It hasn't occured to you that sometimes the RP simply has higher standards than what you usually produce?

I'm not trying to sound like an ass here but I get the feeling that you try doing roughly the same amount of work each time and when it doesn't work you chalk it up to "Oh well, it was one of those bad times"

Yeah, I'm lazy.

But the quality of work depends on the materials I have, I've gotten Heal quite smoothly and there are some roleplays where I overdid it(TekkenRP). If I couldn't make a Taoist work then I might as well be one of those '11th hour characters'.

Well looking at other RPs and how the players do them can help.

Though I too kinda take inspiration from various influences which is probably why I'll never actually try and make a RP myself. But I generally just see if it would work in a RP, and dilute it with other influences if possible.

Now those. I think those are more encountered in video games and such.
Cause I can gurantee that not every little detail of npcs and such came from my head. Most have a certain thing that inspired them. Such as one NPOC's appearance being inspired by my hat slowly falling off my head.

So basically:

-We all wake up (depending on the person anyway) and/or go to some gathering
-Some aren't at their jobs yet, so they'll go there (mostly SDM?)
-We all know each somewhat, or at least, went under Keine's teaching

No. iirc Senri and Tetsumaru are the only ones who know each other. None of the other characters know eachother. They haven;t spoke, they don't know eachother's names.
As for Keine. Keine's a pretty well known person amongst the Human village anyways. So even if one didn't go to school, they could have still heard of her. Though I believe most would be even slightly acquainted with her. Then there are those that have deeper ties to Keine. Such as Sora and Yumiko.

Also I hope everyone has even the slightest clue where they're going with their character.

My guy's pretty much a live-for-the-moment kinda guy, so he's likely to go just about anywhere in the grand scheme of things.
If there's a good fight to be had, he'll be there.
If there's tasty sweets to eaten, he'll be there.
If there's faces that need punching, he'll be there.
In fact, if there's just about anything that needs doing, chances are he'll be the one doing it.
