Name : Kochiya Amaya
Age : 17
Gender : Female
Ability : Power of Purification.
Occupation : Moriya Shrine Maiden
Appearance : Amaya is a feminine but athletic young woman with long hair that go down to her hip. She has yellow eyes and green hair, like her mother (used to have). She is wearing extravagant miko clothes. She wears a vest that leaves her back and shoulders open. Her arms are covered by detached sleeves. The main colours of her cloths is blue and white.
She also is wearing a real long white scarf that close to two times as long as Amaya. It never gets dirty :V
A grass snake is with her, wrapped round her arm or hides under the sleeves. It doesn't have poison and is harmless.
Personality : Amaya is a kind person who is willing to help those in need. She is extroverted and open to the most people or youkai. It is her duty to bring her Shrine faith and she tries as hard as possible to do so. She has much confidence in her abilitys.
Amaya doesn't like winter at all, she hates the cold weather and the snow and tries to stay inside as often as possible during that time of the year. She prefers a mild weather like spring or fall much more.
There are not many thing she treasures. One is her scarf she got by an unknown man in the human village during a cold winter night when she was very young. Since she doesn't like winter very well and she was unpleased with all the snow in the human village and the cold weather. She was obviously very unhappy about it. The unknown man couldn't stand the unhappy little girl and so he gave her his extralong white scarf. It was way too long for Amaya but it was warm and it made her very happy.
The other thing is a grass snake she named Vin she carries arounds with her. She saved the snake when it nearly got eaten by a eagle and is feeding it since then (with some of Suwakos frogs). She keeps the Snake close and talks to it when she's alone.
Backstory : Amaya was born in 142 during a rainy night in autumn. Sanae took it for a sign and named her "rainy night".
She never left the shrine till she turned 6. Since the shrine is on the top of the youkai mountain it would have been nice for her to see some other humans for some time, but all that showed up where youkai and weird other persons.
On a cold winter day, Sanae took Amaya with her to visit the human village. Is wasn't as buzzy as Sanae talked about it. Well it was winter so most people stayed at home.
It was fun to finally see other humans but all the snow didn't make her happy at all. After they met Keine-Sensei and they were about to go home, but Sanae went into a shop to get some stuff they needed at the shrine and Amaya got left behind outside the shop. That was when she got
Sad that she couldn't remember the face of the stranger.
As Amaya became older, Sanae told her about her duty as a shrine maiden and taught her the essential things about it.
Sanae always wonders if her daughter may also be able to cause miracles, but Kanako told her, that her ability lies on a different path.
Amaya herself hasn't noticed her abilitys yet.
Even now that she is 17, Sanae still hasn't given her any hints about it.
Her usual day is sweeping the shrine courtyard and greeting and blessing the visitors of the shrine. She also has to make tea for them. When she is in human village she always looks out for people to help them. Unfortunately she doesn't come into the human village often.
Others:
She hasn't learned any fighting skills yet. Sanae usually takes care of such things. Amaya seen her mother in action but she never tried herself.
(I wonder what her danmaku would be like :3)
