Challenger Princess HakureiSM has challenged
Reigning Maiden Jay-T I mean
Defending Maiden JT to... something. Taking into account both the capabilities of users in order to make something that is as fair as possible
in spite of the name of "Idiot Challenge", I present...
"Lego Battle!"
Rules are simple.
- You are to draw-scan-upload use-building-program-upload takepicture-upload a picture with a central object or theme. To prevent "misreading" what you SUBMIT, the image should be accompanied by a caption or something (just plain text will be fine, though you're more than welcome to edit it into your image). You will be PMing the submissions to me
- This will be a best of 3, so the first person to "win" twice by judge(s) discretion will be the victor
- Not an actual rule but I would really like it if you didn't submit a 10000x10000 or a 5MB file / somewhat long gif or something ridiculous because of bandwidth issues on my end. So with that said, the current image size limit is 500kB and nothing higher will be accepted. Oh wait, that would meant that it is a rule now, so haha. Anyway, if for some reason, you find yourself at something like 501kB, may I politely suggest a deal w/ it?
So, how will things play out? Judges will be (hurr) judging your works, by order of "
which image they think is better", this however can be in terms of anything like "Object A beats Object B" to "Object B looks prettier than Object A (and is therefore better)".
Given that I'm a
little bit
concerned about about the activity at the moment I'm going to set the deadline for the first submission to
48 72 hours from the time of
this post by the forum's clock.
There is no theme for this first submission. With that said, for the second and (possible third) submissions, you can choose to either have a theme "restriction" placed on or not because:
[14:26] <Baitums> though, thinking about it the other way
[14:26] <Baitums> *not* putting a theme means they could become indecisive
So basically, your call; if you believe you work better with a theme then by all means say so and the next one (or two) will have theme restrictions. If it's a 1:1 split, then the second one will be themed, and the third un-themed.
To sum up the above for the two (just in case that it confused the crap out of you):
- SUBMIT pictars, get rating from judges
- Choose whether or not you would like to have the next submissions "themed" or "un-themed"
Thank you mystery man.Any questions? Put them here.
Oh yeah, Peanut Gallery, if in the case that the two do choose go with themes, then obviously, you're more than welcome to
SUBMIT ideas.
Good luck and have fun Do your best!
