I think that at least for the bios,abilities, and storyline in game, it'd be best if we could make Ijiyatsu more able to stand on its own. By that, I mean having it still sorta make sense to people who don't know the person its based from or aren't that familiar with CPMC. This would make the game a little more accessible for those that aren't deeply involved with the boards.
Not saying we have to change much, and the abilities or stuff can still be weird fitting and fitting with the style and humor of CPMC and its denizens. I'm talking about just defining the game loosely enough to give a lot of freedom to creativity outside the game, but still giving enough detail to where you have enough information to springboard from.
Of course, this wouldn't apply to any fiction/fanworks/etc that's not directly part of the game itself *koffRurofickoff*, since the beauty of having a very vague and non-detailed canon like Touhou is it allows so many interpretations and derivative works.

I think once we have closer to a completed product, that would be the best time put up some kind of gameplay video on Nico. Maybe make some kind of Demo with the first 3 stages completed to download too.
There are three major reactions: japanese go "WTF is this lolololol gaijin sux", they go "Meh, whatev" or "Oh ya what is this? Interestingu!"
Whatever happens with outside reaction, it doesn't really matter in the end since this game is being made largely for our own enjoyment. But if other people can enjoy it too, why not?

I'm really trying to push the idea of "be as vague as you can" in the Touhou style. It gives the most freedom for creative interpretation than setting everything in stone. We can have our own ideas of how things came to be, and 'canon' doesn't hold people back.
Try and model bios in the same way they're presented in the games. You'd be amazed how little info ZUN gives out and what else is just from fan speculation. Ok, maybe -you- wouldn't be amazed, but you know what I mean.

Hmmm... it'd probably be best to have some kind of patch or at least an explanation ready if we're going to upload this to Nico/Japanese internet-land. Once you all start getting dialog ready I can see what I can do, but my English-to-Japanese skills aren't as good as the other way around.

I can help you with working out a translation when the time comes. I'm glad you came in and said something, you were exactly who I was thinking of regarding that sort of thing.
I think saving the nico uploads for when we have the demo would be the best bet, just because we'd have the chance to make a big first impression instead of gradually trickling out stuff.

Well, I had free time in class today (durrr definition of the derivative durrr) and I was really wondering about how programming the game would work, in the grand scheme of things. In no way am I saying this is how it should be done, but this is my opinion on the subject.
SA Phantasm, in the end, is only lacking in a few departments. They successfully built the stage and imitated ZUN in Danmakufu, of all things. However, the scripting job was terrible. Messy, unorganized and full of stupid tidbits that could make it much better. Knowing this, it was probably made by one person.
I want this code to be extraordinarily organized. Not just neat, but coded as though to give other people inspiration that want to work on similar projects, and for the script to be easily navigable. I know for a fact that pretty much anyone who's ever used Danmakufu at one point tried to use CtC as a reference and found that they couldn't because everything in there is chaotically messed up. If this gets done, it should be able to be used as a resource for other people as well. Another thing, is we'll have at least a few people working on it. This means that we need a set of rules that we're going to use for scripting, or else there will be contrast everywhere and nobody will be able to figure out what another has done. This means unless you're using a small looping temp variable, you shouldn't have letter variables or undescriptive names, and instead use detail and lots of comments.
These things have lead me to believe that instead of starting bottom-up, we should build a giant library of tasks, subroutines and functions and create the game around that library. As in, motherfucking huge. If we can build each section of code piece by piece, it will end up much easier to program the stage, mechanics and basically the game itself. Attached to this post is a list I made noting everything I could think of that might be part of this library. It is incomplete and a bit messy because it was just scattered thoughts, but it's getting there. If we can build the game around a library of functions that spiders around itself, it will be easy to reference, use common data nicely and be very clean. If we can build this then each person working on the script will use more or less the same functions and confusion will be kept to a minimum on everyone's part. One more plus is that instead of waiting for all the graphics and whatever to be finished, this could have work started on it immediately.
tl;dr we should make a library of functions to make things easier for everyone in the long run

We should also establish things like having 4 or 8 space indents, sticking with one variable naming format like Hungarian notation or something, stuff like that. Also another thing about Danmakufu is people tend to either use Tasks or Mainloop for doing stuff, and we should definately stick to a single way of doing things (whatever that may be).
Also everyone should make sure to comment thier code plenty. It just makes things better and easier for everybody.

I dunno. Programming is all about knowing proper syntax, following logic and problem-solving. It really depends on how fast you can learn. You can watch Hele's tutorials (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php?topic=2852.0) if you want and continue with the written ones (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php?topic=385.0) if you're intent on at least trying it out.

What I like about your art is that you add some details here and there that weren't on the original concept art, and make it look good. Something that I don't find relatively easy to do without screwing up the whole design, in my case. >_<
Also, are those bolts of lightning I see.

I like your ideas Drake. Let me try to script an explosion function for the enemy quickly using ZUN's maple leaf.
Edit: I programmed the explosion effect. Looks like this:

The maple leafs increase size for a moment then shrink untill they are gone (I took Imperishable Night as an example). the exact animation like ammount of leaves, size, shrinkrate etc should be tweaked.
HOWEVER there is a major problem with it. First of all, even if I call the function inside @Finalize it won't show up. Same goes for spawning it before the boss dies (like on 1hp or 0). I tried all kind of things (unless I am missing something) and it keeps failing.
I discovered after various attempts that Danmakufu instantly halts ALL effects, bullets, objects upon death UNLESS there is a dialogue or card after it where you spawn the effect inside it. (Which is how I managed to snapshot the above picture)

I tried implementing if(GetLife<=0) function but it doesn't work. @Finalize overrules it and halts any code inside the enemy. I am thinking of possible code inside the stage file but then again . . . hmmm
What happens if one removes @Finalize block from the script?
edit: Even if you say so ending the card is silly. How else you want to program it?

It also looks like using mainly graphics will not work well with Event scripts. Workarounds will probably be needed.

Sixth edit: It was fine the way it was, IMO. Using 'so' doesn't fit compared to 'But' in this sentence. Let me illustrate why:
"We should go to the mall today!" "I already went shopping yesterday, but/so I guess we can go." 'But' is the correct usage in this instance, because you're giving a reason towards the contrary, yet you're going along with it anyway.
"We should go shopping today!" "I haven't been outside for a while, so I guess we can go." - Correct usage of 'so', because 'haven't been outside' is a reason supporting the first statement.
Nwbi says here that "I'm not good at fighting", because she's giving a reason why she'd rather not fight, but saying "I guess so" means that she's accepting it regardless, so 'But' is the correct word choice.
Seventh edit: If you're going with "let's," the "Yes" should probably be changed to "Yeah."

This is why whenever I was forced into random groups in class to do group presentations or research papers, I would always elect to do the paper/writing myself.
And I find that being a native speaker is a bad predictor of good writing, because for every bad paper by a native speaker i've found at least two amazing papers by a non-native speaker.

Once upon a time in the land of Ijiyatsu the splendor of idiocity decayed (c'mon). It was prophecised that three stunning deities would come and save the day (what what what). Arriving in a meadow amidst all of the pedos, three motherfuckers emerged (yeah) to teach a valued lesson, bet you'll count your blessin' at the cleaving that's about to occur!

You need to call LocateEnemy; before the main function because if the enemy disappears (or moves to an inconspicuous position, etc) using GetEnemyX and such will default to GetCenterX, which is obviously not what you what. Just

- You should watchout with variable names. As included scripts ARE affected by global variables in the main script. Therefor the function variables should have very unique names that people hardly will use. (or am I terribly wrong here now)

Hello again.
Before his recent probation, Nobu sent me a few changes which people had decided to make to the original Ijiyatsu setup. Given that the initial idea was sort of a joke, and wasn't really meant to expand into a full game, I'm happy to see the idea expanded into something so well-developed.
Here's the list I was sent:
The intention of this is to sketch out a framework for Ijiyatsu that'd be receptive to sequels and spinoffs, by being open-ended and only as specific as necessary about universe mechanics (to give spin-off works a lot of options), and having the ability for outsiders to enjoy Ijiyatsu as well while still being able to include our personality and humor into the plot, story and game.
Idiot energy
-It has always been around, just lately it's been acting funny.
-Everyone has some amounts of idiot energy in them (think of it like spiritual energy or ki that's specific to Ijiyatsu, but exists alongside normal spiritual energy).
-Having a lot of Idiot energy or being of high rank in the Pantheon isn't associated with actual stupidity, nor directly related to power level (However, the connection of 'Idiot' energy to stupidity can still be poked fun of in dialog, esp. when someone is making fun of another person. I.E. "This person has a lot of idiot energy! Oh wait, I guess they were just stupid.")
The Pantheon and world
-Our Ijiyatsu selves are based on us but still exist in their own world (I.E. there is a fuzzy fourth wall). I say fuzzy, because even in Touhou they break the 4th wall for comedic effect at times, which I think we should still have the option to do in the dialog as long as we don't overdo it.
-ID/IM/IP are those with varying levels of control over Idiot energy, and have status in the Ijiyatsu society. It is not inherent but achieved as positions can be challenged for by those directly below them.
- The ultimate governing authority on these positions (and who hold real power in Ijiyatsu) are the Moderators and TSO. They have ultimate authority and power in Ijiyatsu, but tend to let the Idiots run around and amuse them.
- Things purposely left ambiguous or not fully explained, at least for now: Exactly what kind of powers the Idiot Pantheon has over normal denizens, exactly how idiot energy works metaphysically, and the exact rules of the challenge system.
The current Incident(I.E.: "TSO is fooling around again..")
- The PCs have a nagging feeling that something is up with the IE, and feel a subconscious pull urging them to the mountains (Or wherever else Theo-nee's location ends up being)
- A lot of the denizens of Ijiyatsu have disappeared (i.e. all of the embodiments).
- When free idiot energy gathers, it forms into an embodiment that attacks mindlessly.
- The earlier bosses are mostly clueless and don't know what's going on, or in the case of later bosses, know what's going on but could not overcome the mental influence from the one controlling the IE.
- My idea is that all the PCs maybe have a random gimmick as to why they aren't affected by the mental influence of Theo-nee. I.E: Pesco's mindhax, Ruro's Shrine Janitor immunity, Gpop's control on the subconscious, etc etc.
Story behind the Incident:
- TSO was bored and gave Theorin the power to control Idiot Energy so she could set about reviving Rin Satsuki, because it'd be amusing to watch.
- The Slaves Squad (being Special Members/Resident Artist++) was unaffected and watched the proceedings out of amusement. (Nwbi, being Slaves' art student may have also been unaffected, but no one noticed because she's a Stage 1 boss.)
- Theorin has been calling all the Idiot Energy in Ijiyatsu to her in order to get enough to revive Rin, which has resulted in the Idiot energy acting funny, the mental influence, and why most people were turned into Embodiments.
- The players, in the fashion of PCB's spring energy and UFO's vault fragments, have the last idiot energy required before Theorin has enough to complete the summoning, which is why they end up fighting in the end.
- The players, searching for an answer as to why Theorin had ultimate control of the IE, search out Slaves(who was unaffected), which ends up pointing them towards TSO and the moderators.

Nono, this will still work with what I laid out before.
A music box starts up, it gradually gets slower and out of tune as a grandfather clock starts ticking louder and louder, then it chimes (bells). The music starts playing and the clock chimes eleven more times until the boss is reached, then it cuts to silence while the dialogue runs through.
Yeah, it'll work.
I'm actually mostly working on Vic's theme right now though, so we're both really jumping around. I really need to find something that will imitate ZUN sounds a bit more. We have the ZUNpet and a few other things, but there are so many instruments I don't have access to, sigh.

Mokou here, I made the original code and gave it to Drake to use.
Uh, as far as the scaling goes, I made the code a LOT more complicated by setting and deleting a new object in a loop, frame by frame in order to make it move and rotate and set new XY parameters each passing loop frame. This, of course, was before I realized putting Obj_SetScale in a loop would also work. I later fixed it up and simply forgot to delete the object when it hits 0 instead of stay at 0 after it shrinks to nothing. Oops.
Believe it or not, alpha value in vertices DOES matter even if it's ADD. It's weird I know, but if you set it less it will look more transparent and show more of the colors, the kind you're looking for. Setting all colors to 0 while alpha value is at max will give you a silhouette. (or is that just alpha blending? I don't remember.)
Anyway, feel free to change it as you like. I'm working on ZUN's style magic-circle and concentration (Mokou's resurrection type) at the moment. Good luck.

Uh, the misunderstoodment probably was because I quickly created a maple function as well (http://www.taihou.nl/mapleeffect.rar) and gave it drake on IRC for him to make it more efficient, cleanup or fool around with it. (as I am not going to use maple effect I think for my own game but for Ijiyatsu it wouldn't matter)
Which I thought he entirely modified the code (as it suddenly looked WHOLE LOT different ) that is why I thought he made it and kind of was suprised by the weird style.

I started the character sprites from scratch again. I had UFO Reimu next to the sprite so I can have a similar shape. This is what I got for GPop for now. I think it looks better than before, the problem I'm currently having is that yellow doesn't get shades.

Much better. Although yellow still does get shades, they just look a bit brownish. The brighter the color the less you have to change to make it look shadowed.

I also think it's worth mentioning that it'd be best to treat the Ijiyatsu game as a seperate continuity from the other works going around right now (Ruro's fiction and Trance's RPG, and anything else i'm missing). That's partially to keep with the open 'sandbox' of the Ijiyatsu world/characters, and to keep things from getting too confusing in the future.
Also, nice work on the Gpop and fairies, they look pretty sweet.

I think establishing a 'canon' for the game(s) is mainly important so that people can like the game and characters without having to actually know who they're based off of.

For now yes. The option always exists down the line where we -could-, in the fashion of PMiSS/Grimoire of Marisa where it adds to the canon of the games, or in a supposed Ijiyatsu 2. But that's getting ahead of things.

Great work on the sleeves. I think what Cadmas is suggesting, and something that might be possible with just some shuffling around, is maybe you can vary the movement slightly so that it ends up being one blended continuous motion? Er, let me clarify.
So, the moving parts of the sprite are hair, sleeves, and skirt. Right now, they're all moving in sync with each other and there ends up being a noticeable pause when everything stops moving at once. But maybe if you stagger their animations so they all begin at different times, it would become more fluid? I'm not 100% sure it wouldn't look weird, but its an idea. That does mean that there would always be at least 2 of the 3 parts in motion animation in any given frame.

RPR is more on CPMC as a world environment of its own than simply a container with which the events of a story unfold, so it's pretty safe to assume that RPR has no relation to Ijiyatsu apart from some crackshot allusions at most.

I was thinking that Warai no Muimi na Ongaku could be a good way to flesh out the world of ijiyatsu and give more depth and personality to its characters.
Then again, I suppose the more canon you build in, the less open sandbox freedom you get. *shrugs*

Great work on the sleeves. I think what Cadmas is suggesting, and something that might be possible with just some shuffling around, is maybe you can vary the movement slightly so that it ends up being one blended continuous motion? Er, let me clarify.
So, the moving parts of the sprite are hair, sleeves, and skirt. Right now, they're all moving in sync with each other and there ends up being a noticeable pause when everything stops moving at once. But maybe if you stagger their animations so they all begin at different times, it would become more fluid? I'm not 100% sure it wouldn't look weird, but its an idea. That does mean that there would always be at least 2 of the 3 parts in motion animation in any given frame.

After like 7 tries, I got this for the new Zengar sprite. The first few tries I made the clothes pure black, but then that made it hard to apply the shadows. Since Marisa wears black I decided to use the lightest shade of black she had and painted all of Zengar's clothes with that shade. Then the shades were a lot easier.

I think they are more like Death Fairies, but a warning appears. I think a image of the embodiment should appear like a spellcard.

This is the purpose of having them, it's a risk-reward thing, as you don't know which Embodiment you're getting and you're not sure how much more difficult the stage will become after they appear. The difference is that if you're going for lives the purpose is to not shoot at the Embodiment, which could be even more difficult than trying to blow up a UFO because you have to stay away from them. In the same way if you go for bombs you have to follow them, and all this has a definite impact on how the stages are played.

Aside from the sprites(which are basically just shrunk cutins, right?), maybe we can have a gallery mode where you can view the full portraits of embodiments you've beaten, and also get a little bio on them too.

I don't see why not. In the same way we're going to have to work around the boss-kill code, when the player loses all their lives we can give them "extra lives", link to another script with only a "game over menu" and hide the life graphics. If they continue the lives become visible, bombs come back, score resets, etc.
Although because of this if the player continues it's going to have to be at the beginning of a level, there won't be any replay function (it would be totally screwed up anyways, doesn't matter) and quit I guess would redirect to the title screen script.

Well, it's going to be hard to draw the line between 'lol forum injoke' and 'flavor of being a game based off a forum community'. Since the characters are based off of forum people, their names are going to be all over the place flavorwise anyway.
Besides, even with longer names like "KimikoMuffin", "ArashiKurobara", "TranceHime", "UncertainKitten", we can refer to them all by their nicknames in dialog (I.E. Muffin, Arashi, Trance, UK).

and yes, it is not something YOU or other people on this forum can do to sit cross legged in calm water and wait until a 3 feet long incense to finish burning. Yes, sitting, meditating, in still waters for 3 hours.

Nothing particular really, I wake up at 4am to eat breakfast, sit and meditate for 2 hours or so. 6am after we usually take showers, and there is free time which we can pretty much do any non-sinful thing we can think of, but are usually nothing. At 8-9am we will be preparing lunch for the brothers with the head monk as my teacher, we listen to his teachings (in Thai and Mandarin Chinese) and set about doing daily chores, like trimming trees that don't need to be trimmed etc or sweeping grass that doesn't need to be swept. Then from 4pm after, we have a quick meal before dinner, and set about meditating in still waters, on rocks in isolation as the monk patrols us with KYAN RODS and beat us if we look distracted.
Yes, it is quite near the anime counterpart of monasteries, except this is a thai temple, so you basically as a foreigner allow to stay silent, those who are Thai are ask to memorize the Nīlakantha dhāranī in Sanskrit or Thai, but I have a Chinese edition which I can read. In the first 2 days I used the scriptures as best as I can, by the third day I was reciting it without referring to the mantra.
So far, I have been beaten 11 times, with 7 times in the first 2 days.
I was the only foreigner there, there are 3 Thai monks with me and 1 nun, (no she is not hot, MJP!)
I found myself sleeping after 9pm and joining the spiritual prayer for 1 hour a day after dinner time with my monk brothers. We don't speak the same language, but it feels like home here.
I also drew Ruro here, so she is special to me now.
by the way, I am not fully back yet, I still have yet to find a proper new job to do, so I am looking around Thailand for that job.

Nah, no luxury stuff were taken in, left at the monastery locker which only I have the key to. It is a zen trip, you take only two things: yourself, and your mind.
I had a T shirt and a pair of shorts with suitable week long supply of underwear, nothing else.
The uniform is provided, which are a pair of grain brown cloth button up neck shirt, with a pair of loose fitting khaki like pants which are made of sandpaper if not worse, it makes me itch, but I reckon that is part of the training. If you can ignore that itch it is superwow, your mind is great.
I am looking for a job here, see if I can hold up in a foreign landscape or something you know?

Alright, since this is getting to be a bit out of hand (see below) I might as well post it here.
...my internet connection is proxy and authentication-based, meaning that most IRC clients won't work (i.e. I'm using a university proxy). The only ones that will work are (surprise!)
"browser-based" ones. Credits to anybody who can find one that actually works and isn't banned by the appropriate server (*cough*).
After messing around with quite a number of IRC Clients that had proxy-authentication support but still didn't work (random freezing / crashing / timeouts; despite having the connections set up nicely), I figured the only roundabout method of doing this is to use... an IM client. However, most of those don't even work due to... unsurprisingly, more errors! This includes the latest version of MSN (lack of proxy support last time I checked), but not the older version that I have currently installed (a 2008 build).
This more of a nuisance that I thought it would be. I've been trying on and off for weeks. And of course (unsurprisingly) everything works fine at "home".
tl;dr currently, the only way that you can contact me is via MSN, and MSN alone. Unless you can find a working solution to the above.
(for the record, AIM doesn't work, and I haven't tried anything else yet, due to a small time constraint on my end)

After the long, difficult battle against Theorist and her Maiden cronies, Zengar's first instinct had been to invite her and her friends around for a tea party. This instinct was dashed quickly when she remembered that she hated tea with a passion, but an alternative solution had come to mind. The next day had brought convenient weather, and a nearby beach was just large enough for all involved to fit in readily. Before the fighting continued, there was time for a break.
And she had her own way of relaxing at the beach.
"Zengar...is this really necessary?"
Ruro, standing a good distance back, watched Zengar disapprovingly. She'd chosen a pink bikini top with a floral design, and a pair of red shorts. She wasn't really that much of a heat person, at least not to this extent - it felt like she was on the verge of wilting away. She would have taken a dip in the water to do something about it, but leaving Zengar on her own right now could have lead to...painful consequences.
"Why not? Isn't this one of those rituals you have to perform at a beach?"
Zengar had gone for something much riskier, a black racing swimsuit with a golden trim. She held her trusty Zankantou with both hands, though her balance was slightly off compared to how she usually wielded it.
Mainly because she was also blindfolded.
"Well, yes, but most of the time people try to split the watermelon with a stick. Swords are...slightly more dangerous."
"What, you doubt me?"
Zengar swung around, the blade curving an uncertain arc.
"Ah!"
It clipped Donut's wing as it passed by, frightening her and knocking her onto the ground. The sand brushed onto her bikini, but for all the yellow dots on her multi-coloured outfit they couldn't really be made out. She rubbed at the slashed feathers, wincing slightly.
"W-Watch where you swing that, Zengar..."
Zengar's eyes were covered by the blindfold, but her raised eyebrows did enough to show her embarrassment.
"See my point now?"
Ruro wanted to throw 'I told you so' on to that somewhere, but then she'd probably come out sounding like Zengar's mother. She looked at Donut, tending to her injury, licking at the tiny pool of blood that had formed-
!!!
Ruro licked her lips unintentionally. The sight of Donut's blood had pulled out feelings that she typically did her best to repress...
"Ah. Sorry, Ruro. I'll just take this off, the-"
"No!"
Ruro suddenly flipped 180 on her opinion, reaching out to stop Zengar from pulling off the blindfold. The swordswoman looked (or at least tried to) in her direction, confused.
"Uh, sorry. I'm assuming that now you've been warned that you've learned your lesson. Feel free to continue, okay?"
She tried her best to come up with an excuse to get Zengar to continue her perilous antics, in the hope that Donut wouldn't mind losing a few more feathers. Zengar shrugged.
"Well...fine. If you're good with it, I'll just get back to my CLEAVING."
Zengar swung around again, holding the blade lower to avoid Donut's wing.
"Ow!"
She hadn't factored in the fact that Donut was now sitting on the ground, and proceeded to slice at the bottom of Donut's other wing.
"...Jeez, if it had been anyone else it would've been kind of cool, but that sword reeally hurts..."
Tiny drips of fresh blood started to fall from the wing, and Donut pulled it over to herself so she could start cleaning it.
She wasn't expecting someone else to start tending to the wound first.
"Allow me, Donut."
Ruro bent down, licking at the cut. Donut could make out a glint in her eyes that naturally caused her heart to race a little.
"H-Hey, Ruro...I'm fine here, seriously. Maybe you should go stop Zengar from killing someone..."
Even with all of her dodging ability, Donut couldn't possibly graze her way around an obstacle this big being so close to her. Ruro looked her in the eyes longingly, suddenly grabbing her by the shoulder.
"But then I'd have to miss out on having fun with you, wouldn't I~?"
Donut felt herself being pinned down, her wings fluttering uselessly behind her. Ruro's bloodlust had granted her some sort of hidden strength which the pastry couldn't hope to overcome.
"W-Wait! Please, Ruro, not right now, can I at least go get a bandage or some-kyaaaaaaaa~!"
As Ruro started putting her hands in places Donut didn't want them to go, an oblivious Zengar was too busy focusing her energies on CLEAVING this watermelon to notice the antics behind her. With a trained hand, she swung down with the Zankantou-
Shing!
The satisfying sound of slicing filled the air. Elated, Zengar pulled off the blindfold and-
"...Oh wait, it's just a rock. Dammit."
The blade hung between two pieces of an overgrown rock, a sight that would normally have been pretty impressive. Zengar, though, simply shuffled the blindfold back into place and returned to her challenge.
Just you wait, you damn watermelon...I'll CLEAVE you yet.
And in the entire interval she was unblindfolded, Zengar remained peacefully unaware of the harrassment occuring only a few feet away.
"R-R-Ruro! People are watching, you can't just-uwaaaaah~!"

Ruro felt herself being thrown into the air as TSO's hand dug into her ribs. She coughed, feeling her own blood on her lips, as she flew backwards and landed on the floor in a heap.
"K.O.!"
A voice in the distance declared the end of the match, as TSO mocked her.
"You cannot escape from ban!"
Ruro pulled her head up, brushing the blood away. Donut was lying next to her, in more or less the same state.
They'd made it through the whole tournament. They'd taken out Team Gpop, Team Rou, Team Slaves and even the Mod Team to get here, and at the end of it all was one overpowered foe that was curb-stomping them all.
"...Ruro...are you alright?"
Donut called out to her, concerned.
"...I'll survive. ...But damn, she's strong."
The admin cracked her knuckles, grinning. Despite having just taken out two top-class fighters, she seemed to be perfectly healthy.
"So...it's all up to Zengar."
Everyone's eyes were focused on the Team's captain, who until now had been leaning on the wall, covering her face with her favourite hat. As Ruro fell to the ground she had moved away, casually walking into position. She still held her hat down, not granting TSO the honour of a glance.
"I will stehn mah hands wiff yoor blud."
A simple, stone-cold threat. TSO's eyes screamed murderous intent which caused the two fallen fighters to flinch. Zengar, though, remained unfazed, lifting the hat and looking up at her foe with a grin.
"FINAL ROUND!"
Then, with a single hand, she beckoned TSO towards her.
"Hey! Cammon, cammon!"
TSO's face fell. She was being mocked, here?! On her own grounds?! There would be no mercy for this runt, she would make sure of that.
"FIGHT!"
Immediately TSO charged at her opponent, her hands posed to blow Zengar's shoulders clean out of their sockets.
"BANUHAMAKEN!"
Zengar was prepared, already wielding her trademark Zankantou. She made her own dash towards TSO with equal ferocity and strength.
"BAAARN CLEEVAH!"
Her target was the space between TSO's hands, aiming straight for her chest. It would be a sure kill, and now TSO had too much momentum to stop herself-
"Ugh!?"
Zengar was shocked to realise that she'd been stopped dead in her tracks. Zankantou had been caught between TSO's hands effortlessly. But that was impossible, she couldn't have been ready for that unless-
...Unless she KNEW I was going for the weak point!
TSO smirked.
"PREDICTABO."
She pushed the sword away from her, slamming its hilt into Zengar's stomach. The swordswoman choked as her own blade turned on her, knocking her back onto the floor.
"Z-Zengar!" cried Donut.
"Dammit..." muttered Ruro.
Zengar didn't respond for a few seconds, seemingly incapacitated. Only the absence of the declaration of 'K.O.!' from the voice in the sky showed the fight was continuing. After what seemed like an eternity, Zengar rose to her knees, using Zankantou as a makeshift crutch.
"...Damn. You're better than I thought."
TSO stared her down, still totally cold and relaxed.
"I see you aren't smart enough to lie there like the dog you are. You might have spared yourself the beating I'm about to hand you."
Zengar, back on her feet, simply shrugged.
"What can I say? I'm not the sort of girl that can turn down a fight."
TSO sighed at her foe's meaningless idealism. Her hands rose into the air, leaving her wide open.
"Well, then. I'll give you one chance. Come at me."
It was obviously a trap, and Donut and Ruro had to hold back screams to warn Zengar that it couldn't be so simple. She wouldn't have listened anyway - this was a fight, and backing down in any way was an absolute loss.
"...You're too kind...!"
Zengar charged, ignoring her wounds and running straight at the admin, who by now had taken on an almost demonic grin.
"Fool!"
Her hands began to glow, a blue energy building in them. Zengar charged on regardless, Zankantou ready to strike.
"RAAAAAAGING..."
TSO's hand began to fall to the floor, the energy within them intensifying. Anyone with an ounce of sense would have started to retreat, but Zengar continued to run headlong into the attack.
"PAHMAHBAAAAAAAN!"
As TSO's hands hit the floor, a wave of blue flames rose from it, easily taller than either its user or its target. Ruro and Donut recognised those flames - it was the Fire of Unfunny, the forbidden magic whose touch was enough to exile the victim from CPMC for good. And Zengar had dashed straight into its path.
TSO smiled behind her wall of fire. Victory was hers now, the fool had fallen for it-
"RYZING CLEEVAH!"
What the?!
She wasn't able to make out what was happening thanks to her own attack, but the confident cry of Zengar was enough to unnerve her.
Then, to her horror, she watched as Zengar threw herself over the wall, her feet mere inches from the top of the flame. She'd propelled himself into the air through one of her lesser known attacks, producing enough momentum to send her over the attack.
...Damn, I can't stop it!
Raging Permaban couldn't be cancelled out of, so TSO was locked in place for a few fateful seconds. She desperately tried to pull her fingers off the floor as Zengar landed effortlessly behind her, turning on the spot.
The blade of Zankantou began to blaze red.
"ARE YOU OK?!"
Zengar screamed nonsensically as she responded to TSO's super-move with her own. She wielded the blade like an expert, sparks trailing behind her as she dashed at the trapped admin.
"BUSTAA CLEEVE!!"
Zengar could easily have impaled TSO right there and then, but she made a deliberate effort of hitting her with the blade's side. The force was enough to knock TSO forwards a few inches...right into her own wall.
"NOOO-"
TSO's cry was cut off as she touched the flames. Her body crumbled to ashes in an instant, no doubt reforming somewhere in the Addict Recovery Center. The wall, without its caster, dissipated shortly afterward.
"K.O.! WINNERS: TEAM ZENGAR!"
""Zengar!!""
Ruro and Donut cried out in unison as they ran towards their victorious captain. Zengar wiped sweat from her forehead, throwing her hat into the distance.
"OKAY!!"

Funny you should mention this now, 'cause I had the strangest dream last night. I was playing a shmup that doesn't actually exist. My character was Sakuya, and there was an accompanying portrait on the far left side of the screen. Every time I grazed a bullet, Sakuya's outfit was ripped a little. Makes sense, I suppose. I also somehow knew that when I faced down the stage's boss, my shots would be blowing off her clothes as well, but I never got to find out who she was, because this damned death fairy took all my lives.
That was a really weird dream. Damn my pent-up sexual energy.

Well, I felt I should write something lengthy for UK here.
first off:
1. I did not intentionally drew her topless, it was just that her breasts are so perfectly drawn I felt it would have been a shame to hide it behind her swimsuit. AND NO, I shall not draw her nipples, because I think it would destroy the whole thing... maybe next time.
2. This took so long because it went through 4 drafts, which all 4 was relatively disatisfying since months ago when I say I would draw UK. It is the single most hardworked hardworking picture I ever drew.
The body was based off a model, since I only recently started to draw again, I needed time to get back to my form, or rather, improve again.
3. UK here is pictured strolling down a nudist beach or something of the sort, her eyes looking at the windy sun stroked beaches with the gentle flow of crystal clear water, she had to squint a bit from the reflection.
4. This was based off Slaves's drawing of her, with a tad bit shoulder length hair and the 'ehehehe' look on her face.
Truly said, it looked like almost nothing of what was originally her, it should have been just some random catgirl I conjured, but trust me, at all points when I drafted you up to this completed perfection, I was drawing UK, you.

Might as well drop this here, since Rin Satsuki is sort of an Ijiyatsu character... Here is my work so far on her Erhu. Even though this'll just be a Yukkuri picture, I want to do her justice~

Edit: For anyone else drawing Rin:
The erhu has some unusual features. First is that its characteristic sound is produced through the vibration of the python skin by bowing. Second, there is no fingerboard; the player stops the strings by pressing their fingertips onto the strings without the strings touching the neck. Third, the bow hair is never separated from the strings (which were formerly of twisted silk but today are usually made of metal); it passes between them as opposed to over them (the latter being the case with western bowed stringed instruments). Lastly, although there are two strings, they are very close to each other and the player's left hand in effect plays as if on one string.
Thia means that the Erhu in some of Rin's more famous depictions (like this one (http://i33.tinypic.com/b3n3mp.jpg)) as well as her original ZUN portrait are technically incorrect.

it needs all the item types (right now it has Power, Point and IE) and the item's specific behavior hasn't been written yet. Otherwise, it works very well.
EDIT: Graphics for Power, Point, Big Power, Life Piece, Bomb Piece, Full Life, Full Bomb and Idiot Energy are all implemented.

It was an ordinary day for Ruro, chipping away at a block of wood without a care in the world. Her sculpture was going excellently, and the only thing that could distract her was someone walking in and-
Knock, knock.
"Dammit...come in."
On her cue, Donut poked the door open and let herself in. She seemed nervous.
"Important question from the classroom."
Ruro sighed.
"What sort of question?"
Donut took a deep breath before starting on her answer.
"Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?"
A moment of awkward silence.
"...Sorry, what?"
"I said, Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?"
Ruro shook her head slightly, wondering if her hearing had suddenly worsened.
"I have no idea what you're saying."
Donut frowned, repeating the statement slowly and clearly.
"Has anyone...really been far...even as...decided to use...even go...want...to do look more like?"
"...Well, what does that mean?"
Ruro's continued confusion left Donut raising her hands to the air in frustration.
"Well I don't know, otherwise I wouldn't be asking you, would I? I didn't expect some sort of Spanish inquisition-"
Donut's complaint was cut off as a trio of red-clothed priests dashed into the room, accompanied by a painfully long trumpet note.
"NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!" screamed their leader. Beneath the ornate scarlet hat she wore was long blonde hair, and there seemed to be a blade hanging from her waist...
"...Zengar...?"
The cardinal ignored Ruro's uttering, continuing with her introduction.
"Our chief weapon is surprise. Surprise and fear- fear and surprise, our two weapons are fear and surprise. And ruthless efficiency, our three weapons are-"
Zengar stuttered over her introduction repeatedly, her fellow cardinals standing in place regardless. It was difficult to make out for the wave of red they were wearing, but Donut could see one of them holding a pencil, while the other had a little tag on her uniform saying 'I <3 KOISHI'. That would make them Rou and Gpop respectively.
"...AMONGST our weapons are such elements as fear, surprise and - I'll come in again."
Zengar pulled her arms around Rou and Gpop, leading them back out of the room and closing the door behind them. Donut and Ruro stared at the door for some time before they realised they needed to cue them in.
"I didn't expect some sort of Spanish inquisition!"
The trumpet note played again as the deities barged back into the room.
"NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!"
Zengar seemed much prouder of herself this time.
"Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency and an almost fanatical devotion to the admin. And nice red uniforms - oh, DAMN."
Zengar, tripping up again, let her eyes fall to the floor. She looked over to Gpop expectantly.
"I can't say it. You have to say it."
Gpop looked at her, surprised.
"Oh, I couldn't do that-"
Zengar pulled her back outside, more forcefully this time, with Rou trailing behind as they closed the door behind them again. Donut was very much tempted just not to mention you-know-what again, but it was a morbid curiosity that caused her to utter those words (though admittedly with no real effort).
"...I didn't expect some sort of Spanish inquisition."
The trumpet note again (Who was playing that, exactly?) as the cardinals rushed in for the third time, this time with Gpop leading the fray. She'd been told what to say outside, but her mind naturally kept turning to Koishi regardless.
"Uh, nobody, um..."
"Expects," cued Zengar.
"Expects, yes, nobody expects the, um, Spanish, uh..."
"INQUISITION."
"I know, I know. Nobody expects the Spanish inquisition, except maybe Koishi-chan who could-"
Zengar hastily stepped on Gpop's foot, cutting off her introduction with a cry of pain.
"Owwie."
"Our chief weapons are..."
"Our chief weapons are, um..."
"Surprise..."
"Surprise, and, uh-"
"OKAY, STOP! STOP!"
Zengar reached her limit, pulling Gpop back behind her and taking the lead again.
"Our chief weapon is surprise. Blah blah blah blah. NOW."
With a feeling of relief, Zengar finally turned to Rou.
"Cardinal. Read the charges."
Smirking, Rou pulled out a piece of parchment and began to quote it.
"Aye, ye be hereby charged 'ae committin' heresy against the Holy Chuch. 'Ma dah said tae follow the-'"
"Alright, that's enough."
Rou's heavy Scottish accent started to grate fast, and Zengar was relieved to cut her off. She turned to Ruro, a demonic grin on her face.
"Now...how do you plead?"
Ruro turned to Donut, asking with her eyes 'What exactly are we being accused of...?' Donut shrugged at her.
"We're innocent," Ruro replied, hoping she was.
"HA! HA! HA!" [DIABOLICAL LAUGHTER]
"WE'LL SOON! CHANGE! YOUR MIND! ABOUT THAT!" [DIABOLICAL ACTING]
"Fear, surprise, ruthless effici-OOH..."
Zengar's insistence on listing her various weapons almost got the better of her, and she held the urge back with some effort.
"Now, Cardinal! The rack!"
Zengar turned to Gpop expectantly, watching as she fished around her cloak looking for a weapon. For a moment it flew up, showing the entire room her panties with a pattern of Embers of Love bullets running along them. Eventually her search came to an end, and she passed out to Zengar...a dish rack.
Zengar had a sudden urge to cut her in half, but she resisted. Barely.
"You...right. Tie her down."
Gpop and Rou quickly circled Ruro, tying the rack around her waist. Donut watched from a distance, only slightly more confused than the now-captive Ruro. Zengar took the chance to turn away from the crowd and grimace before pulling a brave face and turning back.
"Right. How do you plead?"
"Innocent."
Ruro didn't even look mildly threatened by the apparent 'torture' she was about to be put through. Zengar tried her best to maintain her composure.
"Ha, right! Cardinal, give the rack a-"
Her face fell suddenly.
"Oh dear...give the rack a turn."
Gpop seemed stunned by this, looking back down at the dish rack.
"I-"
"I KNOW, I know you can't. I didn't want to say it, I wanted to ignore your mistake."
"I-"
Zengar grew more teary with every interjection.
"It just seems so stupid..."
"Shall I, um?"
"Oh God, just pretend, for God's sake!"
On the verge of crying, Zengar let off one final laugh at the 'captured' Ruro.
"HA, HA, HA, HA!"
She held back as Gpop began to turn some invisible handle on the side of the rack. Ruro looked at the 'torturer', still unimpressed, as Donut stumbled away to answer the door. Zengar muttered to herself, ashamed of her institution.
"We'll never make it into the Lecture Series like this..."

Roukanken bit on the end of her pencil, looking to the sky in the hope that an idea would strike her down. She tapped a finger on the front of her notepad, growing more and more impatient as she wriggled into a comfortable position beneath the tree.
"Update Case Files? The Mafia crack fic? Some stupid short...?"
The only sound she could hear was the slow whirring of the gears in her head spinning to life, trying to generate a story that she could put to paper.
At least, it was until Zengar showed up. Then the loud, deliberate footsteps blocked out any sound her brain was making.
"Sup, Rou."
Rou bit down on the pencil a little harder.
"...Hey, Zengar."
"Mind if I do a little CLEAVING?"
Rou had two options here - let Zengar do what she wanted, or refuse and get cleaved for trying to interfere with her training. Not a hard choice.
"Go ahead. Just try not to be too loud or anything."
She may as well not have said it, because subtlety wasn't a word that Zengar really understood (or at least if she did, she didn't care much for it). The swordswoman quickly pulled out Zankantou, wielding it against an invisible enemy.
Please don't let her scream like she always does.
"I AM ZENGAR ZOMBOLT! THE SWORD THAT CLEAVES EVIL!"
...Never mind.
Rou started to scribble out words on the notepad, doing her best to ignore Zengar's thorough training regimen going on in front of her.
"HAH! TAKE THAT, FIEND! AND THIS!"
Rou was getting a headache just from sitting here. She stabbed her pencil through the paper, cursing quietly-
"NOW, FOR THE FINAL CLEAVE-!"
It was a good thing that Zengar was still screaming, because otherwise Rou would never have had enough warning to dodge before she sliced at the tree.
"What the fu-"
She rolled to the side, getting strands of grass all over her clothes. Zankantou cut through the tree cleanly as it toppled majestically to the ground. The swordswoman seemed pleased with herself.
"Excellent! Another successful training session!"
Rou's mouth hung open for a moment, out of sheer shock.
"W-What the hell, Zengar?! You nearly cut me in half!"
"You need to train as well, Rou. Remember that another incident could occur at any ti-"
"Whatever, whatever. There's nothing happening now, so I'm gonna take a break, okay?"
She stormed off, irritated, as Zengar frowned.
"...Poor girl. Couldn't CLEAVE her way out of a paper bag."

In here should be a little quieter.
Taking a seat in the midst of the Lecture Series, Rou smiled as she got back to writing. Without Zengar screaming her lungs out right next to her, things would hopefully be a lot easier. An idea had come to her on the way over as well, so she started writing an opening paragraph, the idea forming slowly but surely.
But nothing good lasts forever.
"Oh, Rou-chan!"
Someone was prancing through the lecture series. They didn't have permission to be here - at least, not anymore, but no-one had bothered stopping her from coming back in afterward. Gpop skipped across the room, placing her head over Rou's shoulder.
"Whatcha doin'?"
"Writing, that's all."
"Is it about Koishi-chan?"
"No."
Silence.
"Well, why not make it about Koishi-chan?"
"I don't feel like it, really."
"Really? But don't you think she's really really cute~?"
"I prefer Satori, myself."
Hoping that would be enough to shut Gpop up, Rou got back to writing. The ex-deity kept looming in, her breath blowing slightly at the page of the notebook.
"Want me to show you some pictures? You'll really like them."
"Not really, I'm sort of busy."
"They're really good, though. In fact I bunk to them every ni-"
"I need to be somewhere else right now."
Rou shuffled out of her chair, hastily making her way out of the Lecture Series. Gpop watched her leave, putting a finger to her mouth in a puzzled expression.
"Did she have some sort of subconscious urge to walk out? I wish Koishi-chan were here, she'd be able to tell me~"

The true sign of an artist is being willing to suffer for your art. This extended to both physical and financial suffering, and Rou's current plan was going to involve the latter.
Swimsuit? 50 glass beads, and that was for the cheapest one she could get - a personalised school swimsuit, with 'ROU-CHAN' scrawled on the front. (She was going to personally slap whoever decided to write that.)
Waterproof paper? 150 glass beads.
Hiring out a swimming pool to herself for an hour? 300 glass beads and a shiny rock.
...Silence? Priceless.
Finally, nothing to distract me...
Sitting at the bottom of the pool with her legs crossed, Rou placed the new notepad on her lap and started to write again. With nothing to put her off anymore, her story built up quickly, each word naturally seeming to flow from the one before it. There was something to be proud of with what she was producing, and it felt like it was worth all the trouble...
"Glub."
Hm? What was that?
"Blublgl..."
There was a sound coming from somewhere, but taking a quick glance around Rou couldn't see anyone else in the pool. Shrugging, she disregarded it and got back to writing-
"Glublglb!"
Great, it's getting louder too.
Getting irritated, Rou momentarily put a pair of fingers to her temples. She took a deep breath and-
"...Gl?"
...Aw, crap. I knew I forgot something.

One frenzied dash for the surface later, Rou added one last payment to add to her constantly growing charges - a breathing tube for 10 glass beads. Considering what she'd paid already, it was a good bargain.
Okay, THIS time for sure.
Even in silence, Rou's furrowed brow was enough to show her irritation. She swiped her pencil at the paper, intent on producing SOMETHING before the day was over.
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to hire a pool to yourself without someone finding out. Especially if that someone has a particular interest in you. Undoubtedly if said person is looking for potential blackmail material.
"うさあああぁ~"
The first sign Rou had of something being wrong was a muffled pair of footsteps. Assuming someone was cleaning the pool, she disregarded them, too busy looking at her own work to see the camera being poked at her.
The flash was much better at catching her attention.
"Mglb?!"
The sound of fleeing footsteps was enough to cue her in on the culprit, but her trademark cry made it doubly clear.
"うさ!"
Goddammit, Pesco!
Pulling herself out of the pool, Rou quickly dashed in the rabbit's direction. She was nowhere near as fast, though, and Pesco quickly started to gain distance on her.
"Dammit...!"
She could make out a middle finger being stuck up at her, as Pesco continued to escape with her embarrassing photos in tow. Regardless, Rou forced herself to keep charging, desperate to save her dignity.
Or at least, whatever shards of it Pesco hasn't already taken-
The chase continued for several minutes, neither of them showing signs of tiring, until Pesco made a sharp turn into a room on the right. Rou smirked - that was a dead end for sure. She'd caught her!
"Got you now, Pes-"
Her triumphant victory cry was cut short when she realised that Pesco wasn't the only one in the room. She could make out Zengar and Gpop, Ruro, Donut, Kanako, Trance, Alice...there wasn't a person she could name who WASN'T here.
And now every single one of them was looking at her in a school swimsuit.
"...Rou-chan?"
There was an awkward quiet for a few moments, followed by muffled giggles.
Then, outright laughter.
Rou shielded herself with her arms, blushing madly, but by now it was too late. Pesco laughed along with the crowd, smirking at her apparent superior.
"うふふふ~"
Uwaa...Pesco, you're so mean...

The intention's to make something that looks better than the crappy Danmakufu defaults, so we need to get that out of the way before we can do anything else, hence the apparent lack of production. As much as I hate myself for this, I feel like I have to address this.
Queen's Blade is part of a table-top RPG called Lost Worlds. The character books are infamous for having these girls with generic or outlandish designs in incredibly suggestive positions, usually without showing any nudity whatsoever. The series pretty much prides itself on these designs, which range from Echidna, the serpent woman who actually has a snake for panties, to Melona, a shape-shifting rabbit girl that uses goo-like hands to cover her breasts, to Tomoe, a rather generic shrine maiden. For reasons beyond my comprehension, the series gained enough popularity to warrant multiple series of character books and even an expansion pack known as Queen's Blade Rebellion, which features new characters and re-releases (http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10102985) of older ones (http://www.hlj.com/product/HBJ25666). There is a side series known as Queen's Gate which uses licensed characters from other companies, including Dizzy from Guilty Gear X (http://www.hlj.com/product/HBJ25862), Alice from Nitro+ (http://www.hlj.com/product/HBJ25627), and even Ink Nijihara from Moetan (http://www.hlj.com/product/HBJ25628).
HobbyJapan's merchandising of this series is really second-to-none. I have to give credit where credit is due, because despite the fact that these characters are either incredibly unspectacular in design (http://www.hlj.com/product/HBJ25495) or disgustingly offensive (http://www.hlj.com/product/HBJ25514), they've somehow managed to hit the perfect niche, and their books and figures sell incredibly well. Popularity of the series became so great that they were finally able to get an anime series based on the Queen's Blade novels.
The anime series, which is currently on its second season, is some of the most poorly-written drivel I've ever had the displeasure of witnessing. The entire point of the series is that there is a tournament known as Queen's Blade, and the winner of the tournament becomes the "Queen". I assume this title is literal, because at least one character claims that she wishes to win so she can change the country for the better. Everyone appears to have a different reason for fighting: some are forced, some are trying to better themselves, some are arrogant and power-hungry, and some are searching for the answer to a mystery they've questioned all their lives. The first season ignores this entirely in favor of poor character introductions and a continuity that blows my mind (throughout the first season, Reina, the main character of the series, falls down a cliff into a river, which causes her to wash up in the desert, after which she is washed down another river that came out of a pyramid, which leads her to a forest; yeah, think about that). The only real "villians" that we have are the trio of Airi, Menace, and Melona, who are working for an entity known as the "Swamp Witch," and their mission is to, for whatever reason, end Queen's Blade forever. By the end of season 1, Melona has turned into a colossus, and Nanael and Reina have to stab its weak point for massive damage, which destroys her and triggers the "Hey, it's the actual villian" cutscene. It's really one of the most unwatchable, pointless shows I've ever seen in my life, and I'm currently watching Kampfer and the second season of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu.
The second season of the series focuses entirely on the Queen's Blade tournament, which is being manipulated by the current Queen Aldra, who has a demonic eye patch with the ability to encase people in yellow crystals. She is incredibly powerful, and the contestants must fight one another in a series of battles in random locales in order for a single individual to finally face Aldra for the title of Queen. This part of the series actually manages to be interesting, though still incredibly appalling in its own ways. Rather than putting so much attention on these characters that you shouldn't care about, they just take them and make them fight, turning the series from an incredibly stupid fantasy series to an average, generic fantasy fighter that manages to be watchable. It's surprising that they even seem to cut down on the nudity and perverse situations to put more emphasis on the story they've tried so hard to set up. The ecchi aspect of the series is definitely still there (often in full-force, sometimes to the point of facepalm-worthy idiocy), but it's definitely toned-down from the first season. This includes Nanael, the angel known for getting a thick, "angelic" milk all over herself in suggestive ways, as she can no longer spill any or face real consequences, as it's actually the source of her power, and losing any manages to weaken her. Yes, it's stupid, and I'm not even going to try and defend it.
I know more about this series than any individual should, and I'm one of the biggest anti-Queen's Blade proponents you will ever meet, which made the announcement on my birthday that both seasons had been licensed for a Summer 2010 US release and would be receiving dubs all that more of a terrible joke that proves that the gods above have forsaken me and have one of the most devilish senses of humor in the cosmos. Welcome to my world.

Well, a little comment on this, it wasn't hard to draw, but it was a daring attempt as I haven't done much double girls in one picture for a long time. For that, this picture is pure achievement.
The lines are refined as it is supposed to be, with a superior scanner available this is by far some detailed work.
I also reworked most of the color and the smudges to give the picture more volume, but I figured there is no need for the work to be as detailed to the hair.

I do love AF's art, but I'm not exactly the type to, um, fap (although I'd be flattered if anyone was to do so to a representation of me, really). The last post I made here about Ijiyatsu-me is probably the most accurate in terms of how I view the artwork being produced here, in fact.
Besides, I think Ijiyatsu-me is far too beautiful for me to soil my image of her by treating her solely as a sex object...

Hell, you could just submit any ideas that you wanted to have included about Ijiyatsu Donut, and I or whoever ends up formatting the bios for style consistency can write one up to see what you think.

I consider the project more than simply the game itself. 'fan art', 'fan fiction', and everyone else's contributions are all part of this collaborative project, so I think it has a place here. And I don't really consider it as 'fan' art/fiction, since everything is being produced in-house.
That being said, I have expressed the idea of making additional threads to keep everything organized, but it seems the general consensus is that Nwbi's organization thread and this one are sufficient.

Yeah its Super Robot Wars, And like Sakura Taisen, its pretty much ALMOST Japan only, hence why I use taisen instead. (Sakura Taisen is coming to the states though, With the one game in America too! :V )
And only (Mostly) the Playstation Versions, Not even the DS ones have voice actors. And of course its over the top, You've got the likes of Getter and Mazinger going at it! its a crime not to have it over the top!
