Like, if you tried absorbing a sword, for example, you could still get hurt if you went ahead and stabbed yourself with it, but once you absorbed it you'd be totally fine.

The spell that will keep private individual memories private won't go away over time, and perfect fusion isn't permanent unless you actively try to absorb everyone together to make a true fusion. Miss Hamiya was herself for what, like, over a week straight? And she was still able to separate just fine. There shouldn't be any danger whatsoever, unless parts of you are starting to really dislike other parts of you.
