Youmu's script in Imperishable Night!)
This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJPtA7DeDWA&feature=related).
I can't think of a title, but it really fit Konngara. when we turned her down, seeing her as an adorable little shrimp in the dream, and comforting her at the Inn.
The song itself is the pocket watch version of The Whereabouts of Smile from Kamen Rider ZO.
In a way, the title itself fits.
>Now that I think about it...Since we could've gone for a harem ending, would Kogasa have been okay with it? Since we know Konngara would have been cool with it.
>Requesting: Parsee Quest 2: Gengetsu's Counterattack (feat. Ran)
>SPEAK OF THE DEVIL!
>What would have happened if we actually punched Gengetsu properly? Danmaku fight?
>And also, could we have died during dream creation?
> What's the relationship between Yukari, Maribel, and Poniko?
At any rate, this was a great adventure.
To think, while I'm still on my second thread of my first text adventure, you're already going to be running your third soon!
Heh, some folks just do more than others huh?
