They're also having some trouble staying standing, you see a thin layer of ice covering the ground in their direction. You also notice that a number of objects in your surroundings have been frozen over, such as dorrs frozen shut and iced-over lamp posts.

The glacier has an odd shape to it, it's a sculpture of something, but you can't make out the details from this distance.
