Touhou lag help [SOLVED]

Any ideas on what may be causing this amount of lag?

It's probably your video hardware.  For Touhou games, you need to make sure you have actual hardware 3d graphics acceleration, and specifically non-Intel hardware at that.

Hijacking this topic, since I've got a similar problem and I feel we might have the same "solution".

Runs mostly fine, but UFO and onward sometimes dips to 45-50, and a big freeze in GFW makes it drop to 20-30. Trying to record with Fraps makes even IN drop to 40, and TD to a horrible 4.

Is there any thing I can do?

Only way around it is to get better hardware.  =[

EDIT: Vsync fixed the problem and I have another question. How do I get Vsync to run the english exe.

Did you rename the th##e.exe? That's the only thing I remember having to do for all that aren't EoSD.
