The Fusion core will improve a feature of the facility it is mounted to.

Refinery- + 5 Scrap Metal production

Defence System- +10 Defence

Mess Hall- food stuff consumtion is ruduced by half

Repair Bay- +3 to max Frame Points

Dry Dock- -1 Month to construction time of Vessels

I'm tempted to say Mess Hall for how. If we run out of food, we are fucked. Super fucked. Later fusion units can go to other things, but reducing consumption (I presume through more efficient use) will be very useful right now.

Unfortunately, you canot produce food yet.

We'll eventually be able to produce food. perhaps we should send another shipment of raw materials we sent to that station to get more food then.

I think we should put the core in dry dock.

Dry dock's not going to be that useful for awhile. We're not going to be able to make many ships for some time, and having a lot would be a poor idea anyways. Hunger, however, is always going to be a problem, and the more we can stretch out our food, the better. It's not possible to have too much food. It's useful for barter if nothing else.

That would help. Bartering excess food seems like it would help us get scrapmetal at least.

Very well, I change my vote to mess hall.

Fusion core for the mess hall sounds good.

As far as building goes, I think we should expand the defense system if we have any leftover resources.

- You gave a speech to the men. They vow amongst themselves to not lose hope in the face of an obstacle. We've done well this far anyways.

+ 10 Morale

- Someone's been talking about a hidden paradise located somewhere near Earth....

- The Defenders remain vigilant, sending out patrols...

They were able to see a battle between the Martians and Lunarians from far away.

They encountered a band of Raiders! There were more frames, supported by a gunship! (R 25) < (D 41) . The defenders repelled the raider.

  Diana: Damn, that was close.

The Bushido sustained light damage, but there was enough space in the Repair Bay to allow the Frame to be repaired.

- You mounted the Vessel Fusion core to the Mess Hall. Food is now tastier and lasts longer in people's stomachs.

Food consumtion is reduced by 50%

-The Condor and Izanagi Custom scavanged for scrap metal.

You find what used to be a Martian War Vessel. How can you tell? just by the insignia, cause everything else is scrap metal!

+10 Scrap Metal

You found an oddly shaped part of a machine. It appears to be a hand of some sort, ut it is unlike any arm seen on a current frames. You keep it in storage for now...

 ---> See Events

- You constructed a scavanger vessel. It's a haphazardly built machine, but it's worked for everyone else. The men christened it the Vulture.

- You repaired the luxury yacht and converted it into the scavanger vessel Throat Warbler Mangrove. Believe it or not, this was the actual name!

-You constructed a turret defensive array. No would suspect rocks to be shooting at them

+ 4 to Defense

- The upgrade to the Repair Bay is completed. You can now hold a total of 8 Frame Points without too much trouble

- The refinery produced 10 Scrap Metal from the Raw Materials

- The miners obtained 55 Raw materials from their endeavors

- 5 Food Stuffs were consumed.

- A TM-27 has returned to operational status and resumed work

- you constructed a TM-27 mining unit. Someone painted the name "Gold Digger" on it with a vulgar picture of a woman. Come on guys, that's not cool.

- The Crew is trying to figure out a solution to the lack of food production. This will take a while. 4 Months in fact.

- The Crew has created the blueprints for a combat vessel. Gunship is now available for construction

That lounge is gonna be helpful, so refining the Gems will give us what we need.

Food is no longer an immdiate issue, as is, we can go about 19 months before we run out, and the issue to food production can be solved in about 4.

-The Defenders remain vigilant, sending out patrols...

No one attacked this month. There has been an increase of Terran Munitions activity recently, though.

- You constructed a probe and sent it out to investigate the blue light. It sends pictures back as it travels towards the blue light...

A magnifacent white vessel appeared on the screen. As it travels, it leaves behind a sparkling blue trail. What appeared to be a black frame flew up to the probe and examined it. Closer inspection reveals that it is not any ordinary Frame. There was a flash of red, and the probe went silent. It is safe to say that the probe is destroyed.

-The Condor and Izanagi Custom scavanged for scrap metal.

You found ejected containers of scrap metal. Perhaps it was to ditch extra weight during an attack?

+15 Scrap Metal

-The Vulture Scavanged for scrap metal

You found stray pieces of metal. There's enough here to be useful

+5 Scrap metal

- The TWM scavanged for scrap metal

You found what was left of a Terran Heavy AWF. It's been torn to shreds.

+15 Scrap metal

- You examined the arm more closely.

Upon closer inspection of the arm, you note how wildly different it is from normal arms. It does, however, incorporate Orbital Unit technology. The crew will continue to study the part to see what they can do.

-The skeith has returned from it's trip. you recieved 30 Scrap Metal

- you continue construction of the gunship. It will take 1 months to complete.

- you began construction of the relaxation lounge. It will take 1 more month to complete.

- The crew have been talking about entering the Frame Race Gran Prix to win big money. However, it will require a skilled pilot, and a special frame.

Can we build two things at once? If so, we could get both upgrades going right now.

As for the frame race, I am of two minds. On one hand, we could win, and winning is awesome.

On the other hand? Winning, or even entering, is going to make us known. One of our chief defenses is that not too many people know about us. The more notoriety we get, the more raiders and such we'll have to deal with. Then, possibly, annexation attempts.

I'd add manuverability in there. It might be a technical course.

What kind of race is this expected to be?

I vote to join because the research that would give us should allow us to improve the performance of all out frames.

Also if we can, build both upgrades.

The Frame Gran Prix is a race that tests speed and handling. The last part of the Gran Prix will also test endurance. This is an opportunity for comapnies to show off their technological superiority and durability. However, the race also tests the abilities of the individual, so pilots will try to make a name for themselves in this race. There will also be vetereans of the races, some sponsored by the corporations, others from home-grown businesses.

These are the prices for each frame type. They will be applicable if you decide to participate and costs kick in on the next turn.

> Speed-tuned Frame. = 85 Raw Materials; 60 Scrap metal
> Accel-tuned Frame. = 80 Raw materials; 50 Scrap metal
> Handeling/Turning-tuned Frame. =  75 Raw Materials; 40 Scrap Metal
> All-tuned Frame. = 100 Raw Materials; 60 Scrap Metal

Prices are large due to prototyping costs, spare parts,  and frame modifications during the race. These are supposed to be high-end machines not normally used, thus it is necessariy to get it done right.. However, the race payouts are much larger.

Some of the advertised prizes are Luxurious trips to the Titan Resort and Spa, 100 of each type of Resource, 500 Luxury Items, a new Frame, a cruise on one of Earth's pristine oceans, backstage passes to see Mitokana Ayushi's latest concert, a Genstarta Pattern Fusion core for use on vessels and stations, or a Titania Pattern Fusion Core meant for use on Frames.

Hmm, I'm not really worried about pricing, but I AM worried about picking the proper frame-stat set-up. We would obviously need a Speed and Handling tuned Frame, if even possible.

For rewards, we only REALLY benefit from the resources, Luxery Items, the Frame and the 2 different Fusion Cores. The trips and such would only really work as morale boosters and such

"100 of each type of Resource" includes Luxury Items as well, correct?

Do we know if the "New Frame" counts as a Small, Medium or Large type? Could we potentially end up with access to that Frame through means other then this race, such as reasearch?

Do the Fusion Cores allow access to new tech that they are meant for, or would they function as Upgrades?

I'm leaning towards the All-around frame right now due to obvious reasons, and the stats included in the frame include all-around endurance as well correct?

Also, it might be smart to go test every crew member on the station to see who is most qualified to pilot the frame.

For the first question, yes, that includes Luxury Items.

second question: the Frame will be a medium type. however you'll only have to worry about maintaining it during the races. It will not affect total frame points.

third question: No. This is a race-specific frame, but you can get variants when the race is done.

the fourth question: Both, but the Titania core allows new access to Frame tech, while the Genstarta will provide new Vessel Upgrades

Build the basic spy antennae

I am split between sheltering and fixing the core. If there is a tie, I vote for sheltering.

I choose Gerald because that spoils of War looks useful

I think the Nova should escort the TWM.
Little did he know, the shed was near Yuyuko, who was in a role-play of Dune. As a sandworm.

Spoils of war sounds nice, but if we're going to get into fights, we should be getting into fights to win. Give it to Diana.

Also, fix the core, but allow anyone who actually wants to follow us to do so. Also swear the rest to secrecy.
