And Medicine's story down. I can almost see a likable character in her, but she's too boring. Also, damn it I can't even 1cc with what's supposed to be the ultra broken character! D: I can see that youkai moe is all that got me that 1cc last night...

It took me a lot of tries to first 1CC PoFV Normal. It takes very different playstyles, both from the normal games and between characters (had a hell of a time trying to adapt to Youmu).

I have to say, the endings of this one seem especially friendly. It's neat.

it also seems like there is a different kind of input lag, even with the vsync patch. moving doesn't have any lag, but STOPPING after you let go of the button seems to lag, almost like there's a hidden tile system and you automatically move to the next tile (which I know isn't really the case). Am I the only one who experiences this with that game?

Medicine. That was probably the most comfortable PoFV Normal 1CC I've had yet.

But I don't really have a main =/. I haven't played PoFV in a while, but I'm starting again to read those endings.

I believe you can't play aya until you already beat the game once. She's intentionally overpowered for that game.

Aya's sluttiness is confirmed with the English patch's release. Her special ability...is to actually make the bullets on her side slow down. As in, the game is literally slower for her. That is ridiculous.

Well, if you play focused-only, you can set the control scheme to "charge" and hold down fire. I don't like that version of the controls, though.

You know what? I take back what I said about the phantasmagoria games starting to feel fun. That's just because I actually 1cc'd them. They're still the purest sense of the term used to describe stuff like Hell God Sword: Luck garbage.

In other news, Yuka is awesome~ That's four playthroughs in one day.

EDIT: Yeah, just wanted to clarify. I know the games are supposed to be this way. It'd be no fun if you weren't supposed to trap your opponent into situations they can't escape from. However, it does not work out to be fun when the computer can both do this and avoid any such trap you set for them. The game becomes unbalanced, and not fun.

So far I've beaten it with Sakuya on normal, but it ate all my continues. Tried Reisen, but I was only able to get to Shikieiki with one life (Knocked her down to two bars, though).
