That was a dumb-ass challenge with the game lost. You're now out for England on top of being the first South American team Costa Rica's beaten.

Uruguay lined up with fossil ancient grandpa 65+ team. They should've all retired. And no, vampire Suarez with his golden hands wasn't going to save them either way.

Also that red card was well deserved. That was a very disgusting sweeping kick. Maturity--

Edit:
Next up us Italy vs England. Even if the game begins 0:00 in my timezone (damn you timezone) I'll probably watch first half or so to see whether it is worth watching.

It starts at 1:00 here and afaik it isn't even aired in any of the channels. Actually, the 4:00 AM Japan game is aired and this one isn't, wtf TV.

It started, and I just seen the first Italian on the ground, and he didn't even get touched :V

Italy is starting strong, England seems to have trouble in there defense

Hoping that England lose as always. 1-1 right now though. Brilliant Italy goal.  England are playing quite fast compared to Italy.

I like how a lot of people on Twitter started going 'here we go' and what not when England went down, only for them to score back not long after.

Amusingly enough, it's 5 past midnight here... so I want be around to see what the hell happens. (I'll watch the highlights in the morning; that way I get to see the Japan results too.)

Wow..... i literally can't remember the last time i was happy after our first match in World Cup/Euro Cup...... Tomorrow there'll be flying pigs!  :V
Personal opinions after watching the match:

- Italy earned the victory but England didn't deserve to lose

- Sooo ironic that despite being infamous for our defense we don't have a good left side defender available.... the forwards of England were outsprinting Chiellini/Paletta while handstanding  >_>

All in all, it was worth it to lose a few hours of sleep to watch it :P

I just woke up to hear Italy won over England (expected that somewhat when I viewed the lineup from both teams but then went to bed)

Also Japan lost to Ivory Coast, which was somewhat expected as well. SA teams are just strong in general.

England losing an important match? Unthinkable! Meanwhile, I'm rather excited about today's Argentina - Bosnia and Herzegovina match. B&H were sensational in the qualifiers (even though their opponents weren't that good) and they've got some serious offensive potential, so I'm expecting a good, open match with many goals.

Well, color me disappointed. That was a terrible first half. Looks like Argentina is trying to sleepwalk their way out of the group (just like Uruguay vs Costa Rica, and we remember how that turned out) while B&H are too scared to give them the beating they deserve.

Late, but Mexico winning its first match (even though two more goals should have probably counted, I don't care as long as Mexico actually wins) and Spain going down in flames is the best possible combination of outcomes that I can use as leverage to make my Spanish friend cry. It's beautiful. I can't wait for Chile vs Spain.
