> You move Okuu to a chair by the counter and take over egg-cooking duty.  It looks like they've been cooking well now.  Not much longer and you could strain them and put them in a bowl.

> You stick some bread in the toaster and crack open a few more eggs over a frying pan.  You think you have five minutes before the boiled eggs are done.  In the meantime, you swipe a jar of jam from the fridge.

> With Okuu on the case, you're free to finish making the breakfast.  You take the toast out of the toaster and put it on a plate, with the jam next to it.  You take a break from frying the eggs to getting the boiled ones to a strainer over the sink.  Those, too, are put in a bowl.  Finally, you finish frying the other eggs and putting them onto their own plate.  The whole kitchen smells delicious.

> Unless it's a special occasion, the residents come and go as they please.  This is due to different schedules: Orin and Okuu are early risers because of work, Satori sleeps in, and who knows what Koishi is even up to at this hours.

> Reaching the front door, you see the very unsurprising sight of water continuing to gush over the City.  However, the usual echoing clamor indicates that everything is under control.  Only two of Satori's dogs are out in the front yard right now, most likely for a morning run.

> You head out and look around the front yard for footprints.  You don't see any, but that's probably because there's a stone path for Sanae to have taken if she ran out.
> You call out to the dogs.  One of them barks at you.  The other does that thing where it stomps its front paws on the ground the way dogs do when they're excited.
