When a supporting unit is under attack the support turns in to a hold order, so it is the easiest solution if you don't know which area will be attacked.

No, apparently that move is a weak one and counts as 0 units moving. And I didn't figure out what he meant by supported the move until after the time ran out.

PS. For clarification:
I've to confess that I misunderstood the map as default with just a few additional regions and supply centers, and interpreted such as Cordoba - North Africa as similar to Denmark - Sweden, only after I reread the variant description I found this modifications:
