at least John's still reviving instead of having some AMAZING TWIST happen so he ends up staying dead

and if Rose is still doing the plan to blow up the Green Sun, Aradia can -hopefully- save her from dying in the process. Since Aradia is there, that's still something that happened (I think).

There's also that thing about Doc Scratch mentioning there being another way to achieve God Tier (This was a short bit before Rose went GRIMDARK, for reference). I think it'd be odd if he mentioned it and then no one used it. Although it might have just been a reference to how Aradia did it but hey remember how aradia was already dead and then her dreamself dying on the bed gave her god tier. So I guess this second bed gives you God Tier via your dreamself dying, instead of the first bed that gives it to you when your normal self dies.

Or something. I dunno. I'm rambling. But it would open doors if people with only their Dreamself alive could still achieve God Tier. *Poofs*

I'm not sure about "just" specifically, but getting slaughtered by Jack would certainly be appropriate, given that a lot of her bullshit was just because she wanted to be the one to beat him. (And it's safe to say she doesn't stand a fucking chance)

Also Jack is one of my favorite guys so it would certainly make me smile :3
