this week the Sophomores are practicing for the state test whatever thing they have to do, so we haven't really been doing anything in most of our classes. in Spanish we watched a video on the Mayans.

the video talked about a Bat God-thing that had crossbones on his wings and i was like "oh baby" and drew Ms. Unnamed Bat Youkai.

i think i imitated ZUN style pretty well. i'll do a finalized version(in color?!) later.

Oh, I love this one, she looks really forlorn and there is a distinct childish beauty about it.Bittersweet? I think so too, and I hope you get better this way, this is really quite some improvement, now if only I can draw something other than a smile or a frown.

well, we really haven't gotten into many in school yet, but i especially liked Greek and Roman.

Greek and Roman are great. Especially when you probe the little differences. Like how Ares in pretty much god of brutality, but Mars is actually more of a tactician and general.

The moral of Greek mythology is that Zeus is kind of a jerk~

I'd recommend checking out some of the older mythologies too, like Egyptian and Babylonian, as they have some pretty awesome concepts in them too. Especially the Epic of Gilgamesh if you have time to read it~
